Also a key feature is, the irrigation during summer months keeping campsites green all year round as well as the natural lagoons to paddle in with the kayak. If you are a keen fisherman, the King River is known for Cod and if you have booked one of the southern most sites you will be able to paddle up the river in a kayak fishing, (kayak not supplied). There are no toilets available onsite and campers must be self-contained keeping in mind, there are toilet facilities at the Oxley Park. Pets are welcome but, must be contained within your site as there are livestock and other campers to consider. Samsons Gully is a working cattle farm nestled in a stunning private valley. If you are after peace and tranquillity this is where you will find it. We have a national park on one side of us, and the Cudgewa Creek flowing along our front boundary. The property is perfect for mountain biking, bushwalking, fishing or just plain relaxing. The favourite camp site is on the banks of the Cudgewa Creek. However, there are plenty of places to camp in the bush for those wanting more seclusion. Samsons Gully is a perfect base to explore the Upper Murray. 20 minutes away is Corryong where there is an IGA, service stations, dump point, Dr and hospital, pubs and cafes. 10 minutes away is the Cudgewa pub who do dinner Wednesday through to Sunday evenings. Our property suits fully self contained campers only as there is not toilet or shower. Dogs and horses are welcome but must be well behaved and kept close to your camp site as this is a working cattle property. Due to council regulations we can only open one site up at a time. This ensures that your time here will be exclusive, peaceful and private.

Our quiet grassy sites offer you complete privacy for your camping experience. We have lots of native plants on the property and have a spring fed dam on the property which is a beautiful spot to relax at twilight and try to spot the native wildlife. Our horse property is located only 20 minutes from Benalla or 30 minutes from Wangaratta with plenty to do in the surrounding area. From the property there is access to the Silo Art Trail, King Valley, Victorian High Country and a number of Sate Parks full of beautiful walks. Pets are welcome off leash but please be mindful of the horses, cattle and wildlife that are on the property.We have a portable toilet available for your use and fire pits available as well. Fire pit use is pending on fire restrictions.

Incredible central and private location, set back off the Snow Road in Oxley, Northeast Victoria, boasting natural riverplain terrain with diverse ecology, lagoons and rivers onsite. There is plenty to do in the area from wineries to walking tracks, snow fields to breweries, not to mention renowned Brown Brothers Winery and the Milawa Cheese Factory, just down the road. There are tracks from your campsite that link to the sealed bike path which joins Wangaratta, Oxley and Milawa townships together. Then only a short walk, bike or scooter ride and you are at Miranda Winery, King River Cafe or Oxley Park (with playground and BBQ). There is also a communal swimming hole (King River) at the Stan Allen Reserve just before the Oxley Park. This is particularly great for the campsites that, although are perched on the banks of the King River, don’t have their own designated swimming hole. Also a key feature is, the irrigation during summer months keeping campsites green all year round as well as the natural lagoons to paddle in with the kayak. If you are a keen fisherman, the King River is known for Cod and if you have booked one of the southern most sites you will be able to paddle up the river in a kayak fishing, (kayak not supplied). There are no toilets available onsite and campers must be self-contained keeping in mind, there are toilet facilities at the Oxley Park. Pets are welcome but, must be contained within your site as there are livestock and other campers to consider. Settled in the foothills of the Great Divide this 200 hectare working farm has available bush settings for camping. The property is adjacent to the Samaria State Park containing walking tracks and remnants of past logging activities. The Kelly Tree at Stringybark Creek is a short drive away. Also nearby is the Tatong Tavern which has a lovely country feel and serves meals seven nights a week. For film lovers the renowned Swanpool Cinema is a 15 minute drive away. Your campsite is nestled into a bush setting in a quiet corner of the property offering peaceful enjoyment of the sounds of the forest. The creek has several water holes suitable for fishing and swimming. Nearby attractions include Lake Nillahcootie and the historic township of Tolmie. Further afield there are wineries at Millawa and Taminick. Glenrowan township is close by and offers access to another wine region and the site of Ned Kelly's last stand.

The camp was so nice! The river is beautiful and the cows are so close!! We stayed at rocky River with hammocks. Toilets are long drops very clean and well maintained! Hosts were lovely and very accommodating. Our plans change a few times and they had nothing but positive and helpful things to say! We will for sure be back for a longer stay soon!

Great spot, the site we stayed at felt quite private. Both Ian and Patrick were great and easy to communicate with. The river was flowing a little too fast for us to jump in due to a huge amount of rain being dropped around Victoria the day before we rocked up but that can happen! The site had drained really well though, and we had no trouble getting in.

We had the loveliest stay at Ginny & Garry’s campsite. This was a very spacious & secluded campsite, a little drive away from the others. The property is very well looked after & Ginny was so lovely & accomodating. They have thought about everything you may possibly need from free firewood to a kiosk full of items you may need during your stay from ice, to milk, to jam & eggs and the list goes on. There’s also two showers, a kitchen and toilets. Everything is very accessible! If you’re staying at corner camp, you’ll need to drive down to this area which worked out fine for us. We had the most delightful time camping here & we’ll definitely be back!

This place is an absolute gem! From Ginnie, to the camp site, to the honey they sell, everything is fantastic. The campsite is isolated but only a couple hundred metres from the toilets and showers. The amenities block is perfect with drinks/food to buy at great prices and the water is steaming hot in the showers. Ginnie was so lovely and friendly! We will 100% be back!

What a beautiful and secluded location right on the river.. We enjoyed meeting the farm animals and waking up in the morning to birdsong. Charles recommended a drive up the hill to watch the sunset and whilst we were too early for the sunset it is a view worth driving for.. we will be back.
