Please read the whole listing, lots to tell you about us. Campsites 1 is large and can accommodate two vans and 2 - 3 tents (or 14 -16 people). Campsites 2 and 3 are smaller and more suited to one van with 1 - 2 tents (or 4 - 6 people). Ample car parking. Campsites are 110m apart with a light screen of trees in between, no crowds here. Accessed via 3.5km of rough dirt track - not recommended for low vehicles or low towing vans. The track is rough BUT easily driven by all vehicles - just drive slowly. Dogs welcome, firewood is easily gathered by you, and often in piles by your campsite. Campsites are NOT near water. They are near a dry gully, with an **** unfenced dam.**** We have a beautiful swimming hole at the property entrance, in Boggy Creek. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shaded lawn area, BBQ and pot belly fire. The creek is 3kms from the campsites. Near The Hut is the gate to take a walk up to Sugar Loaf (500m return), where you can see amazing grass trees and place a rock on the cairn. Look for the wallabies that live up there. Stay with us to get away from crowded campsites, to enjoy a quieter holiday, while being close to a great tourist district. The King Valley showcases wineries, gourmet food, eateries, restaurants, pubs, brewery, even a gin distillery. We are surrounded by creeks, rivers and lakes, with many fishing, swimming and kayaking options - all within a 30 minute drive! Take a walk to the top of Sugar Loaf, and see unique grass trees on this rocky hill, while catching sight of Mount Buffalo. 8kms to Moyhu which has a pub, coffee shop, general store - all with great food options. Our family and friends had a wonderful stay at David’s farm. We had the area to ourselves; it was private and very well maintained. The compost toilets were very clean and in proximity to our camp. We also enjoyed spending time with the animals; watching the goats being milked and the chickens wandering nearby. We would love to return someday, hopefully when there’s less rain! Weekend Trip to Thornbridge near Wineries, Lakes

A great place to camp. Quiet, isolated and super beautiful surroundings. There is 2x other sites nearby but they're far enough apart and separated by trees that your site feels private. The swimming hole near the house is a bonus on hot days and the flushing toilet close to the camp sites is amazing. Stewart and Gayle pop by everyday to say hi and make sure the fire water containers are full. Definitely going to stay here again and for longer next time.

We had a blast tent camping at the Mansfield Lake campground with power, including our furry babies (Polly and coco) Booking was a breeze, and the customer service was top-notch. From the Hicamp website to the host, everyone was super helpful. The bathrooms and restrooms were spotless, and the hot water was a huge bonus! We also loved watching the sunset over the beautiful lake. We're definitely coming back.

Awesome spot! The staff are super helpful. There are some shady camping spots. Best part, the lake is just a short walk from my tent.

Thank you for the hospitality David. A lovely overnight with a small fire! The drop toilet is one of the more upmarket drops I’ve experienced! Was easy to find and Violet Town has a lovely cafe for coffee in the morning.

Great little spot to camp among the trees! David was helpful and flexible, and gave us some good tips on arrival. The ground in the area is quite hard, and for some reason I couldn't find any rocks, so to prospective campers I recommend bringing a hammer. Oddly enough the farm has one of the most well stocked dunny's I've ever seen!
