Pinot Pocket is a lovely place for a weekend getaway. Tonia is very accommodating and quick with communication and questions. The metal firepit was a great inclusion, meaning we didn't have to dig into soil, etc. Picturesque and quiet, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere - which was a good thing! Highly recommend!

What a great spot to camp! Fantastic picturesque views and we had complete isolation in amongst the rows of vines. We were warmly greeted as we arrived and even had our fire started. Highly recommend and we will look to revisit this location soon.

This campsite is absolutely amazing, with stunning views that make it well worth recommending! They also offer a campfire option, and even though we didn’t end up having one, the host still provided us with some firewood for free, which was really nice. Definitely a great place to stay!

Stunning campsite with beautiful views. It's so peaceful and private. A perfect location for exploring Warburton and surrounding areas. We loved using the fire pit and relaxing with views over the vineyard. Would not hesitate to recommend!

This was one of the best stays I have had on Hipcamp. Beautiful location close to the Cathedral Mountains. I took a trip with my daughter and we really enjoyed the experience we had had. Clean and neat site with a prepared campfire and wood ready and waiting to be lit. Privacy screen, benches around the campfire, and backed on to nature made the site beautiful and serene and comfortable . The shower was beautiful and so nice after the hike. Sharelle gave us food to give to the adorable cows. I will definitely be back again. ,

Weekend Trip to Nerrigundah contrée sauvage

Private site, no intrusion, welcoming host, all added to our experience which we thoroughly enjoyed. Flushing toilets a short stroll away were a bonus. The kids had fun running around and we even got on the boat and kayaks for a little while in the dam. The life jackets provided were very thoughtful, gave us peace of mind. What a beautiful location! Tonia was a lovely host, gave very clear instructions for how to get to the site, and she provided us with everything we needed. The site itself is very private and secluded, with a gorgeous view and lots of areas to walk around and explore. Truly loved this stay and would highly recommend!

A fabulous river-side site, flat and plenty of sunlight across the site. Great fire pit and really handy to have the loo nearby onsite. Being able to take my dog was a massive plus. I would definitely re-book site #3

We stayed for the weekend and it was wonderful! So quiet and peaceful, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The vineyard is gorgeous with the surroundings mountains and fog, the campfire set up was great!

Gorgeous camp! I had a little solo adventure and felt so safe, happy and relaxed at Galea Ranch. Sharelle and Wayne went above and beyond taking care of the site and me, and even invited me in on some of their farm and animal activities when I said I loved the animals! They left me extra firewood too as I was on my own. The shower was beautifully designed and so nice to have a quick clean after a long day. Can’t wait to come back 🥰

2 nights at Summerhill Vineyard

A really lovely spot, that you have to yourself. Protected by huge cypress trees on one side. It’s offers seclusion & no need to worry about neighbours. So enjoyable to walk through the vines. The fire pit was a welcome on the cold night, winter has arrived. Great spot for dogs to enjoy & our two loved the freedom. Would return for sure.

Summerhill Vineyard

Welcome to Summerhill Vineyard! Pitch your tent or park your camper on a private, elevated position overlooking vineyards, farmland and surrounding mountain ranges. Enjoy plenty of space and peace and quiet. The campsite is located on the edge of our 32-acre vineyard, on a 120-acre property. Guests are welcome to take a walk amongst the vines, subject to vineyard operations during the season of course. All guests must be self-sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Fire restrictions in place during your stay must be observed. Firewood is available for purchase from a neighbour, located opposite the entrance to Summerhill Road. 4wd accessible during the wetter months and 2wd during the drier months. You are welcome to bring your dog, just please note that the area is unfenced. We have a mob of kangaroos that visit and cattle and horses reside here also. We ask that our guests display responsible pet ownership at all times. Summerhill Vineyard is located in the Upper Yarra region of the Yarra Valley. We are a 5-minute drive from Yarra Junction township, with supermarkets, butchers and a small shopping precinct. The picturesque township of Warburton is just over 7kms away. Restaurants, cafes, and wineries are all a short drive from here. Yarra Ranges National Park is also on our door step. We are a 1hr 15mins drive from Melbourne, though Summerhill Vineyard will have you feeling a world away. The Yarra Valley offers quality local food and wine, breathtaking scenery, walks, cycling tracks, and tourist destinations like Healesville Sanctuary, Lotus Water Gardens, Warburton Rail Trail and much more. Or.....you can chill out and just enjoy the serenity and views from your campsite. My family live on the property, close to 1/2km from the campsite, far enough away for your complete privacy, or close enough if you need us! The Fern Glade

Nestled right beside the Murrundini River, all 3 campsites are beside the river, and well spaced apart for privacy and peace. Campsite 2 (site two) is shady, surrounded by tall swamp gums, black wood wattles and tree ferns. This spot is at its best from late spring through to autumn . Site One is a large flat area beside the river that is good all year round. It has fencing and gates, perfect to let dogs run free without going too far. Site 3 (Craig's flat), is a large open campsite, able to take more camper-vans/ tents with plenty of space. All sites have fire places and gas BBQ's (byo gas bottle) And there are plenty of fish for those that want to try their luck. The original home stead (built in 1876) burnt down in the 2009 black Saturday fires. There still remains many 150+ year old elms and other European trees near the toilet block, which are delightful in autumn. We have some fantastic views from the hill up and down the Murundindi Valley, especially at sunset. We're located only a few short km's from Wilhelmina Falls and Murundindi Scenic Reserve, you get the best part of the river, without the crowds. We are a short drive from Melbourne, and easy access to the townships of Yea and Yarra Glen for supplies if you need them. Amazing, abundant and rare bird life to enjoy and photograph. (see guests photos). With no light pollution this is the ideal spot for star gazing.

Bushy Ridge Hideaway

Warm fires, starry skies, seclusion! Great for caravans, camper trailers, tents and more! Nestled in the valley of a 1000 hills and on the land of the Taungurung people, this little patch of hilly heaven is home to a small family of farm animals, dog and their two owners. With its rugged natural beauty, amazing sunsets and starry skies, it was hard not to want to share its beauty with others. The property is the gateway to Murrindindi, has power and water for campers, a dam if you enjoy yabbying and perfect for intimate, small groups. We offer a flat campsite and ridge top campsite. Low gear and 4wd preferable during very wet months. NOTE: Campfires subject to fire restrictions at over summer, please message. Our secluded, flat campsite is surrounded by unspoilt bushland and is home to a multitude of native Australian animals. Our ridge-top campsite also features beautiful bush, and some amazing views. With over 50 acres of rugged hilly bushland, no neighbours in sight and tracks to explore, this is the perfect place for those who enjoy a challenging bush walk, privacy and a sky to watch the stars. Campers are required to be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Shiprock Farm

Bring the family and friends for a secluded and private wilderness experience surrounded by 60 acres of forest. This totally separate wilderness camping paddock sits within our organic permaculture farm property where we grow fruits, veggies, nuts and flowers. Set up camp in the shade on a gently sloping 2 acre paddock all to yourself - that's right - we are offering only one site listing (for you and up to 23 guests) situated about 1 km from the main farm house and completely surrounded by forest. A genuine wilderness experience with forest (tree) bathing, spring fed creeks and total peace for you and your group very close to Melbourne. You can hopefully spot our resident platypus and kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, wombats etc. There’s also abundant bird life including lyre birds and eagles. Explore all the Yarra Ranges has to offer including a short walk to Shiprock Falls. Grab a coffee or pizza in nearby Gembrook and checkout some farm produce from your hosts before you leave. We have added a composting toilet, a drinking water tank and a bush pole shelter with cold water kitchen sink, phone charger ports, lights and hot water to a private shower and a picnic table with seats under cover. We have an adjacent fire pit area with tree log seating. You can order firewood from us too and a Coleman gas cooker with gas bottle (see extras). Most of the materials are repurposed from another property or scavenged from our forest. We hope to see you soon.
