Power and town water is available. There is a fire pit, with seating. And we are dog-friendly! Our private, riverfront secluded campsites are large and clean. All 6 sites are riverfront with power and fresh water supplied. They are relatively flat, level grass/dirt areas with gum trees peppered throughout the site for shade in summer. We can accommodate any type and size of camping vehicle and 2WDs. Park your caravan or pitch a tent and relax. For fishing and watersport enthusiasts there is access to a boat ramp. From camp there is sloping bank access to the water, steeper in some parts. Guests will have access to a toilet, fire drums and cut your own firewood is available. Please read the Campground conditions of entry: VERY IMPORTANT- this campground features River Gum Trees. Take care when choosing where to park and camp. Always look up and do not park or camp under overhanging branches, assess the site first. River gums can drop branches without warning. We loved camping at Glenmaye Farm. We booked the Highside Family site for 9 people, plenty of room for big tents (we had a couple 10 person tents which fit with all the rest of our cars and tents around). Compostable toilet system nice a simple. Walking up the paddock, we got an amazing view of the whole area. Swimming in the river/waterfall was so nice, plenty of different little pool areas along the river. Walk from our campsite (the furthest?) was less than 15mins, required climbing up some rocks and along fallen trees but was simple to navigate. Nice to not feel like we were on top of other groups, as the sites were spread out. Matine greeted us and showed us around the property and our site. Overall a great spot!

We had a very peaceful stay. Fire pit was great to use, bathroom was clean and private (such a camping luxury!) and the waterfall and rocks were a short enough walk that our four year old could easily manage. Matine was a great host, met us and helped us find the site.

Great quiet spot not far from town. We booked quite late and last minute but Michelle was happy to accommodate us and even did a quick mow of the site for us. Level clearing amongst the trees with plenty of kangaroos and ducks around made for an excellent and safe place to camp for the night.

Could I recommend this place? YES. Can I truly put into words how good it is? Probably not… but I’ll try. The family is so passionate about what they do. The care, love, and knowledge they have for their animals is incredible – especially seeing the kids so involved in running the place. The spacing between the sites is great, and the areas are nice and flat too, which made setting up super easy. As an avid photographer, I actually didn’t take many photos because I was so immersed in the experience and in their stories. Getting to handle the Highland cows was something I’ll never forget. An easy 5 stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

2 nights at Hidden Beauty on Broken Creek

Carole was a friendly and generous host. I was given wood, eggs, oranges, spinach and even a salve for my sprained ankle. My camp site, situated at the bottom of their back garden, was right on the creek and felt like a bush setting. Plenty of animals -peacocks, geese, goats, chooks, to see, but not unfortunately the elusive platypus. But they did set up a TV documentary on platypus for to watch at my convenience. Definitely recommend their Farmstay.
