There is a adjoining bathroom (accessible from outside) with toilet, vanity and HOT shower. (BYO towels). Please note the bathroom may be shared with my Glamping site guests. (just one other site) The cabin sleeps 3 and you can also bring a tent as well.. Please note this is rustic accommodation and the cabin doesn’t have 240v power only 12v LED lighting and an esky is also provided. Located just 5 mins to local reservoir which is a great place to swim, fish or paddle. We stayed at an unpowered site. Bit tight on space with our large tent setup and annex but the managers were very helpful in allowing us to park our car elsewhere. Clean and neat facilities and being next to the botanical gardens was a plus. Kids enjoyed the facilities and being a long weekend, us adults enoyed the special coffee and cocktail van. Would recommend

Paul’s property and hospitality is fantastic! Located close to the main town but still maintains the feeling of being in the bush. Hot showers, toilets, and BBQ facilities on site. We stayed on a rainy night and Paul had a fire started and ready for us to go. Cannot recommend this place enough, will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Redbank156. We were a group of 9 with 5 tents and had an abundance of space on our site to spread ourselves around. There were amazing landcape views from our every direction and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset each night. Crystal provided campfire wood ($30 per bundle) with an option to supply more with just message/phone call. Very peaceful campsite. Highly recommend for any family or group of friends to stay.

Fantastic setup for large groups, fully equiped kitchen, great BBQ area, interior of the hall looks freshly painted, plenty of trestle tables and chairs provided to set up however you like. Kids playground and a large oval, we kicked a footy around, had a hole in one chipping comp and a treasure hunt for the kiddies in the treed area around the oval.

Weekend Trip to Lalgambook Retreat

We loved the waterfront campsite at Lalgambook Retreat! The view across the water is beautiful and we loved daydreaming out on the little jetty. The bathroom facilities make the camping feel luxurious, while still secluded in nature – the best of everything. We saw lots of wallabies and had a kookaburra spend an afternoon at our campsite with us. The sounds of frogs at night and birds in the mornings made for peaceful sleeps, far away from it all. We had planned on going for walks in the local area but the property is so big and brimming with stunning bushland that we didn't need to leave the whole weekend. The artistic metalwork around the property including seating arrangement overlooking the water and fire pit are a really nice touch. David and Karen are kind and welcoming hosts. We feel very lucky to have discovered this gem near Daylesford and are grateful to them for having us stay. We would love to stay again one day and even stop by Hepburn Bathhouse, just down the road, on the way in next time.
