The peace and tranquillity just sitting back and listening to the water in the creek was really good. We were a little disappointed that we was there for 3 nights and never met the owners

We were lucky enough to stay here for 11 nights over school holidays and Easter, although we're retired. It was so peaceful and we had so much space between camps. Parked close to the river and very private. Fire every night in the provided receptacle. Need to be fully self contained, but we are. We used it as a base, taking day trips in the north west, with a "rest" day a couple of times. Close to Wynyard and Burnie for shopping, water, fuel. Aaron dropped in for a chat a couple of times. We found them very easy to deal with via Hipcamps. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

We all enjoyed the location and seeing the animals (2A 2C). Steve was lovely. If we find ourselves that way again we will definitely stay!

An an absolutely amazing property with amazing views , the location is perfect woth lots to do around the area and close to town for supplies Aaron and Amanda are best and most friendliness hosts I have came across who took time to make us welcome and made the kids day Easter morning with a visit from Easter bunny with eggs .This is our second visit and have already booked out next one and can’t wait

We loved Crayfish Creek. We stayed at a powered site near the amenities block, which was really suitable with young kids. It was such a luxury to have hot showers as well! We stayed for 4 nights in this safe and beautiful location to be in - our family loved it. There are many little tracks around the place to explore, as well as the picturesque bush, creek and beach.

Great location to explore the surrounding area. Lush gardens with spaced out sites. Lovely to walk from the park out to the ocean at low tide. Dated but well functioning amenities including washers and dryers. Bring 20 cent and dollar coins for showers, washers and dryers.

We absolutely loved camping here. It's a beautiful and quiet spot with a lovely view. A lot of love and thought has been put into this property. It has a great play area set up for kids and my boys loved it, we ended up extending our trip. My husband loved the mountain bike track too and took the kids on a few laps. Aaron and Amanda were really helpful and friendly, and even had the Easter Bunny visit. A great base to explore the area. Can't recommend it highly enough and we will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Leven River Camping On Wattle Farm

We were unsure if we were in the right spot because the directions said there were two entrances but there was only one. Maybe a Wattle Farm sign on the gate would be helpful as nobody met us there and we didn't see anyone in the two nights we stayed. Also unless you want to walk down to the sandy area there isn't alot of river access for fishing. Other than that we loved our stay here . Peaceful even with the occasional car passing. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves both nights. We will come back in summer.

We were lucky and had the whole place to ourselves. Fire pit was great, bought our own firewood. River access was fairly easy and even though I didn’t catch anything, it was very relaxing. Extremely easy to get our caravan into a good spot.

Peaceful site by the river. Be aware that there is a neighboring property who allow family to camp on their site so you may not be as secluded as you want and there is a road quite close. Neither of these things bothered us but if you are sensitive to such things it is something to be aware of. We would happily camp there again. Andrew was very welcoming.

It is great to see improvements made from last year, play ground, bush walks. Had a wonderful time, a great spot to use as a 'base' to explore the surroundings of the north west of Tasmania. A Big 👍🏿 to Aaron and Amanda for this amazing little hideaway.

What a lovely park, felt like a bush camp but with all the facilities! Lots of wildlife of a night and a great place to camp and explore The Nut, Arthur River, The Arch and Tarkine Way. Loved it!

Inglis River Caravan and Camping Retreat is tucked away beside the Inglis River, 6mins from Wynyard or 30mins from Burnie. It is a secluded hideaway from the world with locked gate access. The property has cleared land, is partially forested and is located on a bend in the Inglis river. The property is home to wildlife including wallabies, wild ducks and fresh water lobster. We also have a few cows and goats on the property that love being fed a bit of bread 🐮 Apples are provided as well subject to availability. The animals will be your new best friend 😉 Kick back and relax around the campfire or take a swim in one of the many swimming holes, go Kayaking, fishing, walking, or mountain biking on our pretty cool down hill 400m thrill seeking track. Do you like Tasmanian Tigers? We have 10 located around the property. See how many your children can find 🥰 There is 15 acres to explore 🙌🏻 Plenty to keep the family entertained! It’s only a 6min drive into the Wynyard township to stock up on supplies grab a nice coffee or meal at one of the local cafes. You could check out the award winning Wonders of Wynyard Information Centre, the Veteran Car Display and Art Gallery, the gorgeous walks and scenic drive to Table Cape Lighthouse, Fossil Bluff or Boat Harbour Beach. The Wynyard Foreshore Market is also on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month along the East Wynyard Foreshore. It’s definitely worth a look 👀 Feeling adventurous and want to explore? The Stanley Nut is only a 40minute drive west. You could also check out Dip falls, The Big Tree or The Trowutta Arch. Love horses or want to learn how to ride? We grow and process organic certified medicinal herbs and plants. The camping site is located in a beautiful location overlooking the lavender fields, in bloom december/january, with the ever-changing Mt Roland in the background. On days with cold southerly winds, alternative campingsites are available on the farm. Please contact us to find out. Includes use flushing toilet, hot shower and laundry (external access). Approx. 300m from the campsite. We are pet friendly. We've got room for up to 5 separate bookings. Due to shortage of personnel, we can no longer offer the farm tours. Hope this will change coming season 2024/25. But hipcampers are welcome to have a walk on the farm. We are working together with other organic certified farmers. They lease parts of our land to grow vegetables. Hipcampers are welcome to have a walk around their crops as well. Big news: we have started to build a tearoom with possibilities to organise herbal workshops and give education about growing and using medicinal herbs. . It will also have a shop and space to enjoy light refreshments, organic coffee, chocolate, juice and herbal tea. Extra bathroomfacilities will be available to our hipcampers only. Nestled in the heart of North West Tasmania with camping close to Cradle Mountain only a 35 minute picturesque drive, 15 min from Sheffield the town of Murals, 5 min to Lake Barrington perfect for swimming, rowing, water skiing, power boating and canoeing, 5 mins to Tasmazia with its model villages and endless mazes to occupy the kids along with many walks and natural Tasmanian attractions close by. For those wanting to spread out, prefer privacy or are traveling in groups we encourage you to book our 4wd Plateau and 4wd Dispersed Sites which are open during the peak months depending on cattle movements. Our main campground has 10 sites and is accessible for standard cars. The main campground has level grassed campsites measuring 6m in width and 19m in length (Sites 2 - 10) Campsite 1 is the larger site and measures 10m in width and 19m in length and sits seperate to the other sites. Price advertised is per site, per night for 2 people. Campfires permitted in designated area within the main campground only and when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood is provided.
