Nice peaceful location. Camped near flowing river and found a spot to have a swim & we seen two platypus aswell.
We were a bit confused where to go but the host came out and was very friendly and gave us directions.

Location was lovely and close to main town.
However host did not greet on arrival as stated. Our friends wait 45mins at house due to not knowing which way to drive as there was no signs down to river flats.
No firewood/firepits provided either had to get a friend to run some out. Notice burn spots in ground. We brought own firepot.
Add some signs for directions for first timers and remove host to greet, along with firewood provided and it’s a lovely spot.

Our family absolutely adored our stay! 👨👩👧👦 The kids had a blast playing in the creek. 🏞️ We loved the peace and quiet, and how remote it felt, yet still close enough to town for anything we needed. 🏘️ The views and landscape were lovely, even with the long, dry grass. 🌾 We even spotted a platypus! 🦆 We had our own space, with just one other group down the other end, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. 🏕️ We'll definitely be booking again – it's a great base for day trips! 🚗 #Family #Stay #Creek #Peace #Views #Platypus #Camping #Trips

The peace and tranquillity. Signage would of been good . Personal contact with owner would have been good. Apart from that great place to camp.

What an ideal place to recharge and get your bearings after the ferry. 10 minutes to Ulverstone and the most picturesque little field. Highly recommend

I know it's a farm they could of slashed the grass it was way to long for camping and there was runny cow shit every where other from that it wasn't to bad not in a hurry to go back

We loved this beautiful spot! The kids loved fishing and playing in the river. It was such a quiet and scenic place to stay for a few nights, and not far from many of the regions attractions.

It was our 2nd stay at candys farm. We really enjoy it as it’s quiet and feels remote but not far into town if you need anything. Lots of large grassy areas and a river to cool off in. We didn’t catch any fish but did catch quite a large eel. We will definitely be back

Lovely quiet spot. You feel like you're well away from civilization, but are only 10 minutes from Ulverstone.

We really enjoyed camping at Candys place. The river flats were beautiful and it was very peaceful. Plenty of space for campers to spread out but still have river frontage for each camp.

Easy access and very close to Ulverstone, although you wouldn't know it from your riverside camp.
Our camp-site was only metres from the river and completely hidden from the outside world.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet there, and were on our own. All we could hear is the creek, the crickets and the wind in the tall gum tree. It is a great spot to get away, and is only ten minutes out of Ulverstone. Candy was very helpful and welcoming.

Great spot to camp for the night! Parked up next to the river and saw plenty of wildlife, hosts were kind and accommodating.
