We also offer a 5m lotus belle stargazer tent, situated at the very top of the property, nestled amongst the native trees and with water views, it has a luxurious queen-sized bed with beautiful linens and is a short walk away from the walking tracks to the beach. All guests have access to our well-maintained composting toilet with water views and a beautiful hot outdoor shower that is open to the sky. Next door is a large sheep property, and on our land we have friendly chooks, peacocks, Guinea pigs, miniature goats, horses and a border collie. The Duck Hole at Farnese Olivo

A tradition we maintain today with having a sustainable orchard with just over 100 trees. Seasonal Fresh produce is available to purchase. We are home to friendly hand reared heritage british sheep (they love cuddles and food!), Ducks (Wild and Pet) and Chickens. Overlooking the historic dam there is a shared fire pit with firewood supplied complimentary. We ask that on days of total fire ban, this is respected. We can only accept self-contained campers, so you will need to have your own camp toilet or use the cassette toilet provided. There is a dump point within 6km, located in Cambridge Park for those with their own toilet. Public toilet and showers are located close by at Seven Mile Beach and Roches Beach (both about 5 mins drive) Some minor leveling may be required. The sheep pen and duck hole sites are pretty much flat. The coal valley and ash sites require minor levelling. As we have farm animals, you will get to hear our sheep and ducks enjoying their environment. However, it is very quiet of an evening/night. We love meeting new people and are passionate about our property we can’t wait to share it with you and your family!

The location is central and close to a number of activities and events. The area is known for amazing bushwalking, kayaking and all types of nature based activities. We are also close to annual shows and events such as Taste of Huon and the Cygnet Folk Festival. Lots of local markets, music venues and Farmgate sales, each weekend. Try the delicious local fruit, vegetables and seafood/ meat....add some fresh herbs and seasonal produce from the abundant organic garden. Onsite we have kayaks and bikes for campers to use(deposit required). Located in Ranelagh, 2 mins from Huonville, 45 mins from Hobart, 20 mins from Cygnet, 10 mins from Franklin. Your hosts offer a beautiful paddock and yard in the amazing Huon Valley. We are a small farm with animals and gardens on the edge of residential convenience. Pets are welcome as are campfires in the designated fire pit.

A private spot just for you, perfect retreat just 50 minutes south of Hobart. Pop up your tent or caravan by the rustic pickers hut shelter, on a private paddock within our farm, located right near the Huon River and just a stone's throw from Cygnet. We offer a private space for just one group at a time. Happy to accommodate larger groups if required. Please contact me if you are needing a larger family/friends group. You'll discover 100 acres to walk, close encounters with sheep and cattle, and no doubt our Tilly dog will visit for a hello and a pat. Hence, we have additional electric fences if animals are close to the camping area. Take in a great therapeutic cool morning swim in the river, and beach combing along the driftwood shore is fun to do. Our dusk and night skies in the valley are truly magic. Watch the colours on the hills, mountains, and water change in front of your eyes, so pour a local wine, plate up a Grazing platter or Farmers Breakie basket and seat yourself on a good stump or camp chair and enjoy. (or platters and baskets are subject to availability and ordered in advance) Choices for day trips and activities are boundless as in all directions you can visit many National Parks, waterfalls, beach coasts, and rivers. We offer a pickers hut rustic shelter, camp toilet, picnic table, and bench along with a fire pit. (to be used in respect to fire bans). Firewood is available to purchase in advance. Please remember to bring your own fresh water to drink. We're animal-friendly, so bring along your four-legged friend so long as they're controlled, and on a lead at night. We have a Leave No Trace policy, so please ensure you leave the camp as clean and tidy as you found it, taking all rubbish with you. Relax in the beautiful peaceful setting of Meluklerdee country. Enjoy the ambiance amongst the Cygnet hills and beside the Huon river. A perfect destination in the Huon Valley to stay, wander and discover the many fabulous hidden local gems.

Beautiful 8 acre property situated on the edge of the Craigbourne Dam, 2 minutes from the township of Colebrook and 50 minutes from the Hobart CBD. Our property offers are great getaway experience for any traveller. The Craigbourne Dam is a all year round recreational fishing ground and stocks many species of fish i.e. Atlantic Salmon, Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout to name a few. Our property is a pet friendly park but we do ask all patrons to be considerate of the surrounding farmland and live stock . As we are a fully self contained campground we do not provide power, toilets or showers. You'll need to have your own amenities and discard of any rubbish . Limit phone coverage but still enough to call/text Contained campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood for sale for a small fee (see Extras). Fickle Break Farm

Fickle Break Farm is a 28-acre coastal property on the doorstep of a world-class surf break, only 30 mins from Hobart. You can walk out the door with your surfboard, bike, or running shoes and jump in the ocean or onto several beautiful coastal walking and riding trails. We are 10 minutes away from Lauderdale shops and 10 mins to the best surf beaches in Hobart on the South Arm Peninsula. Pitch your tent or park your set up on our beautiful grassy hilltop campsite overlooking the South Arm Peninsula and Mt Wellington in the distance. You'll enjoy good access to Mays Point surf break and the Clarence Coastal Trail just a few mins away with walking tracks to Cremorne and Lauderdale along the coast. The camping area has a communal fire pit, access to fresh water and power in our large shed if needed, and a table tennis table. We are on tank water, so please be mindful of this. And please drive slowly and be mindful of treading lightly on the land. We also offer a 5m lotus belle stargazer tent, situated at the very top of the property, nestled amongst the native trees and with water views, it has a luxurious queen-sized bed with beautiful linens and is a short walk away from the walking tracks to the beach. All guests have access to our well-maintained composting toilet with water views and a beautiful hot outdoor shower that is open to the sky. Next door is a large sheep property, and on our land we have friendly chooks, peacocks, Guinea pigs, miniature goats, horses and a border collie. Guests and children are welcome to pat, feed and cuddle the chooks, Guinea pigs, horses and the miniature goats! Dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly with other dogs and people, and can be trusted not to escape to the next-door sheep property (beware as farmers can be ruthless with dogs!). They will need to be supervised and restrained (tied up or placed in our closed-in yard at night so they don’t disturb wallabies and other wildlife). We love meeting new people and are passionate about our beautiful property so we can’t wait to share it with you!
