Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. The rural roads are lovely for an early or late evening walk on. We rent out a fully contained studio as well which is seperate and inside the farm fencing only for booked guests. The farm is within a 7 min drive of two IGAs. Plus very close to all the wineries (10 km approx) and it’s delicious food! It’s also the same distance to nearby Bjelke Peterson Dam for water skiing and water sports. Wondai has some gorgeous shops including a wellness shop with a magnesium float tank, antique shops, and the likes. There is a dairy museum in Murgon. A dinosaur and fossil museum called 55 Million Year Old Museum in Murgon too. Also a visit to the Ration Shed Museum in the Indigenous and alcohol free community of Cherbourg is very educational and really worth a visit and only 10 mins away. It has beautiful indigenous pottery and art too. Boat Mountain is nearby and has spectacular views and is a beautiful walk with lots of Koalas. The area I believe, is a hidden secret and has a sacred feel. Come and experience it for yourself.

Our property is located an hour from Toowoomba, 15min Dalby, 5min Kaimkillenbun (The Bun), has stunning views to the Bunya Mountains from all campsites. All Sites have views of the Bunya Mountains. The other sites are in elevated positions, that look down the valley towards the Bunya Mountains. The town of Kaimkillenbun (6 km) is known by locals as 'The Bun' easy driving distance to the "Bun Pub" which was built in 1912 and is a great spot to visit for a drink/meal if you are coming to the area. We are 30 minutes' drive, from the Bunya Mountains National Park which has a variety of different hiking/cycling trails which include lookouts and waterfalls. Campfires are allowed, permitting there are no restrictions in place. Campers must be self sufficient, bring their own toilet and take all waste with them on departure.

This 10 acre property is located on the banks of Taromeo Creek, a quiet and peaceful camping location with great birdwatching. Taromeo Creek is a seasonal creek and is sometimes dry and sometimes flowing. When the water is flowing there are a number of water holes along the creek. Close to the local town of Blackbutt and only one and a half hours drive north west of Brisbane. Also close to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail which offers 162kms of recreational trail for you to hike, bike or horse ride; with a local golf course nearby. Mount Binga National Park is close by which has areas to ride and hike. The annual Avocado festival which runs on the second weekend in September is always a popular time to visit. Choose from ONLY TWO campsites on 83 acres rural property. Both spacious campsites are well separated and not visible from each other. To enhance privacy, we take only one booking / group per campsite, therefore you're likely to have the property to yourselves. You'll enjoy peace, nature, amazing views, stunning sunsets, big starry skies, misty valley mornings amidst lovely countryside, farmland and the Aussie bush. Relax under the shade of the trees, warm yourself by the campfire, or go walking or mountain biking on our farm. Each campsite has its own rock firepit, and firewood is available (quality split ironbark firewood available in 'extras'). Wildlife often seen on the property, and there's currently no livestock in the paddocks. Pet friendly, family friendly, a quiet retreat for couples / singles, or group bookings available. Old Peppertree campsite is an elevated campsite that has all weather access and is suitable for 2wd and 4wd vehicles and all RV's and tents. Bush Camp campsite is further down the back of the property, nearer the bush, downhill, and is suitable for 4wd / SUV vehicles and off-road / higher clearance RV's and tents. However access is fairly easy and this is only a recommendation. Coobindah is just under 2 hours from Brisbane and is located on the Great Dividing Range. It boasts crisp mountain air and glorious views from the hills. Nearby attractions: Lake Cooby (Cooby Dam) is just 3 mins down the road; fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, bush walking, picnic area and playground. The renowned Meringandan Pub 5 mins. Highfields 8 mins for shops, cafes, restaurants; Chocolate Cottage, Tavern, Monty Brewery (pet friendly), Pioneer Village and Highfields Falls. Rosalie House winery, restaurant 10 mins. Our property is located an hour from Toowoomba, 15min Dalby, 5min Kaimkillenbun (The Bun), has stunning views to the Bunya Mountains from all campsites. All Sites have views of the Bunya Mountains. Easy access sites, for short/long stays. We also have a campsite near the dam, which is full after good rains. The other sites are in elevated positions, that look down the valley towards the Bunya Mountains. The town of Kaimkillenbun (6 km) is known by locals as 'The Bun' easy driving distance to the "Bun Pub" which was built in 1912 and is a great spot to visit for a drink/meal if you are coming to the area. We are 30 minutes' drive, from the Bunya Mountains National Park which has a variety of different hiking/cycling trails which include lookouts and waterfalls. Campfires are allowed, permitting there are no restrictions in place. Campers must be self sufficient, bring their own toilet and take all waste with them on departure.

This 10 acre property is located on the banks of Taromeo Creek, a quiet and peaceful camping location with great birdwatching. Taromeo Creek is a seasonal creek and is sometimes dry and sometimes flowing. When the water is flowing there are a number of water holes along the creek. Close to the local town of Blackbutt and only one and a half hours drive north west of Brisbane. Also close to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail which offers 162kms of recreational trail for you to hike, bike or horse ride; with a local golf course nearby. Mount Binga National Park is close by which has areas to ride and hike. The annual Avocado festival which runs on the second weekend in September is always a popular time to visit. Our campsites vary and are spread across our 86 acres to give you as much privacy as possible. Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure, Campfires are permitted in the fire pits provided. Pets are welcome but must be kept under owners control.

Fronts New England Highway just 15kms north of Crows Nest, Queensland on main road to Yarraman. Generally open area with some trees at rear of paddock. Natural open grass based paddock with natural surface. Wonderful open sky for viewing stars away from lights. Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pure and simple bush camping! Half hour from Kingaroy, Ballogie Bush Camp is a great option for groups, large and small looking for an Aussie campout. With 44 acres of bush property, interspersed with clearings, we've got plenty of space, from couples looking for a quite bush getaway to large groups enjoying their annual retreat! If we have multiple bookings at the one time, you are still guaranteed privacy. We don't have any facilities, so campers need to be self-contained with their own toilet, however, we can arrange hire toilets for groups. We've hosted many group events here in the past, from bush weddings to annual club gatherings. As well as the camping space, we offer camp oven catering near our Big Top shelter, mastered by Australian champion cooks. Nothing more Aussie than tender meat and veg cooked in the coals, surrounded by eucalypts! The property is all-weather access, with plenty of turning spaces for big rigs. When you arrive, you can choose your campsite, or we can advise the best spots for you. Set up camp along the creek and dam, find a clearing in the bush, or you can cross the seasonal creek and park/pitch in a large, open grassed area. While the creek is only running when we've had rain, the dam has water all year round, and on a hot day, you can go for a dip or a kayak, and maybe even catch some red claw! Pets are welcome, from dogs to horses. We allow campfires, and can provide additional firewood for a charge - see extras. A gel blaster range is being set up - more to come on this!

The views were absolutely incredible! Despite the campground being fully booked, it was wonderfully quiet the entire time. The hosts were lovely and incredibly welcoming; they checked in to make sure we had everything we needed but also gave us plenty of space to enjoy our stay. Imbil is such a lovely little town and super close for a little outing too. We were hoping for a peaceful, relaxing weekend surrounded by beautiful scenery, and that’s exactly what we got.

Absolutely stunning. The property is beautiful, well maintained in a stunning part of the world. The campsites are well spaced out which means it feels quite private and is very peaceful. The river is beautiful. Great for a dip and a kayak. The free kayaks were amazing. A great way to spend some time slowly seeing the area. Dog friendly which is great. Lots of nice walks in the property including a view point We can’t wait to go back. Definitely go and check it out. Brian is super lovely and showed us to our site.

Lovely idyllic country scenes all around. Campsites spread along Yabba Creek, thoughtfully spread out so that everyone has space and privacy. Kayaks available for a fun paddle along the creek, which is nice and clear - we saw plenty of fish. Amazing view of the region after a short walk up a ridge. Also an amazing old fig tree to see a short walk into forestry from the campsites, and a grand old kauri pine a bit further into the forest. Brian is friendly and relaxed host, guiding campers to the sites and checking in after your set up to make sure you're ok. A really lovely spot for a relaxing time in the countryside. Plenty of birdlife for the birdwatchers too.
