Also if you are making a booking for more than five people, you'll need to do two bookings, so that we don't end up overcrowded. Thank you. Self sufficient campers are preferred. If you are looking to get away, put your feet up, switch off and recharge, then this is your perfect spot to enjoy the serenity of farm life with the added mountain views. We have potable bore water, electricity connection, picnic table and bench and firepit. We have two powered caravan sites that can also double up as tent sites. Ideally you should be self sufficient. Our bore has a solar pump that is rigged up to the water tank at the camp kitchen. Please turn the tap off once you have finished filling up your containers or caravan tanks. Bore water is potable, so can be used for cooking, cleaning, pets, etc. Any cooking implements and tools that you might need during your stay can be provided at request. Dogs are welcome, just please be mindful of our free ranging chickens, which are generally located at the top of the farm, near the big new shed. We have a calf and mini goats that you are welcome to help us feed. We are also looking at providing yoga, tai chi and meditation classes in the near future and are also setting up more sites at the back of the property as well as providing access to the creek in the summer. Please ensure that you are mindful of our neighbours, no loud noises between 9pm and 7am and kindly clean up after yourselves and take your rubbish with you, as we don't have garbage collection at the property. Nanango has a lovely vibe. It's Queensland's oldest and friendliest town. There are great playgrounds, swimming pool and cart racing in town, which is only about 10 minutes away from the farm. Kingaroy is about half an hour away. There is a great off roading spot in the forest that is literally up the road from us. According to previous campers it's perfect for beginners. Weekend Trip to Bunya Red Farm
Mandy and Alan were very welcoming. They greeted us on arrival, gave us the lay of the land and the rundown on the amenities. About 4ish, Alan came dosn and rounded up the 4 kids and whisked them off into the next yard to feed the alpacas. Unfortunately we got rained out and couldn't stay the planned two nights, but the kids had a ball mucking about in the rain and chasing the frogs about. The amenities are fantastic - best campground shower I've ever had. The kitchen area is well-configured and we found anything we hsd forgotten to pack was probably in there. I'm definitely keen to stay again, hopefully during some cooler and more predictable weather.

Loved our week at Windyridge creekside camp! Hosts were great, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Had the beautifully maintained site to ourselves. Had access to lovely waterhole and creek for a refreshing dip! The beautiful trees give awesome shade. Saw Wallabies and galahs morning and evenings, and so many beautiful birdsongs to wake up to! Purchased some eggs from the hosts which were delicious too! There is a dirt road that runs along the property with a small amount of vehicles passing by but didn’t bother us. We would love to come back again. Thanks Kelly

Bunya Red Farm was really fantastic! The caper farm tour was very interesting (and delicious) and feeding the alpacas was a highlight. The grounds were so picturesque with farmland views in all directions. We loved the star-filled night sky and serenity of the place. Mandy and Allen were incredible hosts. Would recommend a stay in a heartbeat.

We had the best time at Bunya Red Farm! Mandy and Allan were so accommodating. The facilities are great with a huge camp kitchen and eating area and two clean bathrooms. The hosted walks Allan did each day were perfect and then getting to feed the alpaca’s was a highlight. We will be back for sure!!

We had the most wonderful experience at Bunya Red Farm! From the moment we arrived, Mandy and Alan made us feel completely at home. They’re warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about creating a peaceful, family-friendly space — truly excellent hosts. Our 6-year-old was in heaven climbing the big tree near the campsite — it quickly became the highlight of the trip! Alan’s farm tours were a great — informative, engaging, and an absolute laugh! His stories made the whole experience unforgettable! The amenities were fantastic: clean, thoughtfully maintained, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved our stay at Windyridge! It was great for us as a family to unwind, have the space to ourselves, and be able to bring our dog along, without having to worry about other campers. The creek was great for the kids to explore and skip stones, but behind a fence so we didn't have to worry about the dog disappearing to do her own exploring. We loved the setup, with the park bench and large firepit, and there was plenty of space for everything. The road is closer and busier than we anticipated (as there are a lot of campers on adjacent properties), but it's easy enough to set up camp so that you can block this out and still have a bit of privacy.

Absolutely loved our trip to Windyridge, awesome camping spot on a fully fenced, immaculately maintained paddock, right next to the creek; and all to ourselves. So peaceful and relaxing, the perfect place to take our recently re-homed dog for her first camping trip. She had an absolute ball, and we could relax and unwind in the comfort of knowing she was safe and contained by the fully fenced perimeter, whilst having the freedom of being off lead. Windyridge is our favourite Hipcamp by far, and highly recommend to all, especially those with dogs. Hosts are fantastic, great communication and very welcoming to their property. Thanks so much Kelly and husband for sharing your little piece of paradise, we will definitely be back!!

If you are looking for peace and quiet, 360 views with welcoming hosts and a good hot shower camp here. Also got to taste their renowned capers, caperberries and an upgrade on Branston pickle. Cows were nursing, the alpacas were shy and the Guinea fowl were keeping an eye on everyone. Hopefully we get a chance to stay again sometime.

Weekend Trip to TIMBER MILL STATION
The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful so many gorgeous birds and the view of the stars is divine. We stayed in the converted shed which was fantastic (and super clean and tidy!) however great amenities available for campers too! The lovely caretakers Tony and Carole was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. This property would be ideal for a celebration due to the huge shed and stage setup - very cool!

Weekend Trip to Windyridge Creekside Camp
We absolutely loved this campsite. Great for the kids and dogs with the open space, and the creek with walking trails. The site is immaculately maintained and a lovely spot to unwind. The hosts very welcoming but not at all invasive of your privacy. We have a dog that does not like the company of new dogs so it can be challenging to find campsites where neighbouring properties dogs don’t wander over, this site was great and whilst we could hear some dogs around we didn’t encounter any so our boy had a relaxing stay as well. Will definitely be a camp we’d love to return to.

Our property is located on the site of the First Kilkivan Township and was home to a gold rush in 1868 where a 73 oz nugget was discovered. Guests will have access to a portable toilet and fire pit throughout their stay. Gold is still found in and around the creek with fossicking permitted at an extra daily rate of $25 per person. As this is private property we require that all the QLD Fossicking Act rules and regulations are followed this includes having your own permit which must be supplied before fossicking is permitted. These rules include no machinery or pump operated sluices such as high banking sluices. Detectors are welcome and some great finds have been found with them including gold and coins from the 1860’s. Large groups are welcome. There are many great shaded camping spots along the creek or a large open area of about 50 acres for larger groups. There is also a year round swimming hole fed by a solar bore on the property for anyone wanting to cool down. Kids under 12 are free but if fossicking must be covered by a permit. Pets are welcome. Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

We have 69 acres within the Barambah Wine Trail (which is located in Moffatdale, near Murgon, QLD). Our property backs onto the Bjelke Petersen Dam. Our property offers direct access to Lake Barambah from your large grassy campsite. You can enjoy uninterrupted views of the lake while relaxing around your camp fire. The lake itself is wide and deep, and safe for swimming (properly supervised) and all your favourite water activities. There is also basic access to launch small boats. Dusty Hill Wines is just down the road and offers local wine tasting and some great meals in their restaurant. There are also some other wineries in the area you can explore and enjoy. If you want to get your heart rate up, we are 25 minutes from Kinombi Falls where you can enjoy a number of stairs to get to the top.
