Fresh farm eggs can be bought if available at the time. This farm has been used as a working farm for around 40 years. This area is where the government planned a dam so generally we have water in the creeks. Most of the camp sites border the creek and all are designed to take caravans. The house was the original Amamoor Head Ranger, Forestry division, home which was cut in two and relocated from town up to the top of our hill. From here during the bush fire season you can see fires from Widgee, Kilcoy or the Sunshine Coast. We run on solar and rain water for everything in the house and creek or dam water for our orchards and gardens. We run a variety of animals and several small orchards as well. Our creek runs into another near this causeway which leads to lots of water in a short time where it sounds like you are living on a beach. Always check with us beforehand if there has been heavy rain and there are several creeks in this area which leads to a rapid build up of water in a short time over many of the causeways out here. When there is water around, the creek will have lots of little fish and a large variety of frogs, some very weird looking ones to study. While there are many animals on the farm, there are also wild animals who use it as their home and refuge so your pets must be kept safe with you at night. Swimming pool on the farm can be used if requested through booking.

Tranquil rainforest camping along the majestic Amamoor Creek, relax in the forest and get back to nature. This is a lovely easy access campsite, enjoy the rainforest and flowing creek. You are surrounded by thousands of hectares of State Forest to enjoy mountain bike riding, bushwalking, birdwatching as well as plenty of trails for motorbikes and 4WDs. I work as a forester in the surrounding Amamoor and Imbil State Forests, so I have plenty of advice on where to go and what to do. I run some cattle on my property, but the majority of my land is for conservation and land for wildlife. Dogs are welcome. We have cattle so dogs must be well controlled and not bark or chase cattle or wildlife. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, firewood available to buy. Access is for 4WD. Suitable for 4WD caravans, tents, swags, camper trailers. etc.
