The campsites are nestled in the groves of trees next to the creek. There's some great swimming spots, or you can go for a bushwalk and do a spot of fossicking on the water's edge.
Some parts of our property are 4WD access only, but we also have good camping spots that can accommodate 2WDs.

The rainforest Treehouse is situated in a rainforest pocket of the Mount Warning Caldera, completely surrounded by lush and vibrant nature and sheltered from the outside world, while being just 2 minutes away from us and the comfy road that will take you to an amazing swimming hole, cafés and the nearby town.
Once you enter the Treehouse private drive you will feel yourself being transported into a magical world of gently flowing water, natural light, tall trees, chirping birds, rustling leaves, crickets, and frogs.
You will notice the energy shift into the safe embrace of our land, protected by Springbrook Mountain.
The location of the Treehouse was chosen by our then young children. We all fell in love with the magnificent camphor laurel tree growing at the edge of the seasonal creek.
We all found ourselves drawn to that place, so with the help of our friends and our children we began the project of manifesting a dream into a reality - the dream of living in the tree canopy.
As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot.
It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world.
Now it is here for you to enjoy, to reconnect with your dreams, to dive deep into your childhood playful memories where the world of fantasy and reality merge together.

She has found the perfect spot for you so you can immerse yourself in nature in the shade of lovely trees, taking flight with the eagles above Springbrook Mountain, lifting up and rejoicing life. The vibrant tantric red colour of the cabin will fill you up with new energy and freshness. it is supplied with clean, luxurious linen and towels. The daring bathroom allows you to bask in a bubble bath while enjoying your favourite beverage watching the stars. That beautiful experience will be enhance by the symphony of the surrounding nature.
The cooking and dining area is set up for your highest comfort and equipped with everything you need.

Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot!
The Stonesthrow Bush Camping sites are close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property. These sites have access to facilities - toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Some sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. THESE ARE THE ONLY SITES THAT CARAVANS CAN ACCESS.
The Stonesthrow Elevated sites are located higher up, with stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites.
Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather-dependent.
We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top.

We have converted a container into a tiny home overlooking our gardens. Relax and unwind by the outdoor fireplace by night while you enjoy the sunset views over the hills. We are close to shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, creeks and parks. It is only a short drive to Pottsville town. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern Rivers. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like some recommendations.
The container has been converted into a tiny livable space with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, air conditioner, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (towels and linen are an added extra), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and bbq area.
You may like to meet our pet ducks or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. Spa treatments, yoga, bushwalking and water activities are all close by. Unfortunately our goats are currently doing weed maintenance on a nearby property and may not be here for your booking.
If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting.

As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot.
It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world.

Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot!
The Stonesthrow Bush Camping sites are close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property. These sites have access to facilities - toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Some sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. THESE ARE THE ONLY SITES THAT CARAVANS CAN ACCESS.
The Stonesthrow Elevated sites are located higher up, with stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites.
Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather-dependent.
We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top.

Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, air conditioner, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (towels and linen are an added extra), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and bbq area.
You may like to meet our pet ducks or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. Spa treatments, yoga, bushwalking and water activities are all close by. Unfortunately our goats are currently doing weed maintenance on a nearby property and may not be here for your booking.
If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting.

Chowans Rest is a flat meadow, easily accessible to any vehicle and caravans, ideal for all campers looking for a safe and peaceful base to explore this fantastic region.
The camping area is quite private, and around 400 meters from the main house and nearest neighbours. It is adjacent to forested areas, including Mt Chowan and Nullum State Forest, so have a lovely green outlook.
Chowans Rest is very conveniently located - It is just 5-10 minutes easy cycling from the Northern Rivers Rail Trail, so an ideal spot for keen cyclists. It's also a 40 minute drive from Byron Bay, 30 minute drive from Northern Rivers beaches and southern Gold Coast beaches, a 10-minute drive to Wollumbin (Mt Warning) National Park and the historical village of Uki. There is also a 40-minute scenic drive to the township of Nimbin, along with several beautiful hiking trails nearby.

Malabar Farm is a working Beef and Equine property situated in walking distance (600 metres to the Hotel) from the idyllic village of Uki. Steep in farming history, was originally a part of the logging district and later operated as a dairy up until early 2001. The farm nestles in to the foothills of Uki and the Twin Sister Mountains. The southern boundary is 2 klm of Tweed River. 3 permanent creeks meander through the property providing an abundance of wild life and camp sites to dream of.
The long stretch of Tweed River frontage provides for fishing (bass aplenty), and canoeing. The equine training and breeding section of the farm is to be visited by appointment most days, and for safety reasons is not commonly accessible.
Petting of small animals is an optional extra for children and beginners, can also arrange a riding lesson in one of the 2 enclosed arenas, as another optional extra cost.

We had a few days at Stonesthrow Bush Camping, Canungra had everything - creek dips, the world’s friendliest donkeys, horses up on the top plateau, dogs able to live their best off-lead life, and sunrises/sunsets that made us slow right down.
Huge shoutout to the hosts - absolute legends. Warm, welcoming, and the kind of people who make you feel like you’ve been coming there for years.

We had a great time camping at Stonesthrow. Steve was quick to respond to questions we had and his arrival instructions and directions were excellent. We stayed at the TOS site and it suited our group well. The site was private and very relaxing and clean. We took a hike throughout the farm and enjoyed the challenge of walking to the Top Spot while seeing some other sites that we hope to stay at another time. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

Great shower ( hot and cold water) with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains! Not a solo site but other campers are well-spaced. Some passing traffic noise unfortunately. Leanne is warm, caring, friendly and quickly responds to messages. It was nice to meet her on arrival. Lovely spot with easy proximity to Springbrook Natural Bridge circuit and other amazing walks and reserves. Nearby Chillingham village and Tyalgum are worth a visit with the drives affording spectacular scenery everywhere!

We loved our stay over the weekend. Steve and Richard were very helpful. We had a great spot with a loveltly view, we explore the property on foot and we loved to met the horses and donkeys.
We would denifinely recomend and most likely to return in another oportunity. The nature and peace and quite moments were priceless.

Sarabah Creek Camping is honestly one of the most amazing spots we’ve stayed at. It’s so close to the Gold Coast, yet it feels completely peaceful and secluded.
The campground is beautiful, it was incredible to fall asleep to the sound of the water and the creek was so fresh to swim in. The site feels very private, the bathroom was clean and it was easy to access the campsite!!
You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the grounds and making sure guests have a great stay.
Sarabah Creek Camping is an absolute gem. We’ll definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Crystal Creek Rainforest Treehouse
Loved the Treehouse. The location is private and quiet with the creek running along side and the wildlife all around.
The place was extremely well looked after with every little detail considered.
The shower and toilet facilities were excellent and cooking was easy on the kitchenette and bbq as well as the firepit.
Aneta and Paul were great. And thought of everything.
Thank you for the great memories, we will be back.

We loved, loved, loved our weekend here! Plenty of space to set up well away from the one other campsite. We appreciated that the lawn was well-mown. It was very easy to slip into relax mode sitting outside soaking up the views of the creek and the grand old trees. Unfortunately, there wasn't quite enough water in the creek for swimming on this occasion. The stars at night were spectacular. Fantastic location across the road from the Rail Trail. We'd definitely stay here again.

Aneta & Paul were wonderful hosts. They have fabulously set up this little gem, tucked away in the delightful rainforest. Everywhere you position yourself you can feel nature takeover your senses. The little touches from Aneta & Paul, like the freshly picked roses in vases, the beautifully lined pathway with endless colour (Impatiens) & the dimly lit fairy lights throughout, all add to the experience. Relax on the deck, take a stroll by the creek bed or try a refreshing dip in the dam, either way, you are immersed in nature!! The drive to/from this destination was picturesque, with the Springbrook National Park/Numimbah Valley views not disappointing. The locally made bread sold at the Chillingham farm produce store is highly recommended, not to mention the Crystal Creek Nursery & Cafe - just perfect! A peek of the regional township of Murwillumbah, 20 minutes from the treehouse, should also be on your "to do" list. We plan to be back :-)
