This campsite is on a property in Wollumbin national park which is currently closed to outside visitors so you will get to enjoy the magic of the rainforest without the crowds. There is a creek running through the property which you can explore and is a 5 minute walk from the camp site.
You are welcome to climb to the top of the property if you are physically up for the challenge and take in breath taking views of both Mount warning up close and the surrounding area.
This is a private camp site with its own fire pit area. Mount warning is currently closed to the public to climb but there is plenty of creeks, a swimming hole close by and land to explore.
A 10 minute drive takes you to the quaint town of Uki and 25 minutes and you're in the country town of Murwillumbah. Please Note: This is 4WD access only.

Chowans Rest is a flat meadow, easily accessible to any vehicle and caravans, ideal for all campers looking for a safe and peaceful base to explore this fantastic region.
The camping area is quite private, and around 400 meters from the main house and nearest neighbours. It is adjacent to forested areas, including Mt Chowan and Nullum State Forest, so have a lovely green outlook.
Chowans Rest is very conveniently located - It is just 5-10 minutes easy cycling from the Northern Rivers Rail Trail, so an ideal spot for keen cyclists. This 6-acre property is located on the outskirts of the beautiful Burringbar Village. There are 4 campsites available, 2 are located in the creek paddock and 2 in the Orchard. All well distanced from each other. The propery is on a quiet country no-through road. Sites are all fairly level, best to bring levellers if you require it dead level;)
The village is an easy walk, ride, or drive away (just over 1 km).
Great location for camping and enjoying nature. Loads of birdlife and if you are lucky enough, you might get a glimpse of a platypus in the creek or Koalas as we have a Koala corridor on our property & also Wallabies.
The Northern Rivers Rail Trail is nearby and is great for walking and bike riding.
Wooyung and Pottsville Beaches are less than 15 minute's drive.
The townships of Murwillumbah and Brunswick Heads are also only 15 minute's drive away.
The village of Burringbar is only 30 minutes from Byron Bay and or the Gold Coast.

Very good communication from Scott throughout. Good location, walkable to town. Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there so didn’t get the benefit of outdoor camping (& the koalas must have taken shelter!)

This was the perfect camping spot for us. Totally private at the top of the hill, but close enough for us to walk to Cabarita shops and hotel, Woollies and bars, plus the Beach. Perfect spot!
So peaceful and quiet, especially as we were the only ones on the site.
Great ocean breezes amongst the trees.
Picnic table, chairs, swing and level pad for our caravan was great.
Plenty of bushwalking tracks too.
Will definitely be back!

We had a beautiful weekend at Selah! We had a large group of us but the mountain view site was super spacious and allowed us to spread out. We had the most amazing view of Mt Warning in the mornings with the clouds, it was perfect! The team really went all out to make our stay enjoyable, from feeding the cows to farm fresh eggs and swims in the creek, we’ll definitely be back!

This might just be one of the most beautiful Hipcamps we’ve ever stayed at. The creeks were stunning and perfect for a swim, and the sites tucked along the water with natural shade made it such a peaceful, relaxing spot. Lush green grass, loads of space, and not overcrowded at all. The toilets were spotless too. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back! 🌿✨

Secluded bush camp but so close to the beach. The Bowls Club is even closer 😉.
Abundant Birdlife including Spangled Drongos, Forest Kingfishers and Little Wattle birds. There is road noise during the day, as it's on the hill, but quiet overnight traffic-wise. Campfire pit provided with bench seating but not used this time due to nice temperature. Picnic table and swing are great creature comforts.

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, very well maintained, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. We stayed with 4 adults, one baby, and our dog, and everything was perfect for our group.
We absolutely loved the views and the overall vibe such a special place to relax and enjoy nature. Due to the hot weather, we asked to change from the mountain spot to the river, and they were more than happy to help and make it happen, which we really appreciated.
We truly had the time of our lives and will definitely be coming back many more times. Highly recommend!

Massive campsites, so you're not on top of one another, yes they are pricey and not for everyone, but worth it if you want the space, peace and quiet, the ground's are immaculate, and what's not to love camping beside a creek.

We had an amazing stay at Cabarita Beach Station! The site was beautifully maintained, quiet, and perfectly secluded. The fire pit was a highlight. The bush swing was a bonus, and the kids loved it. The location is unbeatable - a short walk to the beach and shops, but still feels remote and peaceful. Scott, the host, was super responsive and made our stay even better. We'll definitely be back!

This Property was one of the most pristine and well looked after properties! It definitely felt like a high end camping experience. We had the most relaxing weekend and the hosts were so great with help and communication.

It is the definition of ‘basic’ but we really enjoyed the peace and quiet at Terri’s property. It’s a good way up Mt Warning, so be prepared for changeable mountain weather. As you’d expect staying beside a national park, there’s ton of wild life, birds, and of course bugs. Bird song, sundown frog chorus and the background noise from crickets was all we heard over the weekend,
Terri’s communications with us were excellent. We found the property easily and Terri met us on arrival to take us to the campsite. The campsite itself was open, and clean, with plenty of space to park and move about. It’s on the side of a small hill so flat ground is limited but there was enough flat ground for our tent and kitchen
