The rainforest Treehouse is situated in a rainforest pocket of the Mount Warning Caldera, completely surrounded by lush and vibrant nature and sheltered from the outside world, while being just 2 minutes away from us and the comfy road that will take you to an amazing swimming hole, cafés and the nearby town.
Once you enter the Treehouse private drive you will feel yourself being transported into a magical world of gently flowing water, natural light, tall trees, chirping birds, rustling leaves, crickets, and frogs.
You will notice the energy shift into the safe embrace of our land, protected by Springbrook Mountain.
The location of the Treehouse was chosen by our then young children. We all fell in love with the magnificent camphor laurel tree growing at the edge of the seasonal creek.
We all found ourselves drawn to that place, so with the help of our friends and our children we began the project of manifesting a dream into a reality - the dream of living in the tree canopy.
As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot.
It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world.
Now it is here for you to enjoy, to reconnect with your dreams, to dive deep into your childhood playful memories where the world of fantasy and reality merge together.

The vibrant tantric red colour of the cabin will fill you up with new energy and freshness. it is supplied with clean, luxurious linen and towels. The daring bathroom allows you to bask in a bubble bath while enjoying your favourite beverage watching the stars. That beautiful experience will be enhance by the symphony of the surrounding nature.

Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot!
The Stonesthrow Bush Camping sites are close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property. These sites have access to facilities - toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Most sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. THESE ARE THE ONLY SITES THAT CARAVANS CAN ACCESS.
The Stonesthrow Elevated sites are located higher up, with stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites.
When submitting a booking request you MUST include the following information: Your vehicle make and model, camping setup (tent/swag/camper trailer/caravan etc), type of toilet and ensuite tent (if booking an Elevated site) and number of occupants (adults, children, dogs).
Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather-dependent.
We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top.
Due to insurance considerations, no 'day visitors' are allowed unless they have an approved Hipcamp booking.

We are close to shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, creeks and parks. It is only a short drive to Pottsville town. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern Rivers. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like some recommendations.
The container has been converted into a tiny livable space with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, air conditioner, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (towels and linen are an added extra), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and bbq area.
You may like to meet our pet ducks or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. Spa treatments, yoga, bushwalking and water activities are all close by. Unfortunately our goats are currently doing weed maintenance on a nearby property and may not be here for your booking.
If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting.

The location of the Treehouse was chosen by our then young children. We all fell in love with the magnificent camphor laurel tree growing at the edge of the seasonal creek.
We all found ourselves drawn to that place, so with the help of our friends and our children we began the project of manifesting a dream into a reality - the dream of living in the tree canopy.
As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot.
It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world.

Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot!
The Stonesthrow Bush Camping sites are close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property. These sites have access to facilities - toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Most sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. THESE ARE THE ONLY SITES THAT CARAVANS CAN ACCESS.
The Stonesthrow Elevated sites are located higher up, with stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites.
When submitting a booking request you MUST include the following information: Your vehicle make and model, camping setup (tent/swag/camper trailer/caravan etc), type of toilet and ensuite tent (if booking an Elevated site) and number of occupants (adults, children, dogs).
Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather-dependent.
We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top.

We are close to shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, creeks and parks. It is only a short drive to Pottsville town. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern Rivers. The container has been converted into a tiny livable space with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, air conditioner, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (towels and linen are an added extra), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and bbq area.
You may like to meet our pet ducks or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. Spa treatments, yoga, bushwalking and water activities are all close by. Unfortunately our goats are currently doing weed maintenance on a nearby property and may not be here for your booking.
If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting.

The camping area is quite private, and around 400 meters from the main house and nearest neighbours. It is adjacent to forested areas, including Mt Chowan and Nullum State Forest, so have a lovely green outlook.
Chowans Rest is very conveniently located - It is just 5-10 minutes easy cycling from the Northern Rivers Rail Trail, so an ideal spot for keen cyclists. It's also a 40 minute drive from Byron Bay, 30 minute drive from Northern Rivers beaches and southern Gold Coast beaches, a 10-minute drive to Wollumbin (Mt Warning) National Park and the historical village of Uki. There is also a 40-minute scenic drive to the township of Nimbin, along with several beautiful hiking trails nearby.

Pitch your tent on a beautiful cleared area with amazing close up views of Mount Warning.
This campsite is on a property in Wollumbin national park which is currently closed to outside visitors so you will get to enjoy the magic of the rainforest without the crowds. There is a creek running through the property which you can explore and is a 5 minute walk from the camp site.
You are welcome to climb to the top of the property if you are physically up for the challenge and take in breath taking views of both Mount warning up close and the surrounding area.
This is a private camp site with its own fire pit area. Mount warning is currently closed to the public to climb but there is plenty of creeks, a swimming hole close by and land to explore.
A 10 minute drive takes you to the quaint town of Uki and 25 minutes and you're in the country town of Murwillumbah. Please Note: This is 4WD access only.

Welcome to SLEEPY HOLLOW MANOR ESTATE, A family farm Acting under the state government agricultural tourism reform allowing primary producers and livestock farms such as us on RU2 property to have visitors.
As part of this we have to follow some simple protocol! Unfortunately, we have had some issues with local council which now monitor our movements closely and we ask that you follow these simple rules extremely closely failure to do may cause us to reject your booking and may incur penalties to both of us as the landholders and also the camper.
1. STRICTLY No Caravans, RV's, Tents or Any Camping site is to be set up within 50 meters of the creek.
2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds treat it like you would a national park.
4. All waste must be bagged and taken off site with you.

Malabar Farm is a working Beef and Equine property situated in walking distance (600 metres to the Hotel) from the idyllic village of Uki. Steep in farming history, was originally a part of the logging district and later operated as a dairy up until early 2001. The farm nestles in to the foothills of Uki and the Twin Sister Mountains. The southern boundary is 2 klm of Tweed River. 3 permanent creeks meander through the property providing an abundance of wild life and camp sites to dream of.
The long stretch of Tweed River frontage provides for fishing (bass aplenty), and canoeing. The equine training and breeding section of the farm is to be visited by appointment most days, and for safety reasons is not commonly accessible.
Petting of small animals is an optional extra for children and beginners, can also arrange a riding lesson in one of the 2 enclosed arenas, as another optional extra cost.

Sarabah Creek Camping is honestly one of the most amazing spots we’ve stayed at. It’s so close to the Gold Coast, yet it feels completely peaceful and secluded.
The campground is beautiful, it was incredible to fall asleep to the sound of the water and the creek was so fresh to swim in. The site feels very private, the bathroom was clean and it was easy to access the campsite!!
You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the grounds and making sure guests have a great stay.
Sarabah Creek Camping is an absolute gem. We’ll definitely be back!

2 nights at Crystal Creek Rainforest Treehouse
Aneta & Paul were wonderful hosts. They have fabulously set up this little gem, tucked away in the delightful rainforest. Everywhere you position yourself you can feel nature takeover your senses. The little touches from Aneta & Paul, like the freshly picked roses in vases, the beautifully lined pathway with endless colour (Impatiens) & the dimly lit fairy lights throughout, all add to the experience. Relax on the deck, take a stroll by the creek bed or try a refreshing dip in the dam, either way, you are immersed in nature!! The drive to/from this destination was picturesque, with the Springbrook National Park/Numimbah Valley views not disappointing. The locally made bread sold at the Chillingham farm produce store is highly recommended, not to mention the Crystal Creek Nursery & Cafe - just perfect! A peek of the regional township of Murwillumbah, 20 minutes from the treehouse, should also be on your "to do" list. We plan to be back :-)

Very lovely sites scattered down along the flowing creek. It had great communal area which includes hot water for washing dishes. Each site seems very quiet and almost impossible to hear other campers unless you walk to the communal area.
We had our own little water hole for soaking in. So very relaxing with the constant sound of running water. Will definitely book here again in the future.

This bit of paradise would have to be one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever camped. We stayed in a spot called big fig and it was one of the more private spaces you can stay at. About 100m down from us was what seemed like a private rock pool all to ourselves. And a couple of hundred metres up was a spectacular waterfall where you could also enjoy, relax and cool down. We hiked up the mountain and soaked up the amazing view of the property and Mt Warning. And the cherry on top was the hosts of this amazing bit of paradise, the lovely couple Keith and Zandra were more than helpful with what we needed. This place is a MUST DO. My wife and I will definitely be visiting again. 10/10
