Woop Woop is a very private and peaceful place to relax and enjoy. There’s a nice Dam walking distance away to take a dip when it heats up . If you need to top up on supplies Wamaran is a short drive away. The local butchers shop and the Dag pub is well worth a visit . Peter and Doris were excellent hosts. We will definitely be back !

4 nights at Kenilworth Rural Camping

Site 4 was very large with lush grass and fairly flat so not only is it good for the caravan and tents but also for the kids games. Close to the river and town but still far enough away from the main stream of campers and noise that larger campgrounds bring. Definitely recommend this to those who are self sufficient.

We loved camping at the rustic resort in the DoLittle area. The toilet was just up the hill and very clean and tidy. Doris was lovely and delivered our pre booked firewood to our campsite not long after we arrived. The position was right in the middle of the bush and the walk up the street via the dam was well worth the effort. We thoroughly recommend this spot. Future if you are lucky to book by the dam is recommended.

We tent camp for 2 nights, there is a lot of space between tent, Penelope is super friendly and accomodating, we were provided wood($20 lasted 2 nights) and fire pit, the area and landscape are amazing, there is also a pool and a gym($10) We also had two cats and there were no problems with other pets like dogs because of the large area. There are horses around in their fence but you can kindly pat them. Overall we had an amazing experience and we are very keen to go back!!! Thanks again to Penelope

If you are in need of a few essentials, we are also handy to Coles, Bunnings, Chemist Warehouse and a Bottle shop. They are all within a 5-minute drive south on the Bruce Highway. It's 25 acres of koala protected bush. Camping is on grassy areas amongst the trees, this is basic bush camping suited to fully self sufficient campers. Our block is completely off grid, there is no power or water. Listen to the birds, including the beautiful whip birds Look for koalas and other wildlife: quails, ducks, birds, kangaroos, deer (our property is koala protected bush. Wildlife must not be disturbed). Under a minute drive to local creek and swimming hole. A few minutes drive to Wivenhoe dam recreation area. 15-minute drive to Fernvale for supplies (and one of the famous pies from the bakery). 20 minute drive to Somerset Dam for all your water sport fun. Stop at a swimming hole or lookout on your way up to scenic Mt Glorious. We are About a 15 minute drive from Northbrook Gorge, a popular local hike. Buranga Farm

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). Caravans are not permitted due to the steep terrain. A Portaloo is located between the Ocean View 1 and 2 sites and a second Portaloo is located centrally and within walking distance to The Knoll, Upper Plateau, Valley View and Little Bunya campsites. There are no facilities at The Junction, and you MUST be self-contained. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. GreyGum at Beattie Creek is a 64 Acre property a stones throw away from the centre of Kenilworth town. GreyGum is a horse property, playing host to a riding school. We have recently opened camping for horsey and non horsey people alike. With very limited camping spaces, we offer privacy, horse yards, hitching rails, a seasonal creek with swimming holes and toilets. Arena, round yard on property and off property trail riding is available at your leisure. There is spring fed dam if you wish to have a dip with your horse right on your camp sites. If you ask us how to ride to the pub or a donut, we are happy to direct you! (We like to ride to the pub for a beer!). GreyGum is a shady, lush and beautiful property with private access straight to Kenilworth state forestry trails (motorbikes and vehicles expected). To drive to camping space, you will need 4 wheel drive. In extreme weather events, we are unable to host. Noise must be kept to a minimum from 10.30 pm. Dogs are allowed, on leash at all times. All rubbish and mess must be taken with you. There are 2, spacious horse yards available, which can be split to 4 if you bring your own piggy tails and electric tape/equipment. If yards filled, there is space to set up your own pens. Horses must respect fencing. Trail rides, horse/ pony riding lessons (on our horses) and guided trails on your own horses are available if you need a guide through the extensive trails in the state forest. We are a small family run business and we live on the property. Please be respectful of us and we will happily share our beautiful property with you. Entrance to camp sight is on the KENILWORTH side of Beattie Creek, at the driveway with the GREEN BIKE. Please do not go up the steep drive on the Imbil side of Beattie creek. This drive is extremely difficult to get up with a float.

Also please note we have 24 sites only, however some of these sites can easily fit 40 people therefore on Hipcamp it can show lots of availability when in fact that may not be the case. We are more expensive per person than other camp sites. Please note this includes hipcamp fees and charges and you are covered by hipcamp insurance. We don’t charge for pets, nor do we charge to use our 6 onsite canoes, nor do we charge extra for hot showers or rubbish removal, we haveguest wifi. Our 1km private driveway is rough but if driven to conditions a 2wd has no issues.. Most of the time space is abundant however if choosing to come on a long weekend, Easter or New Years expect it to be a lot busier than your average weekend with larger groups camping together, however still plenty of space between groups. You won’t ever have to trip over your neighbours tent ropes here. Eco friendly lakefront and near to lake front sites. Please don’t arrive expecting lakefront, our sites are all near to and Depending on group size not everyone will have lake frontage. We can never guarantee requests. We assign sites based on numbers and camping equipment. Furtherest camp spot is approximately 500m from amenities block, however porta loos are located in the remote site but it’s a walk or drive back to the showers. Flushing toilets and 2 hot showers available in main area. Please note: toilet cartridges are not to be emptied into our toilets. Take it home or dispose at dump point at Woodford Showgrounds We provide unpowered Bush camping, and we try to keep the camp sites as natural as possible, no flat pads. There is lots of space for the kids to run or take the dog for a walk on the lead. If you are organising a celebration (eg wedding/birthday) please send an enquiry first so we can discuss your needs. Please note if you’re wanting a function the price is $5500 which gives you sole use of the property up to 70 campers for 2 nights. Kenilworth Free Range Farm

We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched. The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks. You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles. Access is 4WD or AWD only. The farm has been in my family for nearly 80 years, four generations and these campsites have been hosting people for a very long time. I remember staying there as a little girl with a girl guide group.
