Our Food & Beverage van is now open and offers a variety of food choices. Thank you who camped this year. We have « closed » our area from mid January to April. If you wish to camp during that time message us on Hipcamp, and we will endeavour to see if it is possible. This assists in avoiding overcrowding) There is NO access to our property from Kuranda end! Visitors need to go through Mareeba A beautiful 160 acre paddock that you can enjoy. Cleared slashed areas beside the river. Enjoy a river swim to cool you down during summer and go for a cold dip during winter. River is also good for fishing during the right season. Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track. Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude} Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway. Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough. There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs. Water can be supplied upon request. Power generators are permitted . There may be minimal mobile service with Telstra. Campfire will only be permitted within fire pit. All campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace behind. Hold newly hatched poultry, friendly chickens and maybe even lambs. Bookings are essential come by the farmhouse and meet at the gazebo. We are 10mins from Dimbulah or 20mins to Mareeba with their many attractions. We can tell you all about the many attractions and activities this area has to offer. Please Note: Cattle Creek and Waterfront Campsites are accessible by 2WD. The other campsites are 4WD access only and with off road campers/caravans only (high clearance to get through a dry creek crossing). These are self contained sites so please take your own shower and toilet facilities and take away all waste. Well behaved dogs are allowed but must be supervised at all times for the protection of the sheep, poultry, wildlife and not to be brought to the house yard. Sorry no motorbikes or ATV’s. We have a wet season (December to March) and dry season (September to December) choose your ideal times to stay.

In May 2024, we completed the first of our glamping pavilions. These pavilions have allowed us to provide our first step of offering a variety of accommodation options for our discerning guests. This project received tourism grant funding from the Australian Government, which has allowed us to expand on our original concept and has made the glamping pavilions really quite special. Our amenity buildings have undertaken a fresh makeover which now provides state of the art washing machines and dryers with tap and go payment options - no need for coins. A vending machine for that late afternoon or evening snack, immaculately clean bathrooms and a camp kitchen with shared facilities for those campers who like to do their own thing. Our Food & Beverage van is now open and offers a variety of food choices. Open daily from 12pm to 8.00pm (season dependent) we invite our guests and locals to come and enjoy our beautiful park setting. With a multitude of accommodation options for the most discerning guest, Daintree Beach Resort is becoming the destination, not just a place to stay.

Cleared slashed areas beside the river. Enjoy a river swim to cool you down during summer and go for a cold dip during winter. River is also good for fishing during the right season. Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track. Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude} Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway. Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough. There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs. Water can be supplied upon request. Power generators are permitted . A peaceful acre and a half block straight off the road, flat grassed area with fencing between camp area and Neighbours. Plenty of space to set up where you feel comfortable within the fence and surrounded by horses. 15km or 20 minutes from Cairns City Centre and 10 minutes from Coles or Woolies in either direction. (Please note Gordonvale Woolies is closed on Sundays, Mount Sheridan shopping centre has Kmart, Coles and Woolies). A cane train line runs across the front of the property so during cane season the trains come past a few times during the day and night. They can be noisy but are fairly quick. Fresh and crystal clear swimming hole/ creek at the end of the road if you continue west down Maitland Road. Please stay in the front block and before the horse stables. The creek is private and great for swimming, with lots of different swimming spots. The waterfall hike is a well maintained easy going track through the untouched tropical rainforest. Theresa & Frank offered us the use of the swimming pool but it was cool enough at this altitude that we enjoyed a walk with our pooch and a glass of red by the fire.

The campground is only 300 meters from the village centre with public amenities, cafe, hotel/restaurant, river cruises, fishing trips and boat ramp. Daintree RV Park faces across Daintree River to magnificent tropical rainforest and Thornton Peak, 4th highest mountain in Queensland. The open fields offer clear vision for amazing tropical sunsets. Watch the brahman beef cattle grazing around the park. The Osborne family are pioneers in farming in Daintree going back five generations. Daintree Village is a short stroll up Dagmar Street before reaching public toilets, mail box (pick up mail from Daintree Village Hotel), Croc Xpresso Cafe (breakfast & lunch), Daintree Village Hotel (lunch & dinner), Daintree Originals (souvenirs, arts, crafts, t-shirts and tropical clothing). The CREB Track is nearby running through the heart of the Daintree Rainforest to Roaring Meg Falls and on to Wujal Wujal. Only 4x4 vehicles without trailers on this adventurous track. The CREB Track is currently open. Also there is the Bloomfield Track running from Wujal Wujal to Cape Tribulation. A large open marquee area is provided shelter and shade between all sites. Table and chairs are provided. We welcome your pets but they will have to be on leash. Campfires are now allowed onsite in the fire pit.
