Juliet and Grant have been custodians since 2003, in that time we've built a house, raised a family and now that Alex and Hayley are both at University, life has become a little quieter, (not so sure if we like the quiet though!) Now we've only just started with Hipcamp, we do have a lot to discover, happy to listen and learn. We do offer plenty of space and you will not be crowded out as we keep numbers very limited. No facilities, no toilets, showers, electricity, rubbish bins etc. We do ask that you respect this as you must be fully self contained. We do not consider, a bucket with a lid, to be self contained ok! Right now though in our top dam, we have a flock of White Egrets roosting at night, spectacular when they depart & return each day, however due to the number of these birds, hundreds if not more! they have fouled the water in the dam & it's a bit on the nose.

We have 2 and a half acres of hobby farm with fruit trees, vegetables and open grass for the two resident donkeys, chickens and a couple of dogs. It really is a mini farm just 3 km from the beach. The two very friendly donkeys love to be with children. The property is in the middle of the Daintree Rain Forest with all its beauty. There are endless walks, guided tours adventure activities for all ages and fitness. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pull in with your RV beautiful peaceful spot surrounded by fruit trees and rain forest. Go for a swim in one of the many local swimming holes. Great adventures to be had exploring the amazing Daintree National Park from within, Beautiful Cow Cw Bay Beach is just 3 km away. The children will love the donkeys and chickens. Campfires are permitted outside of any restrictions and must be contained and supervised at all times. Well behaved pets are allowed on leash as we have our animals.

BYO bike and cycle along the backroads passing through eucalypt bushland, cane fields and farming, finishing with lunch at a local coffee plantation. Camping in a quiet, peaceful rural location with lots of space, at a small private vegetable market garden and hay farm. You can base yourself on our property while making trips to nearby Mossman Gorge, Port Douglas, Daintree National Park, local beaches and other attractions. We offer sites beside a vacant farm cottage and hay shed, or a choice of other areas around the farm. Campers have use of spacious, clean amenities with hot shower, toilet and vanity. In the drier months, from April to December, we bale our pasture, and grow mixed vegetables and flowers to supply a local outlet. See Facebook: Pink's Produce, Miallo. Ours is a working farm that the two of us (not young folks) manage on our own. Campers can join in whatever we are doing at the time, stand by and watch, or just sit back and enjoy. If you are interested in growing veggies or just seeing how we do it, then we are happy to show you around. Otherwise you can just relax in peaceful surroundings. Our farm also offers unique elevated views of the local farming area with a backdrop of The Great Dividing Range, the Coral Sea and Port Douglas. There is also an impressive variety of butterflies and bird life to enjoy. Hosts are happy to show campers around our market garden that we start cultivating after the wet season and usually continue until December - weather dependant. Guests will have access to a portable fire place during their stay as well as a BBQ grill and hotplate. Firewood is available for purchase. We have electricity available from the vacant cottage at $25/night. Must be booked through Extras. Our 150acre property has spectacular mountain views, as well as views to Port Douglas and the Coral Sea. There are small creeks on the property that attract birdlife and have a variety of freshwater fish and turtles in them. Nearby there are several larger creeks for cooling off, and properties with horses, cattle and sugarcane. We are a 15min drive to Mossman, the closest town, and 45mins south to Port Douglas or north to the Daintree township. You can take a shortcut to the road to Daintree via the WWII Japanese Miallo Bombing Memorial.

this was a great space for us as a larger family. Big open green space for the kids to play and very affordable compared to the nearby caravan parks which get exey for a family of 5. The space is positioned between the road and the dump (no smell and no visual of dump), neither of those bothered us though as we were out for most of the days we were there. 10 mins drive to town and beach. No facilities so need to be fully self contained.

We loved our stay at Kingston Road farm! The view is simply spectacular and the campsite is peaceful and quiet with lovely grass area for tent setup. Toilet and shower facilities are clean, well maintained, and very easy to access. Nerida and Mick were so welcoming and generous, giving us a tour around the farm and sharing their fresh produce with us! We had the best time and will definitely be back in the future!

We had a very relaxing stay here! Very green and peaceful. We were the only campers there so enjoyed the solitude. Great views of the hinterland and potentially incredible sunset if the clouds clear for you!

Grassed site # 1 with an outlook to the north, overlooking the lower dam. Not a huge space, but nicely positioned to enjoy the Sunsets.

We had a lovely quiet time at Tonina's place. There's some history here, an old tobacco shed for starters ect...The camp-sites are big enough that we didn't have to unhitch our van. Each site has a firepit. There is 1 male and 1 female toilet and hot showers + 1 extra toilet and a laundry. Access to the Barron River is via a picturesque 2 minute meander down a path where we found a table and chairs and ended up spending a lot of time enjoying the views of crystal clear water flowing. Mesmerising. We'll be back for sure. 👍

This was a great cheaper option for the Port Douglas area! You do get some road noise being so close to the highway, but it wouldn’t deter us from staying again. Recommend.

We had a great stay here extended another day so much to do Cape Trib Daintree and Port Douglas .At site 5 birds in the afternoon a nice sight cows roaming so free just doing their thing Bailey the horse (carrot banana and an apple or 2 😜loved it even had a visit from a skippy at the dam

Really friendly and welcoming hosts on such a beautiful property in an amazing part of the Daintree. Extremely peaceful, plenty of space with gorgeous bushland surrounding it. Very friendly animals and the Donkeys are amazing. I’ll definitely be staying again on my next trip.
