Our farm also offers unique elevated views of the local farming area with a backdrop of The Great Dividing Range, the Coral Sea and Port Douglas. There is also an impressive variety of butterflies and bird life to enjoy.
Hosts are happy to show campers around our market garden that we start cultivating after the wet season and usually continue until December - weather dependant.
Guests will have access to a portable fire place during their stay as well as a BBQ grill and hotplate. Firewood is available for purchase.
We have electricity available from the vacant cottage at $30/night. Must be booked through Extras.
Our 150acre property has spectacular mountain views, as well as views to Port Douglas and the Coral Sea. There are small creeks on the property that attract birdlife and have a variety of freshwater fish and turtles in them. Nearby there are several larger creeks for cooling off, and properties with horses and cattle. We are a 15min drive to Mossman, the closest town, and 45mins south to Port Douglas or north to the Daintree township. You can take a shortcut to the road to Daintree via the WWII Japanese Miallo Bombing Memorial.

Our Food & Beverage van is now open and offers a variety of food choices. Open daily from 12pm to 8.00pm (season dependent) we invite our guests and locals to come and enjoy our beautiful park setting.

Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway.
Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests

I had a lovely stay at Mowbray Meadows for a week. It was 5-10 minutes drive to quite a lot in the area, including 4-mile beach for dog walks, Port Douglas town, and some creek, and hiking options nearby. Super convenient, friendly hosts, and reasonably priced for so being so close to Port Douglas.

We only stayed here for one night, but the place was truly fantastic. Very quiet, spacious, and surrounded by greenery. It offers a communal kitchen with everything you need for cooking and washing up, and the bathrooms and showers were very clean. We watched the sunset sitting on the bench and watched cane toads hopping around once it got dark. If I happen to be in the area again, I would definitely come back to this campsite.
