The outdoor kitchen and fire pit make it easy to cook and relax under the stars, while the spacious hot showers add a touch of luxury after a day of exploring. This peaceful retreat is the perfect place to unwind, listen to the sounds of nature, and spot local birdlife. Firewood is in abundance and you will find enough to feed the fire after a short walk! this place has been set up with groups in mind so if you are travelling in a convoy there is space for your whole crew. This peaceful retreat is the perfect place to unwind, listen to the sounds of nature, and spot local birdlife. You’ll still have the convenience of Telstra coverage at the kitchen, so you can stay connected if needed. Spark Valley is all about tranquillity, comfort, and connection to the great outdoors. A great way to start your trip north to the Tip or just explore the local area. ( the offroad park track is not open to campers at this stage but we are however open to discuss group bookings for access, but full disclosure - its a bit pricey so needs a fair few people involved to get the track open. The camp is fully off grid, with power supplied by solar.

Clinton is a great host, prompt response! There are loose woods to pick up for fire, some 4WD tracks to explore, kitchen, flush toilet and hot shower are luxury add on!

Fantastic spot, very easy camp with all the facilities. Clean and well thought out. The moment you think you forgot to bring something you look around and its already been thought of and provided. We will definitely be back.

My partner and I booked this campsite last minute morning of our trip, and we weren’t sure what to expect. Upon arrival to the campsite it was clear we had found somewhere special! This is by far our favourite camp spot yet, it somehow manages to make you feel like you’re camping in the middle of the Aussie bush while also having all the amenities you might need to stay comfortable and dry. It’s perfect for campers looking for privacy, we had the entire place to just the two of us, but would be perfect for a large group as well. We are already counting down until we can come back, highly recommend!

Great camping spot! Plenty of space and fantastic facilities with everything you need. The location is super convenient too. Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked because we were away working, but we will definitely be back when we get the chance. We'd happily recommend this place to anyone! Clinton was also incredibly kind and welcoming, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Thanks again, we're looking forward to coming back!

Spark Valley Base Camp Cabin
We enjoyed our stay at Spark Valley. Property was well set up and would be great for bigger groups too. Plenty of room to camp plus the room some of our party used was neat and stylish. Clinton was friendly and had set up campfires for us to light and gave good recommendations for walks around the property. Facilities were great - heaps of kitchen space and showers available too.

Spark Valley Base Camp Cabin
Clinton’s property is a fabulous setup for short or longer stops. We stayed on our way to Cape York for one night and it is only a few kms off the road - so very convenient. The cabin was thoughtfully decorated and a welcome little bit of luxury on the road. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of room for campers to park around it. The amenities cater well for a big group so was ample for our group of 4. There is a well stocked camp kitchen and great area for meals. Clinton was very prompt with communication and was there to greet us when we arrived. I would highly recommend this camp and would definitely stay again if I was travelling through. Thanks Clinton!
