We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away.
We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane.
The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude.
From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest.
There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway.
It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest.
Enjoy the spring fed dam in the warmer months. 🏊♂️

We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away.
We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane.
The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude.
From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest.
There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway.
It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest.
Enjoy the spring fed dam in the warmer months. 🏊♂️

We were met by one of the hosts and shown to the camping grounds, which was good because it was a bit convoluted to get there. Creek was picturesque but not swimming-fit (muddy). Lots of room so we were able to find a relatively private spot, while others had groups of 4-5 vans, kids and dogs.

My family and my brothers family camped here for a week over new years and absolutely loved it. Site was large enough for both our fairly large campers, grass for kids to play and big trees for shade. Sites aren't on top of each other so noise from other campers wasnt an issue. Creek was nice and close, caught a decent size fish, kods had a great time with the canoes available and our paddle boards. Lindsay and others there were friendly and extremely helpful. We all loved getting to feed the horses and cows, that was a favourite with the kids. I'd highly recommend camping here, we will definitely be back. Thank you for being an amazing host Lindsay.

Stayed at Carbeen Camping and Farmstay over the New Year. It is a relaxing location, flat and well looked after. Host are lovely people, checked in with us every day to ensure everything was ok. They even supplied free fire wood. Shame the dam was a little too weedy for a swim. Lots of kangaroos of an evening coming to the dam for a drink. Even had the odd huge goanna wonder thru campsite a few times. Will be back.

Lalapanzi Heights is a unique setup that will keep both serious campers and their reluctant friends very comfortable. Be sure to check what is already there, because you will probably need less gear than you think (there is literally a kitchen sink ... with a plumbed drain!).
Roger has a keen natural hospitality which genuinely wants guests to have a great experience, which is reflected in how he has set up the site.
About the only difficulty for us was the last 400m to the campsite is definitely 4x4 low-range-gear only ... a vehicle we didn't have. We were reliant on Roger to ferry our gear up and down in the Rover, which he made no trouble of at all. Asked nicely with enough notice, he also happily agreed to bring our full esky up the hill after we went shopping for a mid-camp resupply mission (it was easy enough to carry the empty one down, walking). Not having our 2WD vehicle *at the campsite* added some mild extra planning to our usual camping experience, but it didn't hinder us much.
All told we loved the privacy, facilities, great shade options and serenity, all a short drive from Toowoomba. We would recommend it as an easy getaway for groups between 6 and 12 people.

I loved that they were a dog friendly area for one. Grounds were kept tidy and maintained. Amenities on site were regularly maintained. Service was phenomenal, upon booking we had the options to order firewood either by a trailer load or bags, your own meat if you chose to order upon booking was never before seen until I stayed here. So if I would stay here again… I definitely would, even better if you brought a group or if you want quiet camping.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Warrego Farm. Lindsay is so welcoming and no request is too hard for him. Beautiful kept grounds, access to many different camp sites. If you want privacy there are many options. Love this place!
