We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away. We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest. There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest. Visit the iconic Ambulance Museum that tells the story of Ambulance services in Queensland. We are within easy reach of Highland Falls which has some great walking tracks and view points of the falls. Pets are also permitted in this bushland area but must be on a leash. We are just 3 mins from local shops, McDonald's, KFC. This is the perfect spot for those who want to wind down and escape the hustle and bustle. We have amenities available and pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. Sorry, no campfires. Bush Camping. A secluded semi rural location surrounded on 3 sides by farmland yet only minutes from the main shopping center and Warrego Highway. Sunset Cottage is also available. This small cottage sleeps 3 with a Queen bed and foldout lounge, has an outdoor kitchen, large veranda with beautiful views and share the campground facilities. The cost is $80 per night. See Photos . Exceptional sunsets and peaceful tranquillity are a major feature of the Lockyer Valley. Emmaton Park guests share a basic well maintained “rustic, typical Oz style ” abolitions block with hot shower, flushing toilet and small kitchenette area with sink and microwave.. Entertainment area for small groups with stage, music and lighting can be provided by prior arrangement at small additional cost. Catering is also available if required.

Stayed at Carbeen Camping and Farmstay over the New Year. It is a relaxing location, flat and well looked after. Host are lovely people, checked in with us every day to ensure everything was ok. They even supplied free fire wood. Shame the dam was a little too weedy for a swim. Lots of kangaroos of an evening coming to the dam for a drink. Even had the odd huge goanna wonder thru campsite a few times. Will be back.

We had such a wonderful stay at this campsite. It felt incredibly private, which made it easy to relax and enjoy family time. The kids had a blast swimming in the creek, and even our dog joined in. We also caught a fish, it was safe, refreshing, and a highlight of the trip. Lindsey, the host, was so welcoming and made everything easy and we will definitely be back!

This was our first camping trip, and it was an amazing experience. The campsite is located right next to a small creek, which made it perfect for fishing and relaxing. The free kayak hire was a great bonus and made the trip even more fun. The host was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay, which made us feel very welcome. Great camp sites with almost everything you could need. Bathroom and outdoor shower were great! Firepit with kindling and firewood was perfect and great to not have to bring it all from home. We did a beautiful walk up along the Ridge line. Will be back for sure!
