Rustic camping at its finest ! Myself and my 3 boys had a blast at the shack. The place has everything you need to enjoy a good cook up over the fire pit. Billy coffee followed by baked bean jaffles. Very clean and no insects whatsoever. Denis even arranged a tour of the Cotton Ginery that was very interesting and to top it of a ride in the tractor. Rose was a great host and her chickens may now have anxiety after my boys chasing them. Such a great stay and both Rose and Denis are of the kindest of people. We will be back.

We loved our stay at the Shack! It provided a good inbetween from camping and cabining . Our favourite parts were getting cozy around the fire place! Thank you again to the lovely hosts(Rose ands Dennis) who were nice enough to show us around and let us feed the horses !

We visited runella and had one night stay. It was such a awesome place to escape from city chaos. Rose was very helful and she gave information about all the things. The shack had all the needed amneties. Bathrooms were very clean. Its inside shack.Bedrooms and kitchen were very neat and tidy. You can have hot shower using donkey. Firepit is close to shack and very convinient to use. Sunshine and sunset are breathtaking. Everything was well maintained. We will surely come back again. we recommend to visit runella once.

The Drover was simply amazing to get away to, we were only there for a night it certainly wasn’t enough to stay and enjoy it as much as we would have liked. But our one night was nothing short of perfect, Amanda has done an absolutely fantastic job at creating the perfect feel and vibe of their beautiful land. It was our dream little cabin we aspire to build one day for ourselves. Thank you Amanda we will definitely be back 😁

With pets
We stayed at the hut on Kent with our little dog, and it’s a nice quiet cozy cabin with an inside fireplace which was great on a nice cold winters night, plus it has a large firepit out the front for over the fire cooking, Rose and Denis were very friendly hosts and we highly recommend I stay at their property.

2 nights at Duchess Farm (Cabin + Tents/Vans)
We had an amazing time. The animals were so friendly and visits from the dogs Spud and Willow were loved by my son. Very private and immaculate. The cabin has every thing you need! We had a group with some of us in tents. There was plenty of room. The kids loved feeding and playing with the animals.
The views was amazing!! We will be back
