Note on entrance road a few campers with vans have asked- I am not a caravanner so I’m not sure what’s important to you

- The large school bus terminates at the intersection of Adams and eastern connection.
- we have had several large vans stay with us and they have not had any issues with access

This was a lovely family orientated campground with a great backdrop of the hills behind Cairns and lots of bird life in the trees. The bathroom was nice and modern and very clean. The laundry facilities were also excellent. There is lots to do here with pools, waterpark and golf. Pizza at the bar was also really good.

We had a real magical time here, Emma was a brilliant host! She showed us and the kids around the farm letting us meet her goats, feed the cows and collect eggs from the chickens. She even brought baby goats down to the camp-site to let the kids feed them milk and meet some very friendly dogs. She even gave us trays of eggs that where collected that day from the chickens! Luckily we got to see a baby cow being born during the night and she walked straight up to meet us in the morning! Your kids will love this spot! Camp site had everything we needed from toilets, showers, fire pit and power. Only a short drive away from other activity spots like lake eacham and yungaburra. Was a lovely trip full of memories will definitely be back

We really enjoyed our stay at Emma's farm stay and camping. Our son loved feeding hay to the cows and collecting eggs from the chooks. And we were given lots of fresh eggs! They tasted great! And they even supplied fire wood. A great spot close to Lake Barrine and Lake Tinaroo. Definitely recommended.

The central dam is effectively the size of a small lake, creating an immediate and impressive bird habitat. We were lucky to watch Brolgas, jacannas, and other waterbirds feed and rest along its edges, offering excellent viewing.
The retreat is incredibly peaceful but remains conveniently close to the amenities in Mareeba. This provides a perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility.
Brook was a lovely host who gave excellent recommendations for local sightseeing.
Highly recommended for a peaceful stay with great birdwatching.

We had a lovely stay. The camp was well set up with good facilities, and the host was welcoming. A highlight for us was feeding the goats and collecting fresh eggs from the chickens. We also felt very safe throughout our stay, and the location is convenient for exploring the area.
One thing to note is that the paddock is smaller than I expected, and without trees it does feel a bit close to your neighbours. That was really my mistake for not reviewing the listing properly, I usually look for more secluded camping. I just thought it might be helpful to mention for anyone looking for more private spots.
Overall, it was a great experience and I’d happily recommend staying here. Thanks again for hosting us.
