We have close access to some beautiful nearby creeks and walking trails. With Four Mile beach, Spring Creek Falls, Mowbray Falls all at your door step there is endless adventures to be had. The property is right near the Mowbray National Park and the Bump Track which is a popular and memorable mountain-biking experience for those who love to ride. This 6km trail climbs from sea level to almost 400m within just a couple of kilometres, allowing riders to experience one of the biggest downhill thrills in the region. You might also like to explore further and do a day trip up to the Daintree. Your friendly host is always happy to share local knowledge so you can get the best out of your trip. Campers will need to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept under your control at all times. Campfires allowed, must been in a fire pit or equivalent.

We didn’t end up staying here. Not maintained at all, building materials everywhere, rotten hammock with a big hole in it - tried to ring the owner but the number had been disconnected. Would have been ok if it was cheaper but from the tip of Australia to here we paid same amounts with at least some sort of amenities. Such a shame as photos look great but it’s not like that when u get there. T could be a nice place with a bit of TLC

A beautiful spot tucked away just outside of Port Douglas. Had the whole campsite to ourselves. The dog could wander freely and explore to her hearts content. Beautiful trees and the floodlights made setting up at night a breeze. Will 100% be coming back.

Gorgeous area beautiful trees and at night time they have lights shining on them looked beautiful. Host was very friendly and his dog. Great location we drove past a Big 4 caravan park that always had people in the overflow and we definitely made the right decision to be in Hipcamp

Camp was okay, but we didn’t feel it offered good value for the price—it’s essentially just a section of the host’s backyard. The listing mentioned potable water, but it appears the taps are often turned off by the host. The dog-friendly aspect was a plus, but the host’s dog roams freely, which could be an issue if your dogs are tied up or not very social. We had trouble during feeding time as we constantly had to keep his dog away. On the upside, it was a relief to be on grass again after so much red dirt. We were also looking forward to a swimming spot as shown in the photos, but it turns out the pictured blue pool is sacred and not open for swimming.

Great place to stay, tucked away in the valley with views of the mountains. Close to Port Douglas and Craiglie. The bump track is at your door step, tough hike but worth it. Pat was very accommodating and his dog Ella is absolute beautiful.

Beautiful location right at the bottom of the Bump Track. Paddy was very welcoming, our dog had lots a space to run with a fence giving us comfort he was secure.. Close enough to Port Douglas for cafes and markets.

I loved camping here as I had a spot about 3 meters from the rainforest. So relaxing to sit there and listen to the birds. There is a National Park next door, I think the walking trail is called the Bump but I have a dog so didn’t go up there. Padhraic is lovely guy, very friendly and he also fixed my trailer brakes for me which really came in handy today with some of the descents on the road from Cape Tribulation to Bloomfield. We loved camping here for 2 nights. Had a lovely fire under the stars . Host is very helpful and friendly. Absolute amazing spot. Very close to town which is handy. Will be back. Would definitely recommend. Thanks

The site Paddy had for us was beautiful and grassy! Loads of room to get a big rig into the gates! The property is well kept and stunning! Paddy's dog was very friendly and our daughter loved playing with her. We will definitely be back!

Nice quiet spot and Paddy was a wealth of information about the area. Who would of thought there used to be 25 houses, 2 pubs and 1 cop shop in that small area

Padraic was very helpful. His property is green & pretty. The entry gate is a bit of a challenge for a large van (20’6), being a single gate from a fairly narrow dirt road. There is also a dirt Carpark adjacent to the property. It is fairly well used by people wanting to walk or cycle the Bump Track. We were pleased to find a space close to Port Douglas where our dog was welcome.

Beautiful views, peaceful spot, great flat camp-site for our campervan. Lovely host also. We really enjoyed our night here with our cosy campfire. Very easy access to Port Douglas too. Thanks for having us!

This camp was beautiful. It was quiet and being able to have a fire was great. Plently of space and so close to Port Douglas if you want to go off exploring. Definitely recommend this Hipcamp and Paddy is a great guy. We will use this Hipcamp again.

Great spot to stay while checking out Port Douglas, surrounded by hills. Spring creek swimming hole is a beautiful spot about 5 minutes drive away. Bore water at the site was handy too.

The place was easy to find google maps took us to the exact spot make sure you have this downloaded as there is no phone reception was a nice and quiet place and only a short drive into town will be back at this one

The views were absolutely stunning. It was so isolated, quiet and peaceful which is exactly what we wanted. We were a little confused as to where we should setup as the owner wasn't around and there was no signs, but we figured it out.
