Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses and goats. We have goat food for purchase on site. 🐐 The Stonesthrow Bush Camping lower sites are close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property. These sites have access to facilities - toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Most of these sites are suitable for 2WDs and some sites are accessible to caravans. The Stonesthrow Elevated sites are located higher up, with stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by 4WD and require you to BYO sealed, chemical camping TOILET and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. This place was absolutely stunning, easy to find with the hosts instructions. Had some nice food at the man on the bike. Hosts were quick to respond to any problems we had. They gave us some nice goodies which we used to make a snack board to eat in the bath. Having a nice little kitchen was a bonus. Though do note that the batthroom didn't have a door on it, so make sure we are only going with someone you are close too 🫣🤣. We even were able to call some horses over in the morning for some pats. We felt like we are truly away from the rest of the world but still with the creature comforts. Such a unique experience! Would 100% recommend.

This is a fantastic place for camping and light hiking. The longer you stay, the more there is to explore. There are also many friendly animals, making the experience even more special. The hosts, Richard and Miranda, along with their children, were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The horses at the top of the property were absolutely beautiful, and the surrounding scenery was breathtaking. This was our very first camping trip in Australia after traveling from Korea, and thanks to this place, it became a truly unforgettable memory. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Australian camping experience!

Great property with superb views and easy access. 5 stars. We booked in July and it’s probably best over the cooler months as there are no trees throughout the direct camping area to sit under for shade if the sun is out and the weather is hot.

Great amount of green spaces and plenty of room on sites. Enjoyed hike up to the top fence line for amazing views. Richard and Miranda are great approachable hosts. Definitely worth the trip to Stonethrow - goi g back soon for sure.

Weekend Trip to Amani Acres

This was our first hip camp and we really enjoyed our stay. It was just off a quiet road so easy access for our semi off road van. We were the only ones as it’s only one site so it was really peaceful. Plenty of area for our dogs to run ( we kept them on long leads so they wouldn’t get out under the fence ). Love the little fire pit just down on the flat part over looking the little river. Only minutes to tweed and not much further to the beach but you wouldn’t know it as your surrounded by farm land. The hosts very great with communication and instructions on how to find the site really easy to understand. We have already recommended to others and will be staying here again.
