Set on 35 acres on the banks of Charley Creek, it has a beautiful bush land setting adjacent to the creek. A truly tranquil experience. It is a dog friendly property. The story of Clover Hill Ranch- In 2019 our livestock enterprise was struggling with the ongoing drought. Water was getting very low and we were buying hay from Victoria. One day while checking stock on our grazing property Bradys (adjacent to Clover Hill Ranch) we looked across the near dry creek and said to each other - if we are going to endure this drought we need to do something different. So we were able to acquire Clover Hill Ranch which was then being run by the CMCA under a lease agreement to the then owners. Then Covid struck and the CMCA left Clover Hill Ranch. So we took it on ourselves and it has been a journey managing our four farming blocks Riverleigh; Coleridge; The Shanti and Bradys as well as Clover Hill Ranch. Fast forward and it is now April 2021 we absolutely love it; enjoy chatting with Campers about our story and we have even organised a Farm Tour route through all of our properties. The feedback has been amazing. We are continuously doing improvements to Clover Hill Ranch with many new Powered Sites with town water and new campsites right on the creek. And everyone loves it when we bring out our trailer mounted meat smoker to put on a smoked Wagyu feast! 9 nights at Charleys Creek Campgrounds

251109 - Being fully self-contained we chose a 'non-powered site' adjacent to the creek located away from all the powered sites to which there appeared to be plenty. Privacy is guaranteed with very easy level access for large rigs (we have a 24foot van plus a LC200) and we still had heaps of room to spare. Whilst we could only 'just' see our neighbours through all the trees of this well maintained property, in the far distance, we could not hear a thing. There are some amazing and very clean amenities. Great showers, toilets and laundry with a great family owned and operated private distillery on the property up at big shed that also accommodates saturday night entertainment and a cookout, worth the visit. Located not far from the centre of the Chinchilla township that is fully serviced with all the essential 'go to's for grocery, hardware, pubs etc etc you would not be short of finding what you are looking for. Don't forget to visit the Large Watermellon' slice so you can take your photo. It's a must do. Enjoy, have fun.

Our hosts were welcoming and guided us to campsite and gave advice for where to eat in town. Behind us were a couple of beautiful horses, to the left some curious cows and in front an amazing sunset. Simple and relaxing camping and bonus to have a rustic and clean flushing toilet on site.

Great open space with plenty of room for a drive thru site or large group with a big fire pit and amazing sunsets. Plenty to see around the area with the Bunya mountains up the road 20 minutes and the The Bun hotel five minutes away for a good feed and a cold beer with great service. Gav and Andria were very helpful on arrival and left us to enjoy our stay.

Had a wonderful time at Gav & Andria’s. We stayed for one night, wish we could have stayed longer. The grounds were super clean and well maintained. The firewood provided was of high quality and just the right amount. Cheap too! Our site had an epic sunset. Amenities block was well presented and we even got free puppy time with Michael (the dog). Will be back and hope to stay longer next time.

What a wonderful place to stay! Delightful hosts, well thought out campsites well apart from each other and the best part of all for naturalists and bird watchers is access to the rainforest at the rear of the property. I stayed two nights and only explored a fraction of what was available. I hope to be back again.

Spent a fantastic 4 days at Waverley Historic homestead. We enjoyed exploring the local area, but enjoyed just taking in the breath-taking sunset and the million star nights. Bunya's was 30 minutes away as is a few local towns and pubs. Gav and Andria were great friendly hosts. The grounds were well kept and we were free wonder around the property. Wasn't too busy for a long weekend and we had 2 nights with the whole place to ourselves. Our dog's had a ball with some areas they could run off their energy. Amenities were adequate for us, but you really need to be self contained. Flushing toilet not far away and water if you needed it to top up. Adding firewood bundle was also a great idea. Great location and vanue... we'll be back

Lovely property to camp on! There was plenty of space to put up our tents, shade from trees, firewood to pick from, and very kind hosts. We went for a kyack and swim in their swimming hole. It was a good spot to get into a green space and relax.
