I loved camping at Peter & Annette’s. The property is well maintained and a lovely camping spot. The amenities are fantastic and cleaned regularly. I would definitely recommend this camp spot and will be back again when out near Chincilla. Thanks Peter & Annette

Perfect spot, out of town (just) right off the highway. Peaceful and not too many bugs. Huge big spots. Perfect place for a stop over! We will return for sure.

Easy access only 2km from Warrego highway with heaps of space, large drive through sites and sqeaky clean unisex amenities blocks. Give it a go, you will love it.

Great spot. Kids had an awesome time riding laps of the camp ground. Clean amenities, and nice and friendly owners. The friendly sheep were an added bonus.

Stopped for an overnight and had a flat drive through site with power and water. Site was grassy and the on site facilities were nice and clean. Was able to have a fire on our site. Peter and Annette seemed like great people. They took our kids over to help feed the lambs in the afternoon and morning which was cool

Hidden gem campsite!

Chinchilla Country Camping is a hidden gem! It’s just out of town so it’s lovely and quiet and all the facilities are in great condition. The amenities block is spacious and there is an undercover outdoor kitchen. Peter and Annette are lovely and make their guests feel very welcome.

What an amazing, clean and quiet weekend my family had. Family friendly and safe for my little one to run around and bike around. Peter and Annette were so attentive and checked in on us each day and during a storm that rolled through. Have some sheep on the property that the kids liked saying hello to everyday. Sites are extremely spacious and double the size of other sites we have camped on with set zones. We will definitely be back to enjoy a quiet weekend retreat again soon.

Friendly hosts, nice big fire pit. Clean and well maintained toilets, showers and camp kitchen. Would recommend to anyone. Google maps will try and take you through their neighbours property though.

Beautiful Chinchilla

This is a beautiful spot to camp. So quiet. Only a few minutes from the township. Great amenities. Lovely kitchen area with dining table seating. Has a large communal firepit to use. A couple of shaded areas to set up next too. We had our dog. He was happy wondering around. Peter came and meet us and we had a great chat. I also loved the town of Chinchilla. The Botanic gardens were lovely to walk through in the afternoon. There is also a waterpark for the kids, big and small. We visited in January so it was hot. It was very refreshing playing in the water. Don't miss the massive piece of Watermelon

Chinchilla Country (Self contained)

A very nice spot. Seemed to be just next to the forest. Very quite. The kids enjoyed seeing the animals and playing with the dog. Peter was very friendly. A bonus was the campfire. Wood was provided. The facilities were clean and of a very high standard. Will definitely stay longer next time.
