Nisha was so kind and welcoming — she gave us a tour around the property, and our kids loved feeding the chickens. They had a great time running around and playing on the grass. We loved staying here, Kanwal made sure we had everything we needed and more (fresh coconuts for example). The amenities are undergoing a big overhaul which is nice, the shower is already new. The ambience was great. All you could hear at night were the animals out in the forest, we had hoped to see some but weren‘t as lucky. Tip: bring a torch if you don‘t want to step on a toad when you go to the toilet at night.

1 night at Three Falls Holiday Millaa Millaa

We had a lovely time staying at in Nisha’s garden in our campervan. Nisha was there to welcome us and help us set up, before giving us a tour of her lovely garden (thanks for the passionfruits!). Great to meet the Head of Gardening, Otto, as well. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking and looks like Australia’s answer to the Shire, complete with lots of cows. Nisha’s house is located very close to a series of waterfalls, the largest of which is Milla Milla, which I thoroughly recommend having a swim in. We spotted fresh water turtles whilst we were there.

had another awesome weekend at this lovely spot albeit wet n soggy to test out our new caravan. Our jack russell Jess had a mad time with Blue the resident border collie playing tug of war and swimming! Thanks Jodie for this top camp cant wait to come back!

What a delightful spot! Hosts are super friendly and helpful but also not intrusive. Their property is a lovely spot to relax and unwind right next to the pristine creek. Fish, turtles, butterfly’s and wallaby’s joined us for our stay. The addition of a very clean and maintained chemical toilet at the camp is an added bonus! Would definitely come back.

You will have access to our beautiful peaceful surroundings, with adequate shelter under some lovely big trees park your camper or pitch a swag. We also have a nice running creek that you can take a cooling down soak in or just enjoy watching our many wild life that are present throughout the creek, fish , eels and turtles. It's truly a very private and relaxing spot to chill out and enjoy camping for a few days or whatever suits your needs while passing the area. Plenty of fantastic swimming holes nearby including Josephine falls and Babinda boulders very popular spots for tourist and the locals. Site 1 right down on the creek large grass flat space big enough for two families to set up camp. The creek runs around the outside so there are a number of viewing points to see the wildlife mentioned above. A set of solar lights hang over the firepit area allowing for more light while cooking on our wonderful swinging hotplate BBQ. Site 2 Our newer spot work in progress not so ideal for camper trailers. your situated under our tree line away from the main creek but still with your own small dirt track down to the creek. A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night. So please check by internal message before confirming your booking that way we can confirm a spot while discussing your needs to ensure you have a clear view of your camping area. Flaggy Creek Caravan Camp is set on a private 260 acre rural property at the end of an unsealed road surrounded by the peace and serenity of state forest. A highlight is a beautiful permanent creek which meanders its way through the property for approximately 1 km and is habitat to platypus, turtles, an abundance of bird life with towering blue and rose gums. Take a dip on a hot day in one of several water holes including a large lagoon adjacent a mini waterfall surrounded by beautiful she-oaks. We have 4 available campsites, spread well apart (although visible) all with amazing views.. Maximum occupancy per campsite is 2 guests (of any age). All camp sites have their own fire pit (season permitting). We sell large crates of split firewood for $20 or you can collect your own from the property. Please do not bring firewood onto the property for bio security reasons. If you are traveling with friends and everyone wants to book a site with us we would be delighted to host you but please ensure that you set up your caravan/tent/swag individually at each site noting the maximum occupancy of 2 guests per site. Our 20-acre exotic fruit farm backs onto World heritage rainforest and provides a relaxing base for which to explore the wet tropics south of Cairns. We have a beautiful freshwater swimming hole down the road, and also the Mulgrave River is very close if you want to do some fishing.The camping area is large, grassy and reasonably level, with space closer to the tree line, and space more out in the open. There is a firepit provided, and plenty of firewood around the place for you to help yourself to. We also welcome four-legged family members! We have had recent sightings of cassowary on our property so keep an eye out, you might just see one!We prefer self-contained campers, who have their own amenities, but we do have a toilet and shower up at the main house (about 50 metres away) you are welcome to use if needed. This is an unused bathroom downstairs so you will still have privacy. Access into the property is not suitable for large motorhomes. Entry will be too small for vehicles approx 8.5 metres long and 3.5 metres high.We grow exotic fruit on the property including limes, pomelos, mangosteens and more. When it's in season, you're welcome to sample some! Gordonvale is the nearest town, with a quiet historic charm, just 15 minutes drive away, while Cairns is around 25 minutes.
