Relax around a campfire on a peaceful dam and listen to the kookaburras. Dip your toes into the cool water whilst sipping watching the sunset. It is 10km to the upgraded Fitzroy River/Thompson Point boat ramp and pontoon. Enjoy some excellent fishing and crabbing on the river, bird watching and bush walking up the many hills. This campsite is located at Captain Creek. 15kms from Agnes water 1770. on 40 acres with a seasonal creek. We have a lovely natural bush setting with privacy. Suited for off grid campers. You will see kangaroos and lots of bird life to watch. Our region is well known for surfing, however Agnes Water and 1770 are also home to calm inlets tailor-made for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. BYO paddleboard or explore the coastline and waterways by kayak. You can even paddle past Captain Cook’s landing point and on towards the headland to watch the sun set over the ocean (a rare sight on Australia’s East coast). Follow the trail or take your mountain bike along boardwalks and across stepping stones on the 1.5 hr, 3km Red Rock Trail. You can start your adventure at the end of Springs Beach and head south along rocky trails peppered with pandanus palms all the way to the far end of Red Rock Beach. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water and a picnic table for meals. Plenty of space for bushwalking or sit back around camp fire or just read books. There are some great mountain views to be seen while walking around and site seeing, and Eurimbula National Park is close by. For boating and fishing enthusiasts, the beach is just a few mins drive away. We're located close to Agnes Water for all your shopping and supply needs. Pets welcome.

23E was a quiet site while we were there but there were a few factors to consider. We found the site very Rocky which made setting up a tent difficult. It is a short distance from the bathrooms and camp kitchen. Maybe about 200m downhill. Other than that, the site was good as we could bring our dog. I would recommend this site for a stay of a few nights.

A million stars review for this place. I made a mistake with the booking date, and they helped me keep my reservation. When I noticed the error, we called to fix it, and the response was so fast that it really relieved us. The place is incredibly well equipped: the bathrooms were clean and in order, the kitchen was super well equipped, and the spaces are big and comfortable. There are fans, and the caretaker is available 24/7. I really recommend this place.

This is a photo of us camped on this beautiful property at Agnes Water, we are having a wonderful time relaxing. Campfire lit, chilling while listening to the beautiful birds. Only a minute down the road is an exquisite coast.

Ian and Tracy’s place was a peaceful, well-organised spot that made my first Hipcamp stay an easy yes to recommend. ## Peaceful setting - The setting had a calm, **quiet** feel that made it very easy to switch off and relax. - The site offered a real sense of space and privacy, so it never felt crowded or rushed. ## Well organised campsite - Everything was clearly set up and simple to navigate, from arrival through to finding the campsite and facilities. - The space was tidy and well cared for, which added to the feeling of comfort and ease during the stay. ## Helpful, welcoming hosts - Ian and Tracy were genuinely friendly and responsive, happy to answer questions and make sure everything went smoothly. - Their communication and guidance meant there was no stress, just a relaxed stay on land they clearly appreciate and look after. ## For future Hipcampers - Expect a peaceful, private place to unwind, with plenty of room to enjoy nature. I'm looking forward to returning in the winter to use the fire pits.

Fantastically kept camp site! Very well priced, very clean toilets and showers and even have free washing machine use. Lovely quiet space to enjoy the outdoors. I got there quite late but the caretaker still came out to greet me and show me the facilities.

We had a really great stay here. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. When we were going to grill, he not only came over to help us get everything ready, but he also sat with us while we grilled and we had a wonderful conversation. He even let us borrow some of his own kitchen equipment when we were missing a few things. Small gestures like that truly make a big difference.
