We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs.
We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling.

Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. There is also no charge or fee to use the court. On most Sundays afternoons (weather permitting), we have social tennis where everyone is welcome to join in.
The old school toilet blocks have the addition of hot showers and all toilet facilities are the flushing type.
Campfires are permitted and there are small mobile fire pits provided so wherever you set up camp you can have your campfire right beside you.
Note: There are no ground fires permitted and at certain times of the year Qld Rural Fire brigade may enforce a total fire ban.
We have our “Caffeine Injection” kiosk on-site for the weekends and school holidays. Get your morning caffeine fix as well as bagged ice, firewood, ice creams, snacks, cold drinks etc etc
Then we have the old school principals residence aka “The Bush Holiday House“. It is fully self-contained and all linen is provided.

Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. I camped down in a quiet wooded area to escape the rat race for a couple of days. There were tons of kangaroos and pademelons in the paddock nearby, and the bird life was amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the facilities were spotless. It was great having use of the kitchen especially when it rained.
I felt like I had access to everything I needed.

The caretakers were lively and very accommodating, showing us around the site. This is an extremely beautiful location. Anyone looking for a closeup experience either kangaroos will love it! In the evening kangaroos can be found lounging around the campsite.
The toilet block is meticulously clean and the hot showers were great.
The only caution when booking is that the sites are quite close together. Probably only 20 meters apart. However, the groups on each side were very respectful and no one bothered each other.
And don’t cover that if you’re there on a Friday and Saturday that the “Village Green” is open for pizza’s! As good as can be found anywhere!

Beautiful property with strong Farmer Wants a Wife energy — lush, perfectly kept grass, wide open space, and a big communal fire area with a camp kitchen/bar setup that makes you want to pour a drink and commit to rural life.
There’s a lovely creek running through the property which adds to that peaceful, tucked-away feel. It’s the kind of place where you instantly relax and settle into the surroundings.
The hosts were fantastic. Warm, welcoming and genuinely thoughtful — they even seemed to know I was at the gate before I’d fully worked out where I was. You can tell they care about guests and have everything dialled in.
Facilities were excellent. Clean shower and toilet, and the communal area is ideal for escaping the heat or settling in for a proper campfire evening.
A beautiful, well-maintained property with a relaxed rural vibe. Would happily return.

Lalipanzi is an absolute hidden gem, and it is the most well set up Hipcamp I have been to! Rodger has done a wonderful job setting up the campsite with EVERYTHING you could possibly dream of. It was the perfect place to relax with my group of friends after hiking the nearby Tabletop Mountain (definitely check it out!). Rodger and Jenny have made the most comfortable campsite I have ever stayed at. They are naturally wonderful hosts and were so helpful and kind, assisting us with some 4WD trouble up the track (it was pretty full on! A very cool experience but be sure your car is cut out for it) and gave us a tour of the campsite and its facilities. This campsite had absolutely everything you could ever need. Solar powered fridge, sink, drying rack, cleaning cloths and soaps, pots and pans, a gas burner, trash cans, hand soaps, USB chargers, teas and coffees, all sorts of cutlery and dishes, a first aid kit. Quite literally everything you could ever need. I spent the whole trip thinking ‘that is such a great idea!’
It is clear that Rodger and Jenny put so much effort into their beautiful campsite and we were so blessed to be able to stay there.

This was the best Hipcamp that I have stayed at thus far. I went with my two large bread dogs and we camped in a tent. The view was stunning, it truly felt like a private getaway. Rodger and Jenny have set up a fantastic site with everything you could need, including a full kitchen, pots, pans, stove, kettle and a fridge. The bathroom is also fantastic and the shower was lovely and refreshing during the heatwave. Rodger and Jenny were also incredible hosts, meeting me upon arrival and helping get my gear up to the site as I only have a 2WD. We will absolutely be back!!

Love the space the oval provides as more campers joined us it still didnt feel crowded. Toilets/bathroom were very neatly kept and always stocked. Cooking and wash up area provided everything you need in case you forgot your own. All in all an amazing place to camp will definitely be back at some point

We loved our stay! Great communication, very private. Beautiful facilities, a plunge pool with bar area, a dam to swim in as well. We camped a bit further away from the showers / loo at our own choice as we were a larger group. Brian didn't fail to notify us when a storm was about to hit. All in all a great experience!
