Yes: Rocky Creek Homestead is the venue for ""Camping with Goats"! Not only enjoy a quiet and lazy morning with a seasonal creek running along the outlook from your camp site, but you will also love our goats, and they will love you visiting, especially our goat named "Squirt", who thinks he is a dog. You will be camping with them as they roam around your camp site. We have 130 acres to explore and welcome caravans, tents and RVs. Later in the day you can walk or pushbike ride the many trails then perhaps enjoy a swim in one of the swimming holes (weather permitting). On dusk enjoy a wine, beer and some cheese by the campfire while watching the goats with their kids play. Mountain bike the many trails or walk around at sunrise to spot the many birds, wallabies, possums and the occasional koala as we are wildlife habitat. We do have a Portable toilet onsite, however, no showers and campers must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under owners' control at all times. We are located 15 minutes from Toowoomba for shopping, dinning and 5 minutes to Withcott hotel or 10 to Murphy's Creek hotel both great country pubs. Children under 4 are free.

Tucked away on a small hobby farm backing directly onto Sheep Station Conservation Park, this is a peaceful, no-frills spot for guests who enjoy the simple things in life. You’ll be sharing the property with four sheep, three silky chickens, two cheeky geese, and a friendly alpaca — plus our three young boys. There is a bathroom (cold water only) and small kitchenette available up at the "shed". A fire pit is available for your use, with plenty of firewood available. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash due to the farm animals and surrounding conservation area. Please make sure you always shut the gate when coming and going to prevent our sheep wondering off the farm. Please note that the dam is more for scenery than swimming.

Great place to come and enjoy nature whilst still close to local shops, beaches and cafes. As the name suggests, the property is on a hill in Glenview Sunshine Coast, we have some flat areas perfect for camping or caravan set-ups with some spectacular views out over the Sunshine Coast and local bush land which you may see some local kangaroos or spot the local black cockatoos, and stunning views of the stars on clear nights. Dog and children friendly. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. No toilets or potable water available - please bring your own. Access to the property is via a gravel road. Due to the condition of the driveway, an SUV or 4WD vehicle is most suitable to access the property.

Amazing spot. Creek was low but the new dam is great (full and clean - awesome spot for a swim). Great camping spot, well looked after and recently mowed. (Mower also in the firewood shed if you need it!) The firewood is great and great value. Few porta-loos around the property that are always clean. I was very surprised by the low amount of people at the property- must be a great kept secret - saw less than 10 people over the entire new years period. Try the goat pie and goat curry - both amazing.

An amazing place to get away from it all. It's quite a drive (25 mins) to drive into the property so I'd plan to just stay while there. So I recommend you take in everything you need! Lots of beautiful trees and some lovely views to walk to.. The hosts were lovely, and I really enjoyed my communications with them.

Pete and Andrea are lovely and very helpful. The location is central for visiting Beerwah/Maleny/Caloundra. I stayed one night to rest up. Price was perfect. More road noise than I expected for being surrounded by the bush. But a great stay all the same.

Great for a brief one night stay for a ute with roof top tent. Not much more space for anything larger as it sits between a ledge and their driveway. Stunning views of the mountains and very quiet and great photo opportunities with the swing. Very very friendly cows gate crashed the camp site a few times 😉

Craig was very kind and helpful with getting me into the musings of Brisbane by Ferry. Water is there. Power for those who need it. It is a safe place and the highway can be heard at night, but not felt. So, when I need a place within Brisbane again, I believe this is an affordable Option for some days.

Directions and communication were clear. Price was good. Surrounds were beautiful. Fire pits for each site and options on where to camp within each site were good too. It was peaceful. Pretty. Inviting. I would stay here again for sure! The goat curry was so yumm and good help when I made enquiries about my food intolerances. I got to camp in a thunderstorm and the place was even more beautiful the morning after. There was one goat who was very friendly and I enjoyed watching the shaggy cows stand in the creek and the kids chase each other up the banks. This was a very good experience

It was my friend’s first time camping, so we came prepared with portable aircon and all creature comforts. Didn’t need the ac as the breeze at the site was incredible, no flies, no insects. Amazing views and a fun swing. Keen to come back!

1 night at Belmont Base Camp

This camp close to motorway which was great for us to get our running around done. It is a large grassy block with a lovely breeze. The block is utilised to store some other vans but we were the only campers at the time. We really appreciated the early check in and late check out. Having access to power and water made it a great spot to recharge before we continued on our way. Most places we looked at in Brisbane had a minimum 2 -3 night stay and at least twice the price.
