Relax around a campfire on a peaceful dam and listen to the kookaburras. Dip your toes into the cool water whilst sipping watching the sunset. It is 10km to the upgraded Fitzroy River/Thompson Point boat ramp and pontoon. Enjoy some excellent fishing and crabbing on the river, bird watching and bush walking up the many hills. Only 1/2 hr. drive to the beaches (Emu Park and Yeppoon), National Parks (Mt Etna Caves, Mt Archer Baga, Limestone Creek), and Rockhampton (Kershaw Gardens and Rockhampton Free Zoo). Campfires in the firepits provided on each site. Pre-cut fire wood for sale on site. Pets are welcome, however the must be kept within your allocated campsite area and supervised at all time. (Dogs are not allowed to chase livestock or native animals). Quiet genset are also allowed. Definitely no boats to be backed into the dam for washing purposes. Fish cleaning and boat washing facilities at the solar bore near front entrance. Telstra mobile reception. TV reception with antenna. We a setup for fully self contained camping, however there is a basic bush shower/toilet available for our campers. The dam is a pristine eco area and no soap/detergents/chemicals to used in/around it. The dam is stocked with silver perch and bass – catch and release. Pull in to a quiet bush setting, set up your fire pit for the evening and grab a drink and enjoy the birds come to life, perhaps see the wild horses, and cattle or the kangaroos, emus or brolgas go past. Enjoy a day trip to the stunning Blackdown Tablelands or simply relax in the beautiful surroundings. Bring your bikes for a ride on the dirt tracks. For safety though remember to supervise your kids at all times as we have open waterways and dams so there are some hazards. Also remember that eastern brown snakes are in this region so be snake aware. If you bring your pets they need to be on a leash at all times so that they are safe, there are sometimes Dingoes and wild pigs that wander through the property seasonally. There is some mobile phone service at the campsites but not always. We look forward to helping you enjoy your stay on our property. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided.

It is 10km to the upgraded Fitzroy River/Thompson Point boat ramp and pontoon. Enjoy some excellent fishing and crabbing on the river, bird watching and bush walking up the many hills. Only 1/2 hr. drive to the beaches (Emu Park and Yeppoon), National Parks (Mt Etna Caves, Mt Archer Baga, Limestone Creek), and Rockhampton (Kershaw Gardens and Rockhampton Free Zoo). Campfires in the firepits provided on each site. Pre-cut fire wood for sale on site. Pets are welcome, however the must be kept within your allocated campsite area and supervised at all time. We have over 100 different varieties of dragon fruit, with each one having different foliage characteristics and tastes, like watermelon, lime, coconut, lychee and more. Half of our 3.7 Acres is farm forestry that we are building a syntropic farm in. We are 5km from the beach, 4.5 km from the nearest supermarket and 13km from 1770 headland. 12km to the north we have Eurimbula National Park where you can explore middle creek and Eurimbula creek. 8km to the South we have Deep-Water National Park, where you can discover by 4wd some amazing uncrowded beaches. Close by we have Agnes Water main beach, Workman’s beach, Chinamans beach and Springs beach to explore. 1770 headland offers a short walk with an amazing view. Every second Sunday at the 1770 rotary park we have a local market which is a great place to pick up fresh fruit and veg. Our region is well known for surfing, however Agnes Water and 1770 are also home to calm inlets tailor-made for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. BYO paddleboard or explore the coastline and waterways by kayak. We are located close to Rockhampton and Gladstone.A beautiful and peaceful spot on a working herb and cattle farm. Once a year in July the property lights up with a music festival and then quietens back down for the rest of the year.There is toilet facilities, the best ever hot showers, fire pits with wood available to purchase and lots of space. Pets are allowed but must remain on leash and cleaned up after.In the area is Mt Scoria a volcano rock formation which has resulted in angular shaped basalt rocks - the site is a cultural site for the Gangulu people. Check out our annual music festival -  winterfestbiloela.com.au
