Please note, if there is lots of rain, the track to the creek can get very muddy and difficult. If access is compromised due to weather, there are alternative spaces you can set up camp. We accept tent and 4WD camper trailers only, please no caravans or motorhomes. Our property is dog-friendly, keeping in mind it is a working cattle property.  Children under 12 stay free. We have a tranquil camp area on Bungo Creek flats, great for families to enjoy nature, and a beautiful private site on the Ridge, with expansive, peaceful views.  The creek campsites have easy access to the toilets and non-potable water.  Coorie Vale is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers - go rock hopping exploring the creek and relax under the stars around the campfire.  It is steep country down to the creek, so a 4WD is an absolute must. Please note, if there is lots of rain, the track to the creek can get very muddy and difficult. If access is compromised due to weather, there are alternative spaces you can set up camp. We accept tent and 4WD camper trailers only, please no caravans or motorhomes. Our property is dog-friendly, keeping in mind it is a working cattle property.  Children under 12 stay free. Please still add them to your booking so we can monitor numbers, they will not be charged. Over Christmas, Coorie Vale is a great spot to base yourself for the Woodford Folk Festival (15-minute drive).

Some tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness and others include more challenging grades including rock scrambling skills. There are other challenging summit routes and climbing sites for experienced rockclimbers and abseilers. Or you might want to pull up a hammock and just laze the day away.

It can be a steep or slippery walk down to the creek, depending on the weather and if the creek has recently risen or flooded. Easily accessible by 2WD as long as its not too wet. Suitable for tents, caravans, RVs etc Dogs allowed but must be supervised at all times and chained/locked up at night or if being a nuisance. All campers must be fully self sufficient. NO TOILETS NO ELECTRICITY NO WATER Camp fires permitted but subject to local fire bans/restrictions. BYO firewood. Firewood also available for purchase from neighbours just up the road. This is a working farm, so we are not always hanging out at the house, and often out in the paddock, So as a courtesy can you please give an estimated arrival time so we can meet you at the house and then take you down and show you the campsite.

Absolutely loved our stay at WoopWoop! This was the first camping trip for the two of us without any “camping expert friends,” and WoopWoop turned out to be the perfect choice. I chose this campsite for its location and amenities, and I have zero regrets — we’re already looking forward to coming back, and I highly recommend it to others. The site and facilities were exceptionally clean and very well maintained by Peter & Doris, who welcomed us with genuine warmth. We added firewood to our booking and Wow, I was pleasantly surprised by the great quality of it. Plus, the little bit of 4WD driving required to enter the site added an extra layer of fun to the experience! If this was in middle of year, I would already made another booking :) 10/10!!

Bushy Woods is an absolute gem! Bushy himself is a legend — genuinely welcoming, down-to-earth, and always making sure everyone feels right at home. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings.
