Awesome little well-kept site tucked away beside a flowing creek with plenty of space for a group. The area was mostly flat and the provided ammentities made camping with kids that much easier. Ryan was welcoming and gave plenty of tips about where to explore and what to see at different times of the day (most we will have to try next time as it rained for us unfortuantely). We would defintely return.

The site was beautiful, so much space, great fire pit and we felt like it was nice and private but not too far from the amenities. The animals were definitely a highlight, with the Alpacas visiting our campsite. The property had beautiful views out over the hills and valley. What a gorgeous place to get away from the hustle and bustle, and just a short drive from Gold Coast! My daughter and I camped for one night, but we will be back. Lovely tree lined driveway where campers can set up (nice for large groups to be together there), we saw other campers in the distance on the hill well away from the goings on. There is one shower, and one toilet but they were so clean. Lovely family farm. If you love animals, visit, they have lots of rescues that run around freely. So sweet!

We had a great time at Swan Gully. Being the long weekend in NSW it was busy the first night then quieter the second night which was much nicer. Facilities were great, and the 4wd tracks were solid! Very popular 4wd location. We took the tame tracks but there were some epic ones if you wanted them. The kids had so much fun, playing with Kylie and Dom's little ones which was a bonus!

My partner and I had a great time at One Tree Hill. The camp sites are clean, quiet and offer great views. Guy is a great host, accomodating our late request for firewood. The animal feed is a must buy, we will definitely stay again.

We spent the weekend staying at the Curtain Fig Drive site. The farm is stunning and the Hosts were amazing. The farm had animal feeding, creeks at the front and back to explore and all the amenities you need. We camped with 2 small kids and the site felt safe and so many animals around to see and interact with. Would recommend to anyone with kids or even off grid camping on the back sites. 5 starts

We loved camping on Dave and Julie’s land, it was so peaceful and scenic. We were expecting more space between campers but they turned out to be friendly and not noisy. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather so stargazing and camp fires were so enjoyable. Many fellow campers had dogs and our dog loved to interact with them on walks. The boardwalk to the bathroom was oddly bouncy. We would stay there again.

Enclosed Kids Space, very very tame sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys n geese and a jumping castle onsite which is open 9am to 2pm daily. (Note: campers can use for free) 2. Our licenced cafe onsite is open from 7am and serves delicious coffee, breakfasts, lunches, cold beer and on Friday nights - fish n chips! Got a group? We can make dinner for you with notice. Want a cold beer while the kids play in the kids space? We have it here for you. 3. Your camping area creek side is for tent camping only. The sites are a metre from the tree lined creek edged with giant granite boulders and water running most of the year. Cross the sandy creek bed by 4wd to unpack your tent and set up. Your car can be parked safely next to it. 4. Have a pop top? Then we have spaces in a more public space next to a narrow creek spot depending on your size. 5. What else? We have a shower n toilet located a short walk from your site via torch light or bring your own portable toilet. Town water is available as well. 6. Please note that we are next to a road and as such, you will have some road noise so as much as the location is highly convenient if you want absolute silence, this is not the place for you.

Tappy's Tours and Camping

The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums. The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

We have set aside a grass paddock at the entry of our property Scenic rim Adventure Park that does have access to 2 powered campsites. These sites are suitable for single vehicles mobile homes, or a large caravan . We do not charge for children under 5 years of age so make sure when booking children their ages are between 5 and 16 years of age. Tamrookum creek is a dry creek bed unless it is raining. Should you wish to go swimming we are located in the center of the Scenic rim Region with dams and rivers a short 20-minute drive away. Check out our local tourist group Destination Scenic Rim for activities available throughout our region. Entry into SRAP is not included in these site fees. If you’re wanting to get away from crowed campsites because you need to have power these two sites located in a grass paddock are for you. Across the fence you can watch the cows take their daily walks, listen to the birds, count the wallabies, and hare's. You can go bush walking or ride a pushbike if you’re fit. We have tank water for washing but you will need to bring your own drinking water as we do not monitor our tanks. There is a toilet and showers located within walking distance.

We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy.
