The access road is a wide, smooth dirt road, but rather steep in places hence 4WD vehicles. I had 3 awesome days there, close to the swim spot, it’s beautiful and relaxing. Doctor T was so kind with me, he has also good stories to tell you, I would recommend to everyone who want to have a couple days relaxing on the nature. I will comeback soon.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the property. It was very picturesque and we loved spotting the turtles and koi in the creek. Dr T was also very welcoming and friendly, which made us feel at ease. We were lucky enough to see two peachicks, which was a special highlight. The campground itself was very quiet, with only three campers on the property. Unfortunately, the neighbouring home across the creek was quite noisy at times, with lawn mowing on Friday evening and children playing loudly in the pool on Saturday, which detracted somewhat from the otherwise peaceful setting. It was also much closer to the road than expected and could hear cyclists chatting and loud cars. In addition, the facilities would benefit from more regular cleaning. The female toilet was not usable due to cleanliness and odour, and while the facilities would have been sufficient if cleaned, this did impact our overall experience.

It was an absolute oasis of calm! we were the only ones there at the time witch made it even more so. That was a plus side but at the same time a bit of a downside, it was very dark at night and with no other travelers made it a little bit spooky sometimes. the shower/toilets were fine. we did get an encounter with a big frog in there but other then that :) Overall had a lovely stay and the host (docter T) is a very kind man!

Nice & close to everything but quiet & peaceful surrounded by nature on the creek We stayed over New Years & we were only one of four campers. Loved seeing the gorgeous peacocks, including a white one & baby chicks. Although we wanted power we didn’t end up using it as we preferred a site which wasn’t under trees or near the water pump/bathrooms. The toilet & shower were spacious & modern (flushing toilets), the shower head was a mist (but good for saving water), they needed a good clean. It was a pleasure meeting Doctor T, he is a friendly lovely host.

We had a lovely time and found Doctor T to be very friendly, hospitable and accomodating. Each camping space is spaced out along the creek so it was very private and felt like we were the only campers there. We enjoyed having lots of our own space, the privacy and the serenity of the surroundings. Thank you for a nice stay!

Dr T is very approachable and easy to contact. The campsite is secluded and lovely, rustic one could say. Our concern is about Motorhome access which it clearly stated he could accommodate. We spoke directly with Dr T prior to coming regarding the concern of access and being able to accommodate our 8m Motorhome, especially as both days we would be leaving early and returning in the evening. He assured it would be fine. We arrived and the dirt road quickly turned into a track, we were unable to turn around so kept going. The cement causeway we were warned that it looks it is breaking away but was perfectly safe to drive over or around: this was not possible! The causeway was very narrow with no guard rails and no place to drive around or turn around, we had to drive over damaged part. Upon arriving at the site, Dr T was polite, listened to our concerns but stated we were the first ever to complain. He also made a comment about our inability to drive a Motorhome (I did find this condescending) On a side note our 'power' site meant connecting to the inside of the ladies bathroom which meant no guest would be able to close the door. Overall I think the site is lovely for camping, campervans or camper trailers but it is definitely NOT for a motorhome and not if you need power.

A very peaceful place to camp, has a creek & beautiful peacocks. We feel safe and very relaxed and hope to come back again when we can. Clean & spacious bathrooms with hot water & purified water to use.

I had a wonderful experience at this camp! The view is absolutely stunning, and the place itself is beautiful, filled with great energy. Dr. T and Richard took excellent care of us, making the experience even more special. I truly believe it’s worth visiting — I highly recommend it!

Overall was only 2 other couples there over the Easter weekend which was nice and peaceful. Grounds were nice except after the cyclone abit of trees had fallen however no major issues getting through to the site/grounds. Had a pleasant stay would recommend

A wonderful relaxing and private shady camp site overlooking the water - we loved the fish & turtles. Also the peacocks roaming around were so special. Dr T was a delight and he showed us around the property and the area. We can't wait to go back!

Dr T's property is a magical getaway in the heart of Tallebudgera. Camping amidst the lush trees and overlooking and hearing the running stream is such a tranquil experience that makes you forget you are only 20 minutes or so away from the bustle of the gold coast. The property has lots of little areas to explore and the facilities are top notch. Dr T is a gracious and friendly host and I would highly recommend this stay.

It was extremely peaceful sitting by the creek, I slept well and rested very well. Easy to find, and easy for parking and getting to the shower, and toilet. It was just what I was after for journalling, meditations, and reading my book for a small solo get away.

A very peaceful, relaxing spot in the bush. Doctor T was welcoming and friendly. The bathroom area did need some TLC and was smelly but everything else was good. We especially enjoyed hiking on the property and the view from the top was amazing. Thank you.

If you are looking for a camping spot immersed in nature and with a great vibe, this is what you are looking for! You are allowed camp fires. Dr T is a fantastic host who has an amazing property. I parked up in my van for 5 days and loved the peace and serenity. My stress levels went down 50% and I got some much needed rest and relaxation. Close to Burleigh Heads for anyone who surfs and swims or needs supplies. The area around is surrounded by rain forest with walking tracks up the top of the property with amazing views over TallebudgeraValley. Clean shower and toilet facilities. Great bush camping and an epic swimming hole. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a relaxing camping experience to come check it out.

Dr Ts sanctuary is easily one of the best campsites I’ve ever been too. I ended up extending my stay by a whole week! He only takes a very small number of bookings and it’s a massive property so plenty of space to have complete quiet and privacy from others. I’ve never slept so well. I highly recommend one of the shady spots under the trees by the river (which you can also swim and lounge in); but there are so many different little ecosystems to choose from. The property itself is beautiful; rainforest and grasslands and the river and mountain views and plenty of wildlife to befriend. And yet still so close to Burleigh Heads if you want to pop down to one of the cafes or restaurants or beaches there. Highlights also included enjoying breakfast every morning with the peacocks coming to visit. And Dr T is warm and generous in his hospitality. I would highly recommend staying here. It’s my new favourite spot, so Ill certainly be back. A sacred piece of Country indeed. Thanks Dr T!

What a wonderful start to the year! My partner and I spent a blissful 3 days here and were welcomed to this special land with warmth and community! Dr T was an excellent, accommodating and friendly host! We both could not recommend this place more, and to those lucky enough to gravitate towards this place for a stay, i hope that you take all of this wonderful energy home with you to share with the world!
