Pets are welcome, but they must be kept on a lead at all times, as there are working Maremmers and station dogs in the area.

Lovely, quiet spot to camp at Higgins Country Retreat. Beautiful creek (can be difficult to enter for a swim if you're not sure-footed). No phone service but if this doesn't worry you, I highly recommend. This is our second time here and we were on Site 1. Anna is a responsive, welcoming host and the site was well maintained and plenty of firewood was available.

Great little spot. Plenty of room at site 1 for an off road caravan roof top tent and swags for the kids. With room to spare. Plenty of fire wood around with a nice pile left for us on arrival. Short walk down the bank to a nice sallow spot for the smaller kids to swim or a short walk up stream for a bit deeper water. Heaps of wild life to see. Only a short drive back onto Warwick for when you inevitably forget to pack something. Will definitely be back again.

We stayed on site 1 and it was a beautiful, serene spot amongst the trees. The sound of the nearby creek was lovely, and access to firewood and a recycling bin was appreciated. Anna was very welcoming and gave us all the info we needed. We'd love to stay again.

We loved the wide open, rustic site with the cows meandering by :-). We were certainly surprised when we wandered up to the lookout area - what an absolute gem! This is a great spot to view the ranges that surround or to star gaze at night. Shane & Kyley were extremely welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. We would happily return :-)
