Welcome to Longreach Tourist Park. Here, under starry skies and big horizons, you’ll find true-blue Aussie outback hospitality and an easy, comfortable base to explore Longreach. Longreach sits in Central West Queensland on the Thomson River, an outback hub between Winton, Ilfracombe and Barcaldine, around 700 km west of Rockhampton. It’s home to the Qantas Founders Museum and the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame, with streets named after birds, wide-open skies, and a relaxed country pace. Stay close to it all at Longreach Tourist Park. Explore nearby museums, then stroll to the river cruise pick-up right out front of reception under the shady trees.
