Georgia was an amazing host. Met us on the track in, guided us to our camp site. Made sure we were ok and looked after us the whole time we were there, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. The night sky, was just superb. We saw kangaroos, cattle grazing some birdlife. Highly recommend Leander Station. The views and the solitude were exactly what we were after. Thank you Georgia.

The Leander Lookout
Very private site with spectacular night skies. We were entirely on our own and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. An outback experience very close to town.
Pets welcome but the site has a lot of burr vegetation with very fine sharp spines. Wouldn't take my dog there to be honest. Otherwise, a lovely spot.

Nice spot for camping. Far enough from Longreach that the night sky is clear. We saw emu's, goats & kangaroos on the way in. Nice view from the lookout.

This is a very special place with 360 views unspoilt by any sign of modern life. We stayed an extra night to relax and unwind in this beautiful location and will definitely return. Warm thanks to Georgia & Toby.

Camping at Leander Station was amazing! It was exactly what we expected and more! Quiet, stunning view and freedom!
Georgia is awesome. Super friendly and helpful and our kids had a ball! We will be returning!

Great spot just 20 mins out of Longreach. 270 degree unreal views and great to watch the sunset.

Perfect spot if you enjoy camping without neighbours.
The view,the sunrise and sunsets are just spectacular.
Hosts are very warm and welcoming nothing was too much trouble.

We loved our stay at Leander Lookout. It was so peaceful and the views were amazing. The sunset was gorgeous. Georgia and Toby stopped by for a chat and were very nice. If we’re in the area, we would certainly stay again.

The Leander Lookout
What a fantastic spot!! We absolutely loved it. If you're after complete privacy and seclusion while camping, this is for you. We relaxed and played board games, and at night watched the zillions of stars, comets and satellites out there. We will miss it dearly until we come back!! Hosts Toby amd Georgia are awesome and brought us fruits and some meat to sample, and showed our kids the goats and horses. Thank you so so SO much to the Whips for sharing your paradise with us.
