This campsite is on a property in Wollumbin national park which is currently closed to outside visitors so you will get to enjoy the magic of the rainforest without the crowds. There is a creek running through the property which you can explore and is a 5 minute walk from the camp site.
You are welcome to climb to the top of the property if you are physically up for the challenge and take in breath taking views of both Mount warning up close and the surrounding area.
This is a private camp site with its own fire pit area. Mount warning is currently closed to the public to climb but there is plenty of creeks, a swimming hole close by and land to explore.
A 10 minute drive takes you to the quaint town of Uki and 25 minutes and you're in the country town of Murwillumbah. Please Note: This is 4WD access only.

As part of this we have to follow some simple protocol! Unfortunately, we have had some issues with local council which now monitor our movements closely and we ask that you follow these simple rules extremely closely failure to do may cause us to reject your booking and may incur penalties to both of us as the landholders and also the camper.
1. STRICTLY No Caravans, RV's, Tents or Any Camping site is to be set up within 50 meters of the creek.
2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds treat it like you would a national park.
4. All waste must be bagged and taken off site with you.

I highly recommend staying at this site. Tom and Patrick were very accomodation and prompt in their response. The site is beautiful, has great access to a creek for swimming and is private. I have nothing bad to say whatsoever. 10/10

The campsite couldn’t have been better. The water had a perfect mix of shallow and deeper spots, making it ideal for swimming and canoeing. Waking up to a surprise visit from the cows in the morning made it even more special — the kids had an unforgettable time!

Sarabah Creek Camping is honestly one of the most amazing spots we’ve stayed at. It’s so close to the Gold Coast, yet it feels completely peaceful and secluded.
The campground is beautiful, it was incredible to fall asleep to the sound of the water and the creek was so fresh to swim in. The site feels very private, the bathroom was clean and it was easy to access the campsite!!
You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the grounds and making sure guests have a great stay.
Sarabah Creek Camping is an absolute gem. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a beautiful weekend at Selah! We had a large group of us but the mountain view site was super spacious and allowed us to spread out. We had the most amazing view of Mt Warning in the mornings with the clouds, it was perfect! The team really went all out to make our stay enjoyable, from feeding the cows to farm fresh eggs and swims in the creek, we’ll definitely be back!

This might just be one of the most beautiful Hipcamps we’ve ever stayed at. The creeks were stunning and perfect for a swim, and the sites tucked along the water with natural shade made it such a peaceful, relaxing spot. Lush green grass, loads of space, and not overcrowded at all. The toilets were spotless too. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back! 🌿✨

Beautiful location that was easy to find and the facilities were amazing. We had a powered site for a caravan and it had everything easily accessible. We brought dogs and tucked ourselves in a corner and had just an amazing time. Value for money and the view is to die for. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a great stay.

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, very well maintained, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. We stayed with 4 adults, one baby, and our dog, and everything was perfect for our group.
We absolutely loved the views and the overall vibe such a special place to relax and enjoy nature. Due to the hot weather, we asked to change from the mountain spot to the river, and they were more than happy to help and make it happen, which we really appreciated.
We truly had the time of our lives and will definitely be coming back many more times. Highly recommend!

Massive campsites, so you're not on top of one another, yes they are pricey and not for everyone, but worth it if you want the space, peace and quiet, the ground's are immaculate, and what's not to love camping beside a creek.

A great little campground near the creek. I felt a little disoriented by the signage as there didn’t seem to be any signs saying “Tyalgum Showgrounds” but I trusted google and I arrived safely and at the time I expected. The office staffer was super friendly despite being pulled pillar to post. Check-in was simple since I paid via Hipcamp. Bathrooms were clean and showers were hot! The dump point saved me some extra kms on the way home, too! The grassy camp site was perfect for having my doggos with me (extra glad the mowing was done a week prior so most of the cuttings had blown away).

This Property was one of the most pristine and well looked after properties! It definitely felt like a high end camping experience. We had the most relaxing weekend and the hosts were so great with help and communication.
Loved that we could buy eggs straight from the chickens 🙌🏼

The Tyalgum Camp Grounds is lovely.
Beautiful grassed areas and lovely clean amenities. Easy access to Tyalgum Village and pub is a plus.
A close by fruit bat colony is fascinating. However, the noise and aroma might be of putting for some.
I suggest camper check for bat droppings on vehicles each morning as the acidity of the droppings can damage duck.

Great location near everything in Tyalgum. The camp grounds and amenities are well looked after. Showers and toilets very clean! Looks like they’ve recently played some trees to help add some much needed shade around the sites which will definitely improve things in the hotter months once they grow. Overall great spot for our little weekend away before school goes back
