We are a working family farm set on over 150 acres on the beautiful Mary River, located in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. We offer 4 peaceful sites with direct river frontage for self-contained caravans, campers and tents. WE DO NOT HAVE TOILET OR SHOWER FACILITIES. Campfires permitted in fire pits provided. We offer complimentary kayaks and tyre tubes for guests use, BYO life jackets if required. Bring your fishing rod and fish from your camp or a kayak. It is expected that all guests treat our kayaks and tyre tubes with respect. The road to the campsite is an all-weather access road. The campsite is also easily accessible with 2WD vehicles. A FAIR USE POLICY applies to guests who intend to camp as one party. Please DO NOT book separate sites. If you have a big group and want to have the campsite to yourself, then please head to our 'Entire Private Group' site. *Firewood available by the bag to purchase. (private contractor) The Mary River water level is determined on rain fall. I will make personal contact with all campers when flooding occurs. The River is flowing beautifully at the moment.. Each vehicle must bring and use its own self-contained portable toilet and portable shower; The use of the property’s land and surrounding area for toileting, washing, or grey water discharge is strictly prohibited; Washing, bathing, or disposing of any waste water in the river or on the ground is strictly prohibited; All human waste, grey water, and associated waste materials must be removed from the site upon departure and disposed of at an appropriate off-site facility. If your dog is not friendly with other humans and dogs unfortunately its not welcome Only 9 minutes from the bruce highway, situated down a quiet dirt road on the side of the beautiful Maroochy River you will find river rd ranch. River rd ranch is at heart of the sunshine coast being only a 10 minute drive to Coolum beach and Yandina, 25 to 30 minutes to noosa, mooloolaba, Maroochydore beaches, Sunshine Plaza, bars and restaurants! Being only 20 minutes to the sunshine coast airport it’s a great opportunity to park up your big or small touring rig to head interstate at short notice if required. This amazing property has views of mt Coolum and mt Nindery with some of the best sunrise and sunsets around. With easy access to the property we can also cater for larger caravans and big groups of people. Being on the river there is option for fishing and crabbing, we are only a few hundred meter walk to the Yandina Creek Wetlands walking trails. Camp Fires are allowed on site. (unless fire bans are in place ) fire wood available 20kg = $20 (cash only sorry due to a few nonpayers) Pets are welcome but we must respect our Neighbours with horses and other campers so must be friendly retrained at all times. Please remember pick up after your fury friends as we have other guests here we have 3 - 4 sites right on the river and another 3 - 4 sites in our paddock with a section allowing our paddock guests to have access to the river to do all activities All waste to be taken away when you leave. please remember there are no toilet facilities onsite and you will be refused entry if you do not have your own

Sites my be cancelled at any time by the owner if considered unsafe or dangerous eg extreme weather conditions Bush camping nestled between paperbark trees and adjoining State Forest and minutes to Lake Cooroibah and the Noosa River. Camp kitchen with small fridge and Town water. Fire pit close by. Easily accessible to Noosa's beautiful beaches, restaurants and shops. The Apollonian Hotel and Eumundi Markets are a short drive away. Watch the Sunset while sitting around the campfire also fish from a kayak in the Lake and see the birdlife and enjoy the tranquillity.

There are three sites on the lower river flat, all separated giving privacy. Kayaks are kept in a designated site for all to use.

Great camp spot, right on the river, peaceful and quite, who could ask for more. Libby is an excellent hostess. She goes above and beyond to make sure that your stay is one that you want to remember. However in saying that, please do the right thing and have some respect leaving the area how you found it. Take your shit and rubbish with you and dispose of it in the correct place.

Its a great camp site. Right by the river. Libby is an excellent host. Down to earth & helpful. Sadly she is fed up with campers abusing her hospitality by burying their toilet waste on site. What they don't understand is that it contaminates the soil. Kills grass & will most likely wash out in the next flood. Do it & you you may not be allowed back. Well done Libby.

A lovely spot along the Maroochy River. Nicely mown grounds with a tranquil outlook over the river. Grant (& family) were lovely to deal with. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place this is it (the odd aircraft taking off from SC Airport made a bit of noise but not very often). Heaps of space for bigger groups or for a game of footy/cricket. We will be back again for sure!

The best thing is it’s an absolutely banging spot!! The flat ground near the river allows you to setup camp close by the water and cook on the Barby within a long jump of the water. We caught eel catfish, longfin eel and bass right next to camp 3. The only negative is lack of amenities for the money. A long drop or non-potable tap on the high ground would be absolutely amazing. Each camp site in the lower area has their own fire pit with a metal ring that heats up over 30-60 mins. You can stick a rotisserie over the top and bang out a roast lamb!! Overall I loved the spot!
