Stay for lunch or dinner at the infamous Imperial Hotel or sample local beers at Matso’s Brewery.
If you're longing for a relaxing day at the beach, we are only 25 minutes from Noosa or Sunshine Beach. Head to Hastings Street for a spot of breakfast and shopping. If you're looking to explore further, the charming town of Yandina is only a 15-minute drive away. A 20 minute drive to the west will take you into Kenilworth. Both Mount Coolum and Mooloolaba Beach are only 30 minutes away.

To keep the area pristine, fires must be in allocated pits. You must bring your own wood or purchase some from us in advance and we will have it ready for you on arrival.
Pets are welcome with prior approval, but they must follow property rules. Swimming is allowed only during daylight hours, and caution is advised due to natural creek conditions. Jumping or diving is prohibited.
For the safety of all guests, property access is strictly for booked individuals, and non-paying visitors are not permitted. We encourage exploration on foot, as all areas are easily accessible. Please do not drive your vehicle around the property.
As there are no on-site toilets, kindly bring your own camp toilet and ensure proper waste removal. You will find a free dump point at Eumundi RV stop over on Napier road or in Kenilworth at the Showgrounds.

Messy campers will be reported to Hipcamp. Under no circumstances place any rubbish in any of the rubbish bins along Reeves Road as our neighbours are very unappreciative of this.
All this is just 5 minutes from Imbil and Kandanga where you can find everything you need for a great camping trip.

The sites are level pastured camping areas with lovely trees providing good shade alongside the river. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched.
The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks.
You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles.
Access is 4WD or AWD only.
In severe weather the Mary River can flood. Be prepared to leave in extreme weather.

"Hideaway Camp" is located down a slight incline to privacy. This site is perfect for couples, families and small groups. Creek access is via an embankment and the water is suitable for paddling.

Ask us about our Camper Trailer for hire. Includes setup and pack down, so you can come straight from work or home and get into your relaxing camping break immediately. BYO queen bed linen, pillows and towels.

Stay for lunch or dinner at the infamous Imperial Hotel or sample local beers at Matso’s Brewery.
If you're longing for a relaxing day at the beach, we are only 25 minutes from Noosa or Sunshine Beach. Head to Hastings Street for a spot of breakfast and shopping. If you're looking to explore further, the charming town of Yandina is only a 15-minute drive away. A 20 minute drive to the west will take you into Kenilworth. Both Mount Coolum and Mooloolaba Beach are only 30 minutes away.

To keep the area pristine, fires must be in allocated pits. You must bring your own wood or purchase some from us in advance and we will have it ready for you on arrival.
Pets are welcome with prior approval, but they must follow property rules. Swimming is allowed only during daylight hours, and caution is advised due to natural creek conditions. Jumping or diving is prohibited.
For the safety of all guests, property access is strictly for booked individuals, and non-paying visitors are not permitted. We encourage exploration on foot, as all areas are easily accessible. Please do not drive your vehicle around the property.
As there are no on-site toilets, kindly bring your own camp toilet and ensure proper waste removal. You will find a free dump point at Eumundi RV stop over on Napier road or in Kenilworth at the Showgrounds.

Messy campers will be reported to Hipcamp. Under no circumstances place any rubbish in any of the rubbish bins along Reeves Road as our neighbours are very unappreciative of this.
All this is just 5 minutes from Imbil and Kandanga where you can find everything you need for a great camping trip.

The sites are level pastured camping areas with lovely trees providing good shade alongside the river. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched.
The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks.
You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles.
Access is 4WD or AWD only.
In severe weather the Mary River can flood. Be prepared to leave in extreme weather.

"Hideaway Camp" is located down a slight incline to privacy. This site is perfect for couples, families and small groups. Creek access is via an embankment and the water is suitable for paddling.

A beautiful property that is well maintained. It was close to Eumundi and the highway. Lots of green grass for the kids and dog to have a run. Spacious sites and water. We extended our stay and Rob was very hospitable and friendly.

Highly recommend Karrajong Camp. Tan and Kevin are lovely hosts, directions were on point and what you see is what you get.
We had the whole meadow (with beautiful lush grass) to ourselves, when you book it, it’s all yours. Our dog absolutely loved it too.
The creek was easily accessible and flowing which made for a fantastic afternoon dip.
Quality long burning wood fire wood is available for $15 per tub (02/2026) and fire pits available at each camp site.
We will be back for sure!

We camped in the overflow area so we could use the fire pits. It's a massive open area with shaded spots closer to the creek for the afternoon sun. Not mowed as short as the showpiece area a bit further on. We had the area to ourselves. The main camp area is very nice and would be the most amazing spot for families with kids. Heaps of flat well maintained grass for games etc. So close to Eumundi for the markets and Tewantin/Noosa. A short drive to Kenilworth. Great position.

A great place to spend a quiet couple of nights. A very well maintained area surrounded by nature. Only a 5-10 minute drive to Eumundi and Cooroy. But if you want to do nothing but relax, this is an ideal place to do it.

Being able to camp within 2 meters of the water was so awesome, the campsite was better than we had expected.
The weather was a bit gloomy for the start of the trip and had essentially created a creek around our set up but it was still possible to get around easy, (ground mat was a lifesaver.)
Unfortunately not much luck with fish, but we did get multiple mud crabs each day so definitely bring some pots.
The addition of having firewood on site was a huge bonus too. Even despite being wet, the wood burnt super well and we could have nice coals almost all night.
We really wish we could’ve stayed longer, you keep forgetting you’re in national park and the only people I ever saw were on boats.
Truly a gem so close to home.

Glenns directions were clear and the secluded spot on the river was beautiful. We really enjoyed our time at this spot and will visit again. Our 2wd was ok, yet I wouldn't try in wet weather given the track to get to the spot. Well worth it when you set up camp though.

So close to the river and the campground is maintained so well by Libby. The swimming hole right next to our site was excellent. Both my wife and I are glad to have been there quite a few times and many more to come.

Very private campspots. Nice little creek but not very deep when we visited. Great for dogs and for a little splash. Amazing dragonflies and trees. Nice fire pit, and tree swing. Good Location close to Kenilworth for a day out.

Beautiful well maintained camp spot with a lovely creek for swimming. The owners were wonderful and came to greet me on the way in. I stayed in camp 3 which is the best with a huge tree for shade, There was also a bonus portaloo. I was the only one there so it was very peaceful, however camp 2 wasn’t far away so if there were others it wouldn’t have been as private. This is a gorgeous spot and I highly recommend it. I really enjoyed the friendly cows popping in for a visit too.

Great location for day trips to surrounding areas such as Gympie, Noosa, Rainbow Beach. Beautiful big green campsites, some with power and water, some not, rolling views of hills and cattle. Hosts were wonderful, this is a quiet safe location, we spent 5 nights and definitely recommend.

We camped at the meadow in our caravan with 2 kids (1 & 5) and 2 dogs and had the most relaxing time, spent most of our time at the creek where the dogs swam and the kids played, can’t wait to go back. Kev and Tan were lovely and dropped off some goodies on arrival. Incredibly well kept property and will definitely book again
