Our grassed slightly sloping sites are located on the beautiful Clarence River, with deep water access. There is a boat ramp just 1km away in the Village next to the Pub with access to fishing, wake boarding, swimming and all your other favorite water sports. You can also explore the historic riverport village which has a number of great cafes and some really beautiful galleries plus old wares stores. We are 40 minutes from Yamba, 1 hours from Coffs Harbour and 10 minutes from Grafton. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure.

With a combination of natural bush and 600 grand old macadamia trees, Booyong Farm can give you that private off grid experience while being only 5 minutes to Clunes Store and Cellars (which has great food, coffee, groceries, fruit / veg, alcohol and a postoffice), 15 minutes to Bangalow, 20 minutes to Lismore and 30 minutes to Byron Bay.  Alongside our old horse Sunny, our Chooks, the Cows and our dogs Bowie and Naboo :) there is abundant wildlife on the property such as wallabies, echidnas, platypus, eagles and a wide variety of other birdlife. Choose from 3 sites in either the Main Farm Plateau (Site 1), Creekside (Site 2) or the Macadamia field Site 3). Note: for Creekside and Macadamia Field access you will need a 4WD. All sites offer privacy for guests and have a great view of the stunning sunsets we have each day at Booyong Farm.  The spring fed freshwater creek is accessible year round for all sites and is nice to cool off in after a bush walk, either on the property or at one of the many breath-taking locations nearby.  There is so much to do in this area... from fine dining and horse riding to lazy days on the beach. No matter what time of year it is there is always something fantastic to experience here in the Byron Shire.

Awesome spot close to Grafton. It is quite literally on the side of the highway so yes there is noise... Unfortunately the sites are squashed up in the end corner and are definitely too close together as we were the first ones there and got boxed in by other vehicles/caravans. Beaware if you are planning on leaving early to either leave your car hooked up or give yourself enough room to hitch back up onto. Otherwise great spot and fair price. John was a great host who went above and beyond.

Weekend Trip to Eltham Station Farm Stay

We booked to stay here last minute from Byron and were very happy with the experience. We were the only ones staying, so had lots of space. There were lovely views over the river and beautiful sunset and moon rise. The staff were lovely and accommodating too. Would definitely stay here again and recommend! Next time we will walk to Eltham Pub :)

We rate this hipcamp in the top 5 of all the hipcamps we have booked. Great location, flat area, plenty of room and space between sites, beautifully maintained, easy access, nice wide entrance for larger caravans, and great communication from host. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Well maintained site, easy access and only a quick trip off the highway and close to the main road. Perfect for our two night stop to visit with friends. Ample room for to camps, we had three campers during our stay and there was still plenty space to maintain privacy.

What a fantastic area to camp. Pristine grassed area right near the water. Plenty of space to relax fish if you want or do nothing. Not too far to drive to Maclean or Yamba which is near the beach or for shopping at both towns. Ideal for dogs.

This was our most favourite Hipcamp we stayed at over the prior five weeks travelling. A wonderful relaxing place to stay right on the river and very close to Yamba and the beaches. Cathy and Tony were the perfect hosts. Highly recommended!!

Great spot, we got in after dark and met James who guided us into our spot. It was nice, quiet with plenty of space to turn around. Only a short drive to Clunes where there is a cracking little cafe for a coffee

We ended up in the higher campsite not by the creek as you would need a proper 4WD and we have a 2011 Nissan x trail. Nonetheless was a great spot, we booked late (8:30pm) and James was really really lovely. You can see the house from the site but still felt quite private. We had a wonderful time - thanks so much!

Beautiful setting. Watch the sunset over the water. Only 4 spots and we were the only campers. Plenty of grass for kids to play. Fires permitted. Only downside is the old highway behind. Just take ear plugs

It was great to enjoy the sunset direct on the river bank. Only a little drive from the next township if you feel like a coffee in the morning. The road is a bit close.
