What a great place to camp - lots of room, boat ramp or fishing from the riverbank spot just up the road, clean toilet and Ashby Markets 2 mins drive away. We loved staying here!

Clean open camp site with lots of grassy space to spread out. Across the road from the river which has nice shady trees to relax under and throw out a line. No shade at the camp except for the old shed. Short drive to Maclean and only a couple of stones throw to the boat ramp. Definitely recommend. Thanks Sean.

Lovely peaceful spot across the river from Maclean. The beautiful horses surrounding the site really add to the magic. Reasonably priced and well kept. Would return if in the area.

The site was exactly as advertised. Good level maintained grass to park on. Great for an overnight stop or a few days to explore the area. Owner was friendly and helpful. Good little boat ramp a few hundred meters away.

Absolutely loved my overnight stay here!! The fact there was a beautiful undercover area (it was raining so this was a great asset), it was by the river, beautifully mowed and tidy - wow.
Definitely would stay again. Wish I had time to settle in for a second night.

Fantastic camping spot! Sean was really helpful and accommodating. You can do some fishing or sit by the river, and it's a great location for day trips to Yamba or Angourie. Really cute horses next door too.

Great spot to camp, heaps of room on flat lush grass. Beautiful view of Maclean across the river. 2 minutes to Maclean by boat (easy public dock to park up) or 15 mins drive. If your travelling with a boat this is the perfect spot with a boat ramp 300m down the road, and you can tie up right out the front of the camp site.

One of my favourite campground so far. So peaceful, beautiful and clean place. Great price- will pay anytime for this kind of view. One portable toilet which was clean.

We stayed one night to break a long journey down the M1. There’s plenty of space, and one very clean portaloo fixed to a trailer - a big step up so it would a bit tricky for anyone with limited mobility. Very quiet and felt safe.

Super easy going, nice flat land overlooking the river, which was great for fishing. Portaloo was clean which is nice. The ease of access and lack of restrictions was great.

Lovely quiet spot across from the river. Plenty of space with horses in the adjacent paddocks, which were great to watch grazing. Only a short drive into Maclean and Yamba.

This was a great spot, level, flat, grassy sites. Portaloo was very clean and inoffensive, heaps of space, views across the river on one direction and the hills behind in the other. Curious horses were welcomed at our site, they’re very friendly! They did get the zoomies overnight though, and fortunately I had read another review that commented on the galloping hooves so I knew exactly what was going on! Definitely recommend this one for a short stay with access to Yamba, Iluka, dinner at the Harwood Hotel, and a bit of brother vs brother cricket.

Great spot close to Maclean & Yamba but without the crowds. Camp at the front of the paddock close to the river or at the back with great views of the hills & horses just over the fence. Really well maintained flat camping with a central rustic communal covered shed area.

It was a beautiful location in a grassy paddock. There was a shed which provided a great shelter for meals. There was soft flat grass which was comfortable for camping on. The portaloo was clean and there was a beautiful view of the Clarance River, the hills, and friendly horses in neighbouring paddocks. All in all, a pretty awesome spot!
We went camping for the weekend to access the local climbing crag, but could totally imagine this site as a stunning rustic venue for a wedding or similar event!

Great location. Right by the river and surrounded by fields. Felt very rural. Nice clean portaloo and undercover structure as a central space to camp around and mix with other guests if you choose to be social. Highly recommended.
