Sylva Lagoons is a 570 acre beef cattle and native timber producing farm, which we, Pete and Elaine bought seven years ago, for somewhere beautiful and peaceful for our retirement. It is so beautiful living here we thought we should share it. If you are booking to join us, please give a rough eta so we can be at the campground to welcome you The lagoon at the campground is over 10 acres of water, with native forest on three sides. It is great for canoeing or bushwalking and our bird life is spectacular. No phone or internet since 3G was removed. Sorry! Dog friendly - with limitations. Flushing disabled toilet available. Good access for 2WD. Campfires permitted in a designated area and firewood available for a donation to cut it all. CRITICAL! As we are farmers we need to know your ETA. Please advise us your ETA before arrival so we can be there to greet you.

Disappointed that Hip Camp directions took me down a track to the back of the property. Well worth the stay as it was so peaceful, relaxing, friendly hosts, clean amenities & an amazing outlook over a lagoon full of birdlife.

We booked to stay here last minute from Byron and were very happy with the experience. We were the only ones staying, so had lots of space. There were lovely views over the river and beautiful sunset and moon rise. The staff were lovely and accommodating too. Would definitely stay here again and recommend! Next time we will walk to Eltham Pub :)

We rate this hipcamp in the top 5 of all the hipcamps we have booked. Great location, flat area, plenty of room and space between sites, beautifully maintained, easy access, nice wide entrance for larger caravans, and great communication from host. Wish we could have stayed longer.

A beautiful, still and quiet place to let go and connect with nature. Kangaroos, gorgeous towering gums and the reflections in the lake all add to the sense of well being. Walking through the forest also feels very connected. The grounds are well kept with the bonus of a bush shower and washing up area. We also appreciated being able to purchase some free range eggs from their chooks. Owners are very kind and generous and respect your privacy. Highly recommended.

Well maintained site, easy access and only a quick trip off the highway and close to the main road. Perfect for our two night stop to visit with friends. Ample room for to camps, we had three campers during our stay and there was still plenty space to maintain privacy.

What a fantastic area to camp. Pristine grassed area right near the water. Plenty of space to relax fish if you want or do nothing. Not too far to drive to Maclean or Yamba which is near the beach or for shopping at both towns. Ideal for dogs.
