There are four major dams that are deep and clean, and a recently built gravel road along the northern boundary leads to Gypsy Corner, where you can watch the sunset over the mountains and see the trains rolling by three kilometres away. An unlimited supply of dry firewood is available, composting toilets are on site, and you can walk the 5.5 kilometres of fence line without seeing a single house. Abundant wildlife includes kangaroos, goannas, bandicoots, and wallabies. Guests must take great care when walking in the bush. I supply hard hats and warning signs where appropriate. Push bikes and canoes are available for use, and there is great fishing along the Lansdowne River on the way to Harrington and arguably the most beautiful beach on the Mid North Coast—Crowdy Beach. Mount Vincent Lookout is directly north and about a 20-minute drive, with the Lansdowne General Store only 10 minutes away. During summer, small fires are allowed for cooking only, but in the cooler months it is possible to sit around a campfire all night. Animals may be allowed, but please check with me first regarding what you have, and I will let you know.

We offer riverside camping in a scenic bush country setting where you can enjoy fishing, canoeing and swimming in the calm brackish water of the Wang Wauk river, all accessible from a pontoon or boat ramp. We are located 10 minutes' drive from the Nabiac township where you will find a collection of food, beverage and interesting antique and giftware. Explore cleared and wooded areas via walking tracks and observe the varied bird and wildlife. Relax around the campfire in the evenings and enjoy some star gazing. I must say this is one for the 1st hipcamps we have been to where the pictures are accurate. The camp sites and surrounding land is manicured. On arrival we met Hayden who took us to our camp site and gave us the lay of the land and local knowledge then Bee and Ash came down to welcome us. Great place to bring a bike,kayak and fishing gear. The ringers hut was awsome to play with the kids some ping pong and an awsome old school arcade machine.

Our second visit to Willowbank and it was just as beautiful as the first time. Owners Jo and Ian are lovely people. We and our friends shared Paperbarks site with our two caravans. Fantastic extremely large and private site with open grass area and lots of shade by the river. We spent the weekend in the river with the kids floating around on our inflatables. Only ankle to waist deep. Cows and horse came to visit and say hello on our second morning. Highly recommend for a fantastic off grid camp. There is public toilets down the street (3min drive), and the quaint town of Stroud is only 10 minutes with an IGA, cafes and beautiful 2nd hand/ local craft stores.

What an amazing find!!! A beautiful location to get away from it all. The property was impeccably maintained and the host Mark was absolutely lovely. His recommendations were spot on! We really loved setting up camp for the night, enjoying the stars and cooking over our fire. Our dog was absolutely thrilled to be off leash too and run and sniff around. We will definitely bookmark this spot to come back again & again!

She Oaks Absolutely stunning spot, quiet, and private. Beautiful big oak tree for shade with also plenty of sun for solar. Plenty of options for setup. Site is flat and grassy, private river access Perfect for couples or a couples. We stayed with our dog who also loved it with swims and plenty of room to explore. We will most definitely be back. Telstra phone reception. Host Jo was extremely friendly and helpful from m the start.

What an amazing stay! A big thanks to Richard and Roslyn for hosting all 8 of us in our yearly camp trip. They were extremely accomodating and friendly throughout the entire 2 night stay. We enjoyed the lily pad pond where we played with Rc boats and walks around. The atmosphere of the cows were soothing and relaxing and getting a chance to feed them made the trip amazing. The location is very convenient and close to foster beach only 30 mins away where we enjoyed a beach day out. I’d definitely recommend visiting this amazing stay that is kid friendly and options with powered sites, toilet and showers available it made all the difference to our camp.

We stayed two nights and were lucky to have place to ourselves. The second day was a scorcher after our drive up to gosford tops (we seen a spotted quoll! and a lyrebird) we come back and sat in river all afternoon which was lovely. Heaps of wrens weebills mistletoebirds, kookaburras and a bright blue kingfisher, and a wallaby stunning. The river was beautiful i wore crocs in as rocks on bed of waterway Waterhole is waist deep but water was low when we were there.
