It is private and secluded, and with just one group staying at a time, you are guaranteed the space to yourselves.
Please go straight ahead on Collins Ave and enter through the car entrance, NOT the truck entrance which is off to the right. If you come in the truck entrance I can't see you.
There are many beautiful walking and bike trails in the area. Lots of wildlife to meet, including water dragons, wild ducks, and pythons, to name a few. There is also nearby evidence of the original occupants, the Darkinjung people.
You are also welcome to bring a couple of horses! There's a safe paddock with a trough and nice trails in the area to explore.
The Kulnura General Store and bottleshop is just 9km down the road for basic supplies.

We also have 2 x 4 star cabins which sleep 15 between them, they are listed separately on Hipcamp. However the guests from both the camp sites and the cabins have shared access to the pool and facilities. Which includes a large under cover patio area.

We stayed one night at Canoelands Orchard Campground (Site 1) and had a wonderful family experience. The campground is very clean, safe, and peaceful.
Sites 1 and 2 are located separately from the other sites, which gave us great privacy—perfect for families with young children. Our child was able to play safely, explore nature, and really enjoy the outdoor space.
This was our second visit. We first came in December for fruit picking, and that lovely experience encouraged us to return and stay overnight. We truly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend this campground to families.

A lovely stay for a night away from Sydney! We thoroughly enjoyed fruit picking and walking around the orchard. The camp spot was well kept and had a gorgeous view of the valley. It was a bit noisy from the buildings nearby in the later evening but other than that it was a wonderful time! Would certainly recommend!!

First camp with HipCamp and we lucked onto a winner. Camped for 2 nights over the busy Australia Day weekend and loved having the place to ourselves. Following rain the previous week, the creek was full enough for swimming, the generous campsite flat and sandy underfoot and the amenities rustic but charming. Our stay at this campsite was truly special. Carol was the perfect host – welcoming, responsive, and there to greet us on arrival with a personal tour of the site. The location by the dam is wonderfully peaceful, with abundant birdlife that made for a relaxing atmosphere.
The real highlight was the unexpected bonus of the wallaby sanctuary. Being able to witness morning feeding time with Carol and Dee, seeing the orphaned joeys being cared for, was a privilege and something we won’t forget. The dedication and love these two put into caring for these little creatures is remarkable and inspiring.
This is more than just a campsite – it’s a place where conservation and hospitality come together beautifully. I hope more people discover and support this special place. Highly recommended!
