The site is spacious and has a good view of the valley.
The toilet and tap function well.

However, the host was having a party with very loud music (DJ + live band) whole night from 4 pm until 10:30 pm.
I didn't expect I hear Disco music the whole night while I am camping at a relatively remote area, not in the CBD.
The other two groups also have kids, not sure if they complain about the loud music.
However, it completely ruined the experience for us.
Suggested that the host should let people know she (or her guests) will have a party beforehand, then we will choose another place.

We tent camped at Behesht Retreat and absolutely loved it. The peaceful, off-grid setting made it the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. We had the whole site to ourselves, which made it feel even more private and relaxing. The pool was perfect for cooling off on a hot day, and we enjoyed walking up the road to watch the cows. A beautiful and refreshing escape, highly recommend.

I have been living in Sydney many years how ever I did know there was such a hidden gem existed- host was warm and kind, feel welcome to camp there alone.

Perfect for adaptable families

Staying in Jennifer’s front paddock was perfect for our last minute long-weekend camping with our kids and our car-camping set up. For travel-friendly families this place had a lot of little things that makes short camp trips easy.
Most enjoyed sitting by fire pit and sharing games to entertain all the kids. Thanks again, Jennifer!

It's a very nice place, a great place to share. The host, Jennifer, was very friendly. It's very quiet, has comfortable spaces, and bathrooms for bathing. I loved her dog, Happy. Thank you for the experience.

We were warmly greeted by Jen, her 5-year-old, and their terrier. After quick introductions, we found a campsite and went for a shower — which turned out to be extremely cold, much to my surprise!
Waking up to the cool morning breeze, with fog drifting across the fields and cows grazing in the distance, while sipping freshly brewed coffee was simply amazing.
There was only one flat area available for camping, but we chose not to set up there as it was too close to the gate. Instead, we picked a spot just a few meters away that offered much better views. The ground had a slight slant, though, so I had to keep an eye on my table to stop things from sliding off!
The site itself was well maintained, aside from the occasional cow dung scattered around the camping area. The pool was a bit chilly too, but we still enjoyed a refreshing dip followed by a shower.
Unfortunately, we visited during the rainy season, so we couldn’t fully enjoy the bush walks, and the trip took a bit longer due to ferry maintenance.
That said, I might return during warmer weather to really make the most of it!

We enjoyed our 3D2N stay here. The view was beautiful, toilets and showers are clean and well maintained and the pool was the highlight of our stay. I could not recommend this enough

Me and my partner had a beautiful time here! This area was stunning, and was kitted out with everything you need for an easy camping trip. Not to mention amazing views! If you have a dog you must check out this place, our german Shepard had an amazing time too.

Really enjoyed our weekend camping at Behesht Retreat. We were welcomed by our host upon arrival and had a quick chat about the property and local area. Even though Behesht Retreat is located in a remote valley, it is easily accessible via a well kept gravel road. This Hipcamp boasted showers & toilets as well as a pool and our little dog had fun playing with the hosts dog!! The weekend was extremely relaxing and we also ventured out for lunch into the old historic village of St Albans.

We just had the most incredible weekend of our lives! Jen and Majid were the epitome of warmth, generosity, and kindness, making us feel truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Their home and property are nothing short of paradise—it felt like stepping into a magical land where connection, joy, and wonder reign supreme.
From the stunning saltwater infinity pool to the playground, trampoline, and even geese wandering about, every moment was filled with delight. We loved tree climbing, abseiling, watching horse riders pass by, and gathering around the campfire under the stars to roast marshmallows. The lush green grass and interesting fauna made the experience even more unforgettable.
This place is beyond perfect—it’s a slice of heaven on earth. Thank you, Jen and Majid, for creating such a special place and sharing it with us. We’ll cherish these memories forever!

Very beautiful location. Jen was a lovely host and very understanding. Has toilets and showers which were well looked after. We were the only campers there over the weekend so we could pick anywhere we wanted. The ground was a little unlevelled but we didn’t mind as we only stayed the one night. Would definitely recommend!

Jennifer welcomed us when we arrived even though we arrived later in the evening. Lovely site with great views, basic amenities and well maintained pool. The first night there was only one other site, the next day 3 more arrived, but there is plenty of space so every group was spread out. The terrain is fairly sloped, so there is a bit of a searching for a level spot. Our little dog loved being able to run off leash the whole weekend to explore and play with the host's dog. While it is a bit out of the way, it's definitely worth going there for a relaxing retreat.

It became one of our best camping spot so far. This place has everything you need! Toilet, shower, clean water, swimming pool and marvellous view. And bonus point to super dog friendly and off leash possible. We would like to come back for another camping!

It was the perfect place for my family and friends, they accommodated the children with a playpark and the host Jen was lovely enough to hang with the kiddies while we set up the camp.
There were other dogs there too and all the other campers were respectful of everyones space.
The pool was perfect, and the toilets/showers were clean and easy to use.
I would happily stay here again.

Jenifer was lovely and very helpful. Even taking the time to watch my friend's daughter at the play area while we set up camp. Very clean and tidy showers and toilets. It was awesome to have the added bonus of the swimming pool which is a lovely place to cool off and relax.

Jen was a fantastic host. Beautiful location, but unfortunately not too many level spots for our camper trailer. Our two year old loved the playground and the pool would be fantastic when the weathers warmer.

Basic paddock campsite in the front yard overlooking the creek and hills. There's kids playground area, a few ducks and a friendly little dog. Owners friendly and welcoming. Don't skip lovely little coffee shop 'The Pickled Wombat' on the way.
