If you value your privacy, then you are at the right place. We have just one exclusive campsite on our 40 acres. You are hidden away and guaranteed privacy from the host accommodations.
Private access is by 4WD only.
Farm route is accessible by 2WD in dry weather - check with hosts before or on confirmation of booking.
Access during unpredictable weather will depend on your vehicle/camper/caravan configuration. Please check with host prior if you are unsure. We are more than willing to make it work for you.
On arrival, guests are met by host and directed to the site.
Camp site is a secluded, grassy spot beside the creek, among tall gum trees, where you can enjoy peace and serenity. Perfect for families or group of friends. The creek has lovely shallow areas suitable for kids to splash and play in.
Occasionally you may see sea eagles soaring overhead, they nest in one of the trees along the creek beside your camp area.
Camp area has a composting drop toilet housed in an outback style 'dunny' shed. Fresh rainwater is available.
The site has a fire pit and some light fire wood laying around from fallen branches, plus mesh to place over the fire pit if you wish to use the fire for cooking. (There will always be smaller branches and kindling available for fires however, larger and longer burning wood is not guaranteed all season.)
Well behaved pets are welcome. You may be visited by some cattle during your stay...they will keep out of your way.
There are some large and unique trees to admire and keep your eye out for wildflowers that grow along the creek. There is an active eagle's nest in one of the trees.
Guests are welcome to explore down the creek where you'll find some great swimming holes.
For a relaxing stroll, guests are welcome to walk the farm fence lines which are regularly maintained with a mower.
There are so many beautiful local attractions to visit. Our local village is less than 2kms from the property where you will find Byabarra Cafe for excellent refreshments. Then a gorgeous drive up onto the plateau and you will find Comboyne village with a historic 1905 goal, Larrikins Lockup.
And if you are feeling more adventurous, Rawson Falls and Ellenborough Falls make lovely day trips. And Comboyne Rock provides some stunning views.
Upon arrival your host will provide you with an information pack on local attractions and general Hip Camp house rules and guidelines for your safety and enjoyment.

We are nestled amongst lush bush with lots of resident kangaroos, wallabies and birdlife. We consider our parcel of land a very unique place and offer an ideal setting for a relaxing getaway.
Our property is 177 acres with 17 acres of green open pasture for you to find your own patch, and plenty of sunshine for your solar needs. We also have exclusive access to Queens Lake with a lovely trail you can walk or drive, and a peaceful place to take a leisurely kayak ride, paddleboard or try your hand at fishing. Grants Beach access is across the road from our driveway where you can go swimming, surfing, fishing and even 4WD along the beach.
We welcome you to find a spot that feels comfortable for you to set up your camp, but please note the following conditions:
- All campers must be self-contained with their own power, water, and waste management.
- Pets are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
- Due to the bush fire danger period, campfires are not permitted from 1st October to 31st March. From 1st April, all fires must be contained in a firepit.

Hosts were so lovely and we opted for the breaky basket which was a highlight! Definitely recommend.
Close to town but the camp site was dead quiet, you’d never know. Only sounds were from the nearby kangaroos munching the grass.

This place is special. We’ve been a few times now and can honestly say it’s one of the best hipcamps with one of the best hosts we’ve come across. This particular ridge is a bit further away from everything but is our favourite. Sun in the morning, shade in the afternoon, and at the top of a hill so it doesn’t get too wet if it rains. You may struggle to get to the top in rain with a heavy caravan or without a proper 4wd which is a consideration. Linda was a fantastic host as usual. Our toddler thoroughly enjoyed seeing Barney the pig, the horses and the dogs. Linda was very accomodating, gave us fresh eggs and let us spend as much time as we wanted seeing the animals. This is a place we’ll be coming back to for years to come.

Camping was really good. Very secluded and private. Ample shade made even a 35 degree day bearable.
We had a flat tyre and they were very helpful to assist.
The incline is a bit steep to get out of there and I won't recommend coming with a sedan but our campervan made it out using momentum. These are the kind of properties that make Camping an absolute pleasure.

Our second time celebrating my husband’s birthday at Lisa’s beautiful land. She’s truly one of a kind, always so lovely, welcoming and caring, and always making sure we feel comfortable and at happy. Beautiful nature, a fresh water dam for a swim, horses, wallabies and only a short drive to Seal Rocks, where we spent the morning at the beach swimming. Stunning stargazing at night. Couldn’t ask for more. Looking forward to coming back.

What a beautiful experience at Belly's ❤️ the sites are massive and there's lots of space between other camps. It's a stunning spot 😍 very peaceful and quiet while still being close to shops and cafes etc. I loved the cows, kangaroos and the birds. I would def recommend this place and I will def be back 😊

This is now the second time we have stayed at Belly’s Farm in our caravan with our two dogs. Ian is very friendly and welcoming, meeting you at the gate to direct you to your chosen site. All sites are well spread out for privacy and space and super easy to navigate. You can use your generator if you wish. The farm has kangaroos (many cute joeys too) and cows that just wander around. Although we had rain on the last night the ground did not get soggy. One big ticket item for us is location! Only a couple of minutes drive to the most glorious dog friendly beach. We will be back. Great spot off the main road so all you'll hear is nature, the wind through the trees, ocean in the back ground and wildlife at play, perfect blend. Huge parcel of land, easy on the eye with many locations to pitch up. Jordi came over to say hi, close to town and beaches. Enjoyed staying there.

We had a great time with our family at Wild Hope Farm - it was lovely and peaceful. Nearby Queen's lake is great to explore and just a short drive to beautiful Grant's Beach, which wasn't too busy despite the time of year. The host family was lovely, our kids had a great time meeting them all. Very close to both Bonny Hills and North Haven and all directions given were accurate and easy to find. Would easily stay again!

This is a great campsite. It's off grid camping, but super surroundings. Heaps of space and no other camp sites near each other. The horses roam freely and are very friendly. Three separate ridges up the valley to walk around. The dam has a platform with ladder for ease of entry and exit from the water and is a good swimming hole. I'd recommend 4WD for access. Suitable for all sized vehicles.
