Old bar beach is a 12 minute drive, Forster-Tuncurry is 15 minutes and the beaches of Pacific Palms a 45 minute drive. There are file piles near the bush sites that you can help yourself too. You’re welcome to stroll through the property, where you’ll see fallow deer, sheep, wallabies, and a variety of bird life. We love welcoming groups of family and friends to enjoy catching up in nature, and we pride ourselves on offering a relaxed, friendly experience. But if you’re looking to party, Diamond Park Campsite is not for you. We host a maximum of 20 guests on the property. Weekend Trip to Platypus Creek

What a quiet and sweet place to camp. Loved that we had it to ourselves. The sounds of birds and cows was delightful. Minimal car noise from the road and none at night time. No water in the creek for our visit this time, but would be beautiful when flowing. It certainly didn’t spoil how relaxing it was. Great host!

We loved our long weekend getaway to this private, quiet little oasis. Catherine & family were very easy to deal with & excellent communication. Great spot, fully fenced which was great with 3 dogs. Would highly recommended & will definitely be back. :)

7 nights at Platypus Creek

We stayed for seven nights in a caravan to explore the surrounding area. It was a convenient distance from Taree and the coast. It had been very dry recently and the creek was totally dry, unfortunately. Access from the road was clear and the large site was pretty level with lots of clear spots to choose from. While there was some road noise, it wasn't often and didn't bother us. It didn't detract from the peace and tranquility we experienced. Communication with the host was minimal and as necessary to be keep us updated. We enjoyed our stay and would return in the future.

Weekend Trip to Camp Kundle

It was such a good experience! First of all the location was conveniently close to Taree and Harrington but still felt very secluded and quiet. The facilities and infrastructure was great, hot shower, clean and comfortable toilets, campfire with a quick and flammable way to light it (a bit of gasoline for the noobs). And basically, Gary, the host, was so nice and welcoming I wish all of them would be this way. It was pouring rain the second night so Gary came out with his car to check up on us and watch that everything is ok, which was an absolute sweet thing to do. So, to the other hosts, don't be dicks, be Gary!

This place really surprised me, as it is a field, with a fancy bathroom in the middle. As well as a sheltered seating area. I'd go again, really looking forward to seeing how this place develops. It has everything you'd want for a camp spot, a fully functional bathroom with hot rain shower and flushing loo, very clean and smells clean too. It has a nice sheltered sitting area which is good for cooking and eating in when it's raining or sunny! It is a nice big field with lots of space for all kinds of vehicles and camping options. It's really remote and quiet, there's a pretty creek, and some swings for kids. It's an actual farm so animals have to be on leads.

A great location, it was private enough to feel in nature and peaceful but with the bonus of being close to everything and having amenities. The shed also was also a huge bonus. We had 3 young kids who loved the spot with the sheep and chickens. We would absolutely come back for another stay.

We stayed at Creek Front Six and absolutely loved it. The site itself is beautiful—peaceful, well set up, and right on the creek, which made it incredibly relaxing. Waking up to the sound of the water and being surrounded by nature was exactly what we were hoping for. What really made our stay special, though, were the hosts Greg and Jamie. They were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and their local knowledge and warmth really stood out. It’s clear a lot of thought and care has gone into this campsite. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about coming back. Highly recommend Creek Front Six to anyone looking for a beautiful spot and outstanding hosts.

Lovely clean quite campsite next to the river, toilet and cold shower , Kayaks to use Owners lovely people, Turned up on a 39 degree day , owner come down to offer icy cold super doopers, Lots of land to go for a walk on. Kids can ride bikes and there is a wonderful little (lily)pond with a swing, water jump trampoline, for the little kids .
