Welcome to our spacious riverside camp sites on the banks of the beautiful Moruya river in the South Coast of New South Wales! Glenduart Farm Riverside camps are the perfect location for enjoying the camp, or as a base for exploring the local area. We are located just a short distance from town, where you can find a range of shops, restaurants and cafes. If you love markets, you're in luck! There are plenty of local markets in the area, including the Moruya Country Markets which are held every Saturday. You can also visit the Moruya Farmers Market, held on Tuesday afternoons, or the nearby Tilba Market, held on Saturday mornings. The tiny nearby town of Bodalla boasts a magnificent dairy with cheese tasting (try the lemon myrtle!) and interactive calf feeding daily at 10am and 4pm. If you want a few pints and great meal, the ribs at the Adelaide Hotel are magnificent (although only available seasonally) and a courtesy bus is available from the entrance to the property. There are plenty of tourist attractions to explore in the area, including the stunning Eurobodalla National Park, the historic town of Mogo and the renowned Mogo Zoo. For those who love the outdoors, the Moruya river is perfect for fishing, kayaking and swimming. If you're looking for natural beauty, you'll be spoilt for choice. Take a drive along the coast and discover beautiful, secluded beaches, or explore the nearby forests and waterfalls. Our riverside camp sites are great for large or small groups boasting generously sized and spaced grassed sites offering beautiful views of the abundant Moruya river along with individual firepits* Whatever your interests, Glenduart Farm Riverside Camps are the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that the South Coast has to offer. THE IMPORTANT STUFF: ACCESS: As you enter the property, you'll find yourself driving down an unsealed dirt road, before embarking on approx 100 meters of fairly flat to gently sloping paddocks. We recommend 4WD or AWD vehicles to access, however will leave this to your discretion. PETS: We are a working farm with horses and cows that are easily spooked and we only allow dogs under very (very) special circumstances. Please send an enquiry if you wish to bring a furbaby along, but as a rule, we do not allow dogs on the property. AMENITIES: There are no drinking water or electricity provisions on site. There is a toilet provided with walking distance to all sites. Our future campers and native wildlife request that you keep your business contained to onboard toilets, porta potties or the toilet provided. Under NO circumstances are toilet cassettes to be emptied in or around the river or campsites. RIVER ACCESS: Our large sites offer sweeping views and great fishing however the banks are raised and will require some tenacity if you wish to swim or pop a kayak in. You can however moore small watercraft including boats & jetskis after putting them in at the boat ramp a short drive up the river. FENCING: We have farm fencing in place between the camp sites and the river bank, however we advise small children be monitored as there are several open access points along the riverbank. As mentioned, we are a working farm using gates and fences to contain our livestock. As a rule, leave all gates as you find them (eg: if you open a gate, close it after you. If its already open, leave it open) WILDLIFE: You'll see huge wombat holes all along the river bank - although tempting for the kids, please refrain from digging these out further as our wombats still use them as houses and they contribute to riverbank erosion. You may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of our fabled red stag in the evenings and will see an array of beautiful birds and other native animals that share our property. Please note: Any form of animal cruelty will not be tolerated and there is no hunting allowed on the property. *FIRES: Govt / weather restrictions permitting. Mabe lit in designated firepit areas only - BYO Firewood. A small wood pile is provided to each camp on arrival to get you started and provide a modest fire for the night, however chopped firewood is available by the bag or wheelbarrow on a cash basis. $25 for a large bag - $50 for a barrow. Nestled right up against the escarpment at an elevation of 450m, this high-end, off-grid 40 acre property effectively offers your own private slice of Macquarie Pass National Park - amazing views, giant cedar trees, fern forests, cascading waterfalls and palms surround. It feels remote but it's only 90 min from Sydney, 30 min to Kiama and just 15 min to the shops. The property also offers the only hiking path up to the top of the escarpment for some truly amazing views. As of September 2025, many of the trails on the property have been degraded by the rains and are now challenging for 2WD cars. If you're towing or it's wet we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles. Since this is coastal rainforest and it has been very wet, expect leeches anywhere it is damp. These are easily kept at bay with deet and or trousers tucked into socks. We're not particularly price sensitive - until all those rate rises - but we are extremely value sensitive so we set out to make your stay extremely good value for your hard earned money. The land itself does most of the heavy lifting but also personal service and of course there's Lana to fall in love with. Note, Mellows Rd is 2.6km long and rises 400m - in parts the road is a 15 degree grade. It's all paved but narrow so if you are towing a large heavy load, it's going to strain your car.

100 acres of secluded paradise with a kilometer of free flowing pebbled creek. Bound on two sides by the craggy escarpments of the Budgong and Morton National Parks there is ample grassland to give a feeling of space yet an abundance of trees to wander through as you engage with the tame wildlife and magnificent birdlife. Bring your mountain bike, fishing rod, swimmers, hiking boots, tennis racket, basketball (a hoop on the tennis court) or climbing gear and leave the kids in the play area while you sit by the creek and listen to the water tumbling through the rocks. If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the platypus, brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet and the Yellow-bellied glider. We only have three campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 400m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available. Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4's and off-road camp trailers. 100 acres of secluded paradise with a kilometer of free flowing pebbled creek. Bound on two sides by the craggy escarpments of the Budgong and Morton National Parks there is ample grassland to give a feeling of space yet an abundance of trees to wander through as you engage with the tame wildlife and magnificent birdlife. Bring your mountain bike, fishing rod, swimmers, hiking boots, tennis racket, basketball (a hoop on the tennis court) or climbing gear and leave the kids in the play area while you sit by the creek and listen to the water tumbling through the rocks. If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the platypus, brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet and the Yellow-bellied glider. We only have three campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 400m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available. Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4's and off-road camp trailers. Loved it at Wandy. Kate and Dave were lovely hosts. We had the animal tour. Totally recommended lots of cuteness and we got to cuddle a baby goat, and hugs some beautiful donkeys. We were fortunate to arrive and had paddock to ourselves. That said, paddock was huge, plenty of room for other campers. We had cows, alpacas and kangaroos in the paddock with us. It was fabulous.

Second time camping at Wombat Hollow. Loved it even more. Went for an early evening stroll this time and saw so many wombats. The bird song was gorgeous evening and morning. Camped up at the Pecan Wood camp. The view from the top of the rise is wonderful and worth being a little further from the creek. Pecan gets sun all day so perfect for cooler months. If we visit in summer we'll stay at one of the shady creek-side camps.

We are definitely coming back here! The hosts were lovely no nonsense folk … our kinda people. Clean and beautifully maintained. Right on the banks of the Shoalhaven and not too far from Nowra for the essentials. What a gorgeous place … birdsong all day and fish in the river. Bliss! It was so good we stayed an extra night. But don’t tell anyone… it’ll be our secret. Shhh.

Brogo Dam is excellent location for a swim and to take your dogs for a walk or swim. 16.5 kms to shopping centre of Bega. & 34 km to Tathra beach. Come and enjoy an exclusive bush campsite on the outskirts of the historic village of Wolumla, between Bega and Merimbula on the Far South Coast NSW. The small township of Wolumla is within walking distance and consists of a great pub and a general store. A short drive further you'll find Candelo, which has its own pub and general store as well as a showground and the country markets held the first Sunday of each month. Merimbula is 10 mins away with great cafes and shops and beautiful beaches. Campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Campers are welcome to have a contained campfire, either BYO firewood or collect from the ground. There is plenty to see and do in the area including exploring the nearby National Parks including Bournda and Beowa.
