Here you can discover amazing wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, cockatoos, lyre birds and a lot of other birds (designated bird drinking stations through a WIRES program which has a lot of success.) Bring a camera and take in the incredible sights such as wildlife, cliffs, caves, and a magical view of Mount Yengo and Moruben from the top of the property. They are designated walking tracks around the property with all variable lengths & difficulties. Ride Dungog is located at The Common in Dungog, for mountain bike enthusiasts. The area includes 650 acres offering trails for all different levels. Beautiful area to visit and a wide variety of camp sites available from grass paddocks to more hidden bushier areas. There was probably 8-10 camping groups when we visited and we all had plenty of space. The facilities were great and they even have a family shower room which was convenient for wrangling a small child at shower time. Wood can be purchased on site too. The bird life was fantastic and there is a river wrapping the property. Hosts were very friendly. We will come back for a stay.

A beautiful camping area. Plenty of shade and a lovely forest to wonder through. Camp fires are permitted which makes the camping at Bunyip even more authentic. Lisa is great to get along with and very helpful. The only constructive criticism I can give is that the amenities are a little to rustic. But if you are self contained in this regard, it's the perfect camp to chill for a while.

The site is so good. The toilets are very clean. Stargazing is amazing too. Hosts are friendly as well. We’ll be back for sure. 🙂

Directions were clear. Great set up. Each camp is a good distance away from one another. My dog had a great time exploring and swimming in the dam. Lisa was a great host.
