Tejn Loft has 13 acres of undulating paddocks to run, jump and explore. Situated 13km from St Albans, you can have lunch at the famous Settlers Arms Pub or explore the Saturday farmers market. We want you to enjoy your stay and we have tried to think of little touches to enhance your stay! Welcome to a slice of paradise to share with family & ; friends.***Tejn Loft is designed for group getaways of 6 adults or more. Your group will have exclusive hire of Tejn Loft so you can all enjoy the property for private camping without any other groups or campers on the property. *** BOOKING REQUIREMENT: As you have exclusive use of the property we require: - Minimum 2 night stay - A group size of 6 adults or more (the group can be made up of adults and children, 2 children = 1 adult in booking size). - Smaller groups are allowed but must book for at least 6 adults (or equivalent to make up the booking size we appreciate this can make a small group costly). Tejn Loft is set near the famous Settlers Arms pub in St Albans, Hawkesbury, and the neighbouring Yengo National Park. It is approximately 108 km from Sydney. Set amongst 13 acres of undulating field and established trees. Your group can enjoy Tejn Loft's stunning and tranquil setting. You get the best of both worlds, a remote and peaceful campsite but with a full kitchen (cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, and dishwasher), 1 x flushing toilet, and 1 x outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Enjoying the peace and noises that nature makes whilst enjoying time with their family and friends. As this site is set in the tranquil countryside, it is not suitable for music or loud parties. Pets are welcome but please refer to the rules. The land where Tejn Loft stands was originally built by my father, Flemming Falk, who moved to Australia from Tejn in Denmark in 1974. Our family has enjoyed the land and the location near St Albans for many years, and we would now like to share it with you and your friends and family.

We have been here several times now and thoroughly enjoyed each time, David makes incremental improvements over time and is appreciated. Great place for your camping group

Lovely spot. The shade was perfect for the hot days. The kitchen made things much easier and was a good hideaway for the kids when we got a heavy storm with hail. The undercover seating area was helpful too, just be aware it is not weather proof. There was no water in the river unfortunately which made the hot days hard but a quick 15min drive to St Albans was perfect for a dip and a drink at the pub. Just to note - large dirt/dust area which became a mud pit with rain. Watch for low lying areas when pitching your tent as they all flooded with rain. We loved our stay and would recommend. I imagine this would be a great winter camping spot!

Words can’t describe this place, the land is so beautiful, well maintained, with lots to explore! The facilities are incredible, they have absolutely everything you need in the kitchen, the dishwasher was such a great addition, we couldn’t believe 😆 Great destination for experienced and new campers. The little details like a note and a card left for us, made it feel so special. Please keep doing what you doing guys, and a big thank you from our group camp! We can’t wait to be back! 🏕️

What an amazing place! A beautiful location on the river, where our children, dog and cat enjoyed playing and exploring. The variety of bird song in the morning was amazing. The buildings where pretty and cute, the kitchen had everything we could possibly need and the shower was good and hot. Such a lovely spot.

An absolutely outstanding site that we all walked around for 20 minutes and then said ‘this is just the spot we come to forever now’. Amenities made it so comfortable and the sandy river is stunning. Would not hesitate to rectangle can’t wait to go back!

We spent last weekend at Tejn Loft celebrating our daughter’s first birthday and it was just perfect. The place is spacious, peaceful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. David and Helen were so welcoming, and the facilities made it easy for everyone, even our first-time campers. The kitchen was fully equipped, the BBQ area was great for group meals, and the showers and toilets felt like such a luxury for camping. We had the best time and can’t wait to come back!

The second time my friends and I have spent a weekend at Tejn loft and we loved it just as much as the first. So much camping room, great amenities and a beautiful location. David and Helen were really accommodating for our large group, we had the best time!

Our group had a fantastic time at Tejn loft. Having an undercover dining area, indoor kitchen and hot shower was a real treat particularly on a rainy weekend. The grounds are well maintained and the scenery is stunning. The kitchen is well equipped and the all the little touches made our trip so easy (tea towel provided for use 🙌🏻). We will definitely be back to enjoy this stunning spot again.

We loved our time at Tejn Loft Campsite. I can't describe how well set up the facilities are. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! Multiple fridges, dishwasher, cooking items, dishes and plenty of power and usb ports for charging etc. Covered BBQ area with 2 x BBQs made cooking for a large group a breeze. Then there's the divine shower and flushing toilet which were quite the luxury. We had a few first-time campers in our group and the facilities made it an easy introduction for them. We are already planning our next trip! Thanks for sharing it with us.

The fully equipped kitchen provided a homely touch, allowing even the occasional campers to effortlessly take part and contribute to group meals. The firewood quality was phenomenal—the best I’ve ever encountered! Be prepared to order around six lots for a weekend, as it burns splendidly and you’ll want to enjoy it to the fullest. A must-do activity is the riverside walk, offering refreshing views and serene moments in nature. Everyone in our group couldn’t stop raving about the immaculate shower facilities—they were a delightful luxury after a day of adventure. The stunning views and serene aspect of the site are unparalleled, making it a perfect retreat. David and Helen exceeded expectations with their top-notch communication, ensuring everything went smoothly. Our entire group is already buzzing with excitement about planning our next booking here. Highly recommended for both nature lovers and those seeking a comfortable outdoor getaway!

We loved our 4 day weekend at Tejn Loft, the facilities were fantastic & the surrounding landscape was beautiful. It was the perfect place for our group of 8 plus Bella dog, the shower was amazing & having a full kitchen was definitely glamping at its best. We headed into St Albans for lunch at the Settlers arms which had live music ,plus a local farmers market. I would definitely recommend this Hipcamp to anyone looking for a secluded getaway with a large or small group. Thank you David & Helen for sharing your little slice of heaven.

Camping with all the mod cons

Tejn Loft is the magic unicorn we’ve been looking for - private group only, plenty of land to space out our tent sites, an outlook that makes you feel surrounded by nature, but also all the mod cons to elevate the whole experience (and congregate when the weather takes a turn). The riverbed was mostly dry, so we couldn’t swim but still had fun exploring. Some of us made a trip into St Albans to explore, while others made good use of their hammocks. And we ate like royalty with a full kitchen and 2 BBQs available. We’ll definitely book again - perhaps when it’s a bit cooler and we can enjoy the campfire. Thanks, David and Helen, for making your space available to strangers. The space is wonderful as is, but we also can’t wait to see how the additions and improvements come along.

When the ladies within your group return to camp saying " that's a fantastic shower", you know your time at Tejn Loft will be all smooth sailing. Our experience through torrential rain was made a lot easier by the great facilities (well equipped kitchen, undercover bbq area) It's such a picturesque area. Kids had a ball exploring the riverbank. Extremely well managed by Helen and David who provide a very impressive and detailed Welcome Pack with all the site and local information.

Tejn loft never fails to charm. Our 5th visit, and every stay is different. Great flat camping space, lots of room to sling our hammocks, and a central fire spot for sitting around into the night, means all the ingredients for a great stay with friends are in place. We love the fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, fridges, and space with outdoor bbq sheltered table and chairs. So many games played around the table! No water in the river this time but the kids roamed the riverbed and dug holes in the sand, created shelters and had a small fire down there. We did trips to St Albans and Wisemans for swims, and rigged our own screen for a movie night one evening. And lots of reading in the hammock, and one run along the road. As we leave we always rebook for the next time - our new year always starts well at tejn loft!

I would have said this property was great except the weather was extremely hot and the river had dried up and the aircon was non existent. (Although it was only a short 20min drive to st Albans for a swim). The grounds were unkempt so we picked up all the sticks laying around to make it better. The kitchen was well equipped. Needs a microwave. The shower is fabulous and the toilet clean. At night it is fabulous with fairy lights in abundance. There are plenty of trees for shade. The electricity hookup was a bonus. Our stay was private and very quiet. ( except for the rooster across the road). I would go back when swimming is an option or in cooler weather. ( tip. Get the cleaner to sweep beside the fridge)

Tejn Loft was a great place to camp with friends. It has fantastic amenities including new shower, toilet, bbq and a kitchen equipped with everything you could need. Perfect for a weekend away in nature but with all the home comforts.
