Set on 100 acres of rolling tree-studded paddocks, Hunter Valley Equestrian Centre is a tranquil place where you can relax and enjoy the happenings on the farm, local wildlife, or simply a chance to relax with a cuppa and enjoy the view. The location is perfect to access the wine and food bowl of the Hunter Valley, citylife and beaches of Newcastle, or country towns of Maitland and Morpeth. Located at the end of the M1, you are only a moment off the main road but a world away from everything. Just 1.5 hours from Sydney and 20 minutes from Newcastle. Hunter Valley Equestrian Centre is pet-friendly, and offers short-term accommodation for you, your horse and your dog on request. Please note that conditions do apply. Bringing an animal must be discussed prior to booking. Horse accommodation is $33 per horse per night per stable.

Our campsite is beautifully set on 100 acres with horses, birds, kangaroos, and lots of trees. Powered site with water and a small toilet block with a shower and sink. Guests are welcome to bring one dog. Dogs must not be left alone whilst guests leave the premises. Plug in your power, connect to the water, and disconnect from the world (only if you want to, there is 4G available). Wake up to the peace and quiet of the countryside and the gentle noises of our majestic horses in surrounding paddocks. Bookings for up to 2 x adults and 2 x children maximum.

Farm Shed Room

A modern room located in our farm shed. It includes a double bed, sofa bed, TV, microwave and bar fridge. A startup pack of tea, coffee, water and toilet paper is included. All linen is supplied. No WiFI but 4G is available on the property. Please note that all bathroom facilities are a short walk away in the breezeway of the stables. If you're in need of a break on your east coast holiday trip or a weekend city break, we are the perfect place to rest up, conveniently located directly next to the M1 Freeway. You can wake up and experience nice bush walks and many spectacles you wouldn't find in the city. Kangaroos, many bird species and plenty of horses are one of our many treasures. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, and never left unattended. Sorry, no car charging.

The Mews

A first-floor studio apartment is located above the stable block. It has an open aspect kitchen with fridge, microwave, combined lounge & dining area with TV, 2 x queen-size beds, ensuite bathroom and views overlooking the paddocks and riding arena. A startup pack of tea, coffee, water, and toilet paper is included. All linen is supplied. No WiFI but 4G is available on the property. If you're in need of a break on your East Coast holiday trip, or a weekend city break, we are the perfect place to rest up, conveniently located directly next to the M1 Freeway. You can wake up and experience nice bush walks and many spectacles you wouldn't find in the city. Kangaroos, many bird species, and plenty of horses are some of our many treasures. Sorry, no Electric car charging. No pets allowed at the MEWS.
